  1. Even though Dean had made it a habit of intentionally keeping Natalee out of the loop when it came to what he did. There were times that it just wasn't avoidable. So she had naturally picked up a thing or two from the hunters. There was also the fact that both Winchester brothers insisted that they teach her how to properly defend herself, without the use of her magic. For those just in case scenarios. And clearly today was one of those just in case type of days. The day had started out just fine Natalee had just finished one of her college classes. She was naturally heading to her apartment when something promptly hit her in the head and hauled her down an alley. Swinging at the creature that had snatched her, Natalee missed causing her body to flip around. Whatever held on to her, had no manners they were dragging her by her hair which happened to hurt "Excuse me, kidnapper person? Could you possibly not pull my hair?" She smirked knowing damn well whatever procured her wasn't going to listen to her.

  3. Her body made contact with the wall with a thud “oof, ouch.” She said as she stood back onto her feet. Clearly whatever had pulled her into this ally was just a henchman the thing still hadn’t spoken one word to her. “Alright my guy, what is it you require me for?” The creature finally looked at her “Winchester.” Natalee shook her head “Clearly you aren’t up on the times my guy, I haven’t seen Sam or Dean in two years.” This was one of the off-again times of her crazy relationship with Dean, not that that ever mattered. Sure she hadn’t seen the brothers in two years, but that didn’t mean she hadn’t spoken to them but that she wouldn’t let be known. “So hows about we forget that you pulled me here and go about our days?” The creature grabbed hold of the girl’s jacket and flung her into another wall. This time she was expecting it though and caught herself before it could cause any damage.

  5. She glanced around the ally spotting an old wood pallet. Utilizing the moment of the creature trying to turn around she slipped over to the pallet and broke a piece of it off. She was directly behind the creature and whatever it was, it was slow, so it had barely noticed she had moved. She clutched the piece of wood she had and shoved it through the creature's body, vampire style. Except not aiming for the heart she merely wanted to incapacitate it. However, the damn thing turned to goo as soon as the wood went through it. And it fell to the ground splashing all over the female “Well that’s not what I wanted to happen.” She shrugged it off. This hadn’t been the first thing sent to try to manipulate her to draw the attention of the Winchester Brothers and wouldn’t be the last because of her connection to the brothers.

  7. Sighing Natalee pulled her phone from her pocket. She debated which of the brothers she would call ultimately deciding on Sam. She knew Dean would overreact and want her to instantly come home to him and wasn't ready for that yet. She pressed the contact and then the phone symbol next to his name and placed the phone to her ear. As she waited for the younger Winchester to answer her call, she started brushing the goo off herself. When she finally heard a voice on the other line, she couldn’t help but grin “Sammy!... Yes, I know it’s been a long time. Look something just attempted to kidnap me… No, I don’t know what it was… Well, that’s why I’m calling, I shoved a piece of wood into its stomach and it just turned into goo and well it’s dead now… No, I didn’t call Dean… Sammy, I called you…” sighing she pulled the phone from her ear and just hung up.

  9. Ignoring the subsequent phone call, she tucked her phone back into her back pocket of her jeans and walked out of the ally. She looked around making sure no one had witnessed what had just happened and then made her way back to her apartment. Upon entering her apartment, she tossed her keys and phone down on the table and flopped down onto her sofa. However, she had forgotten that this morning she had connected her phone to the speakers around her apartment. As a result, when she got home it reconnected and read out her calls ‘Call from North Star.’ The robotic voice said. She sighed pushing herself up and grabbed her phone answering it. “Dean, how the heck are ya? Long-time no talk. How’s life?” She knew that Sam had inevitably called Dean and told him what happened. But she really hadn’t wanted to talk to Dean about it.

  11. After a lengthy phone conversation, it was decided that Natalee would be packing up her mustang. Leaving Chicago and making the 8-hour drive home. She wasn’t sure when home became Kansas considering she grew up in Virginia. Probably about the same time that she started referring to Dean as her North Star. She sighed as she began packing her things, it wouldn’t take long. Natalee never really stayed in one place long when she left home. Consequently, she tended to not gather much stuff to make it easier to pick up and leave whenever she wanted. She placed her things into duffel bags, sure she wasn’t really ready to leave Chicago. But the way Dean’s voice cracked when he asked her to come home, she knew it wasn’t just the attack earlier today that had the eldest Winchester wanting her home. And she would inevitably go whenever he needed her. That was just the type of relationship the two shared. No matter what the other would drop what they were doing to go to the other if the other needed them.
