Did they actually try and attack you?

Yeah they tried to stab me.

Do you have an injury?

Nah, I threw something at them, a stool, a chair, and as I threw it at them it hit them one or maybe two of them on the head or on the back. They moved at me to try and maybe stab me so I moved away. If I had slipped I would be a dead man. I would've been killed there and then. I just tried to help people by screaming out.

And in terms of the people you saw them stab, there was one woman?

One woman near London Bridge, under the train bridge, before the Borough Bank. She was going "help me, help me" and I was trying to help but I couldn't do nothing. If she's alive, please tell me, I want to go see her (she's basically stuck in his head).

What happened to the three men?

They ran through the market, they were running to the Tavern, they ran into the Market Porter, they ran into a restaurant. I saw them stab a woman, her husband, I was going "everyone run outside". The Police were going the wrong way so I ran through the market, found a PO, said to them "follow me, I know where they are". They ran with ran, got around the corner, then I heard three gunshots, and three stun grenades going off.

I came around the corner, and they were lying on the floor.

They told me to go into the tub, police were shouting "Get out of the way, armed police!"

They was lying on the floor. And they had a fake belt and they went "It's a bomb!". I went "It's not a bomb, cos I've chased them. I've run around chasing them, throwing bottles for 5 minutes. It's not a bomb." It wasn't a bomb, I don't think it's bomb. If it is a bomb I'd be surprised.

If it was a bomb they would've blown us up.

And what did they look like, the three men?

The three men, Muslims, short hair. I think of them had like a tracksuit top, a (shell?) suit. I think, I couldn't remember all of it. They were all shorter than me. And they were running around going "This is for Allah!", that's all they were saying.

What kind of knife did they have?

I think it was a kitchen knife, maybe longer than that. But there was three of them, three guys.

And what were they wearing? You said a shell suit?

I think one of them had like a red shell suit. I would say they were in their thirties, no older than that.
