MegaTale Neutral Endings- Never Come Back

**NOTE: THIS IS A NEUTRAL ENDING FOR MEGATALE. THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR FUTURE MEGATALE PACIFIST CHAPTERS. IN THIS ENDING, ADRIAN AND BETA ARE THE LONE SURVIVORS, AS ROCK HAS KILLED EVERYONE ELSE HE CAME ACROSS. THIS IS CANON TO MEGATALE, BUT NOT CONNECTED TO EITHER THE PACIFIST OR GENOCIDE ROUTE.**

A communicator vibrates, who knows where. The sound is completely turned off, but if one was to listen closely, they could hear a voicemail...

"Heya." A voice states. "...Is anybody there? ...Well. Guess I'll just leave a message." The voice was none other than Beta, trying to call Rock. "So... It's been a while since you left." Beta says. "The old king returned, and tried to get back to ruling the Prototype. It was after returning to power that he enstated a new law. A law stating that humans are to be shown the same respect as we would normally show to our fellow robots." This would've been relieving to anyone who would've heard this, but...

"...However..." Beta continued. "...Nobody really liked the idea. After all, it was a human's fault that the king, and the human SOULs, are now all gone. But not only that, but the lives of Zero, SSN, the Royal Guards, and..." Beta fell silent, as if there was a name on the list of deaths that he didn't want to say. "...Nobody wanted to see it happen ever again." Beta manages to say. "So they turned against him. But Adrian is a man of peace, so he stepped down from the throne before things got too out of hand. After stepping down from the throne, he decided to return to World and continue living in Development Build."

"...You might be wondering why I haven't filled in for him." Beta continued. "But... I'm not really fit to be king, ya know? ...However, since there was nobody else left, especially with Mikey hiding himself for... Whatever reason, they had no choice... But to declare Proto Man MKII to be king. ...Me and Walter sometimes talks about his progress, though, and... Well, as tough as Proto says to be, and despite how tough he actually IS... Walter says that MKII has been... Stressing out because of it."

"The Prototype, due to the loss of many robots, most of which other robots look up to..." Beta continues. "...Has been rough during these dark times. ...There were so many demands coming from all over the place. I don't think even Adrian- or Bawss if he were still around- would've been able to handle them without at least a LITTLE stress. And since Proto Man MKII has suddenly gone from wanting to be in the Royal Guard to being the king of the ENTIRE Prototype itself... It's just too much for him to bare."

"...Despite that, however..." Beta states. "...Proto has always been persistent and careless. Walter has tried many times to get MKII to take over for him, or at LEAST help him out, but Proto keeps denying his offers, always saying he could do it for himself. Eventually, me and Walter both decided to let MKII exhort himself to teach him that he can't always rely only on himself."

"As for me..." Beta decides to state. "...I decided to stay with Adrian in World. It was nice, me and him got along fine. I sometimes get him books from the Library so he doesn't always have to read the same old ones all the time. He's a good roommate." Beta was silent for a moment. "...Though, he's not as great a roommate as MegaBoy was." Beta continues, before becoming silent again. "...Heh. You know, Adrian always said he wanted to see you again someday." Beta continued. "How very nice, huh? Even with everything that's happening down here, his heart never changed."

"...Though, I bet it would..." Beta continues in a serious, possibly bone-chilling tone, "...If I told him that, because of the promise I made for him to protect you... You went off to KILL MEGABOY WITHOUT A SINGLE TRACE OF REGRET." Beta sighs and was silent once more. "...You get what I'm saying, kid?" Beta states. "...Never come back."

"You aren't welcome here."
