  1. SKETCH-ZAP'S IMPROV READ-ME FOR FELLOW WIN-8 USERS
  2.
  3. Hello Window's 8 users! This is how you get that file you got from the wonderful ASHPoD to your lock screen. Because the way she says to do it in the read-me doesn't work on our weird Window's 8 machines. Though I still recommend reading the read-me, it's quite funny.
  4. So:
  5. 1. Download the file if you didn't already. Careful of the bad advertisements. They are bad.
  6. 2. Extract it to your desktop for easy finding.
  7. 3. Now do that funny swipe on the side of the computer to get that bar to come up on the right. Click "settings."
  8. 4. In the bottom right corner click "Change PC settings."
  9. 5. Now you'll be at that spot where you can change all the styles, colors, and passwords and wonderful things like that on your computer. Click "Personalize" on the left of the screen if you haven't already. You'll see the lock-screens that came with your computer on the right. Click "Browse" beneath all those pictures.
  10. 6. Now you'll be brought to a page where there are a bunch of pictures, most likely your pictures from your file, "Pictures." Go to the top left corner and click "Files." Click "Desktop" because that's where you put the extracted file folder.
  11. 7. Click open the file called "Portal Log-On Screen." That's where it's at. Go to "Images." Now you'll see three pictures, I believe. At least I do.
  12. 8. Choose one of the three pictures by clicking on one of them. Finalize your decision by clicking the "Choose Picture" button on the bottom right of the screen.
  13. 9. Horray! You have a Portal 2 lock-screen. Test it by going to start and clicking your user avatar thing. Click lock. There you are!
  14.
  15. So... yep! That's how you do it on Window's 8.
