  1. 16:25] "You're welcome." His typical demeanor lightened her mood vaguely. "It was an elixir of healing. I ordered it from Alastor." Thanks to Zariel's odd interest in the ex-thrall, Aspen had gained enough coin for purchasing them.
  2.
  3. A perfect example of using your resources.
  4.
  5. The thought caused a faint, less devilish laughter to protrude from her. Aspen settled herself against the ground, leaning close to the dryad.
  6.
  7. "There's something we need to speak about.. soon." The woman's eyes drift towards him, accompanied with a fade of her grin into a frown. "First," she begins, catching sight of Ra'Kamel from the corner of her vision.
  8.
  9. "Ra'Kamel. Lessons will commence soon. Or now, if you'd both like. There's news I have to share-"
  10.
  11. Yes, it was for the both of them to acquire. "Are you both available now to begin? Or would you like to hold it off for another time?
  12.
  13. Do note: Your first lesson is your last lesson." Another forced grin while she glances between the demon and dryad were given.
  14. (Aspen)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [16:26] The nose of the Invidia twitched as he looked towards Vaan, clearly a little unsure about his answer. With him not coming straight out and saying it, it was clear that it was something he didn't feel comfortable telling Daius. Which was fine, he didn't mind that at all.
  18.
  19. "I see. Did you help the assault on Gehenna?" he'd ask, clearly curious.
  20. (Daius Invidia)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [16:27] Vaan Invidia says, "Yep."
  24. [16:27] Vaan Invidia says, "I even beat up one of Gehenna's magi."
  25. [16:27] Ashley Praniel says, "Boy. . those genderswap potions really work. . "
  26. [16:27] Ashley Praniel exclaims, "Oh, hey, Vaan!"
  27. [16:27] Zephixo says, "Hmm.. Yes, I'm free."
  28. [16:27] Aspen exclaims, "Excellent. Do follow me then!"
  29. [16:27] Ra'Kamel says, "Vaan, Kairi Cion. If you see the spider demon around let them know im looking for it. Ashley we must speak soon too."
  30. [16:27] Kairi exclaims, "Okay! Sure!"
  31. [16:27] Rai Ann says, "Hiiiya Cion"
  32. [16:28] Cion Invidia says, "Of course Ra...and hell Rai."
  33. [16:28] Ashley Praniel asks, ". . Huh?"
  34. [16:29] Kairi asks, "How're you, Rai?"
  35. [16:29] Rai Ann exclaims, "goood!"
  36. [16:30] Rai Ann asks, "what about chu?"
  37. [16:31] Grand! Their first and last lesson in Riftmancy was going to commence! The woman stepped towards the side with both of them following in pursuit. Once again the black, metallic hilt is removed from the connectors of the scabbard and drawn up, freeing the blood held inside of it to reform for the umpteenth time today!
  38.
  39. Drawn up and slashed down, the depravity of her rift leaks among the crowd as she gestures for the two to follow her out.
  40.
  41. "You both won't be disappointed~!" Her voice sings out melodically. The wings of her stretch behind her person momentarily, keeping both rifts here, and the other in her desired location opened long enough for them to step through before they close up!
  42. (Aspen)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [16:37] Zeph would indeed follow her. Yet, seeing that he was going to be following her into a rift, he'd take a deep breath. Well, it was only his second time. He could handle it better than the first. Hopefully. And so he did! As he took a step into the rift, he found himself at the house of the woman, and good news.. He didn't feel all dizzy and shit.
  46.
  47. Walking over to the wall, he'd lean against it and look at her. He was curious as to how their first lesson was to be their last. It sounded interesting. She had also claimed that they wouldn't be disappointed. Shrugging a little, and getting out of his own head, those golden hues would find their way onto Aspen.
  48.
  49. "Mm.. Alright then."
  50.
  51. For now, he said few words and kept quiet afterwards. After all, he wasn't the one giving the lesson.
  52.
  53. "Stage is yours."
  54. (Zephixo)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [16:39] After giving the Invidia children a slight command to find the spider demon Ra'Kamel walked into the rift following Aspen along with the dryad who it supposed would be its classmate or so the mortals called it.
  58.
  59. " I'm eager to learn from you. With all this support from you and Nyphadora in the future I will no doubt become a rift magi of excellent talents. " The demon stepped into the void and where they landed was the snowy tundra's of the mountains once more.
  60.
  61. only to retreat into Aspens mountain home. Ra'Kamel said nothing for sometime before explaining in great detail his victories against the Angel, The Gehennan Leader and the unlikely combination of Ashera the Krausite paladin and Alvi the Undead Necromancer Occultists. After boasting of his victories to Aspen the demon prepare to pay attention.
  62.
  63. "Let the research begin. Eventually my people will be taking over Gehenna and I need any power there is for me."
  64. (Ra'Kamel)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [17:04] With entering the abode, the two were blessed in the aroma that wafted throughout the welcome atmosphere. Dimly lit runes of a red hue emitted head upon their approach, so it'd be awhile before the climate changed inside to a warmer, more comfortable one! Like that mattered with Aspen and Zephixo's attunements with ice anyways.
  68.
  69. "Thank you, Zephixo." A grin is offered to him, before her eyes drift upward in a diagonal motion towards Ra'Kamel who boasted about his recent victories. The woman was attentive. His achievements perked her smile up widely. "Congratulations, Ra'Kamel, I'm impressed. Ashera Ixis is a pathetic whore. I'm unsurprised of her loss, but I do commend you for besting them both regardless along with the others spoken of."
  70.
  71. A dip of her head - approval towards his gloating was given. The Angel Elisheva? The Gehennan leader, Chotion? Or whoever that referred to, and the final two.
  72.
  73. "An undead and a Krausite working together. What a strange thing." She shrugs. There wasn't anything more in relation to comment against that odd notion.
  74.
  75. "Now! Class.. yes, that, begins now! Your first and final lesson on Riftmancy. These are the same collection of notes I received from Malentine Invidia that I'll bestow on to the both of you. What you do after is practice. Plenty of it. So!"
  76.
  77. She begins, manipulating gravitational forces around her weapon and letting it float between the tree in the center. Her first action in the lesson that wouldn't be acknowledged until later on.
  78.
  79. "Riftmancy is the art of teleportation. Depraved. Sinister. Dangerous. It's similar to the arcane, but much messier and deliberate." Aspen's throat clears, pondering back years ago to that lesson. The woman's notebook is produced, flipping to the page where she had written those notes- word for word of what Malentine had given her. The words, however, are spoken in synopsis.
  80.
  81. "Akin to arcane, which is the power to manipulate the Lifestream and the reality of the word, Riftmancy is a tear directly into it like I've performed many times for you both before."
  82.
  83. Her blade is now gestured to, elevating several feet off the ground.
  84.
  85. "With my weapon, I've practiced for years cutting into the flesh of the Lifestream. That is what is all around us. The Lifestream is what sustains us. It's an incorporeal substance of our world that can only be visibly viewed in the spirit realm. Cutting into it may sound impossible at first for those who are only getting started, but-" She pauses, floating over the weapon towards her. Hopefully they were keeping up.
  86.
  87. "Your imagination is a useful tool for envisioning it of being a palpable object. Close your eyes. Try to imaginea wall! Kindred to flesh. Anything that can be easily penetrated with magic, or a sharp weapon. Imagine that intangible wall in front of you come to life. Try to stare at it nothing. Pretend it is there. Make yourself believe it is real.
  88.
  89. And then?" With her weapon is taken up. "You plunge in your weapon. At first, this'll be difficult. It takes an excessive amount of mana to conjure the first few, but as time goes on, you'll both get a better handle on it."
  90. (Aspen)
  91. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  92.
  93. [17:08] {Item} You picked up Paper (Blank). Dropped by Aspen. .
  94. [17:26] Ra would take notice of the words Aspen spoke calmly analyzing each of their meanings. It had studied vaguely what the lifestream was and what its applications could be the basic theories behind how riftmancy worked was usually pointed towards tearing open the lifestream in many different ways.
  95.
  96. Ra'Kamel tried to envision a wall in front of it large and over baring using the words Aspen gave them as a guidance towards their goal. Ra'Kamel would solve this issue how he would solve anything by using overwhelming dark magics. It knew the power to open rifts slept within it all that was required was for it to harness such power for itself.
  97.
  98. Placing its hand against the 'wall' it would at the very least try to sense the surface of the lifestream to feel the natural energy that flowed around all mortals. It was indeed similar to the Arcane as Aspen summarized magic that floats ambiently throughout the world even though the creature had not fully grasped the intricacies of either the Arcane or the Rift having been around magi who were potent with both magics made them consider how they worked more often.
  99.
  100. More and more Ra searched for the scale and measure of this wall. While it could only sense a few surfaces it could place together a sort of map that flowed in many directions numerous different pathways that the lifestream took and for a demon of massive occultism it was difficult to exactly find a way to overcome such energy.
  101.
  102. As Ra'Kamel finished meditating it would take a few notes. Not only did this mental map of the lifestream serve as a good conduit for Riftmancy but even more so it would be something it needed if it would delve further into the Arcane. There was still something more to learn so the demon stayed silent and listened to more of Aspens words. After all it couldn't have been that simple to break into the lifestreams currents.
  103. (Ra'Kamel)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [17:31] When she said class, she meant class! As she would begin, explaining where she got what she was about to showcase to them as well what riftmancy as an entirety was. An eyebrow would raise from the Dryad. Well, he figured he should indeed be taking notes. Taking a deep breath first, he'd sit down on the floor, placing the paper in front of him on the ground. With his knees propped up, he'd put his left arm on it and would proceed to write with his prosthetic hand.
  107.
  108. Riftmancy 101: How to Create Rifts For Dummies.
  109.
  110. Obviously, one must first understand what a rift was, and how it worked. So as she would continue to speak about the lifeforce, he knew exactly what that was. He was a Dryad after all. And supposedly his duty was to protect this lifeforce, but ever since that accident in Huangzhou, he was contributing to harm it.
  111.
  112. Every now and then, he'd glance up from his notes, observing her movements and whatever the hell she was doing with her sword. Anyways, it was clear that he was listening and taking all of the information in. His writing being fluid and catching every word she spoke, he knew he was going to have to go back and read this a couple of times. As all students should.
  113.
  114. As she was beginning to wrap it all up, he'd look up once more. Imagination, huh? Leaning back after having jotted all of that down, the Dryad would look at his hand. Close his eyes, envision a wall, imagine the wall coming to life, believe it is real.. And then use his scythe to plunge it into said wall.
  115.
  116. Sounded easy enough, right?
  117.
  118. Fuck no. Even herself claimed that this was going to be difficult. Well, they all knew this was going to be difficult, to be honest. But, luckily, Zeph had a lot of mana. Even so, he had a feeling even though he had consumed so many mana x's and bettered his control of it, this was going to be quite the challenge.
  119.
  120. "I like challenges, kehah.. ButI see. Interesting. I think I get the gist of it. Keep on practicing what you have passed onto us, and given the time, we should be able to create one without it having a greater toll."
  121.
  122. Reaching for his scythe, the Dryad would twirl it in his hand a couple of times. After that bit was said, he would close his eyes, setting his scythe to the side and envisioning a wall in front of him. Frankly, it resembled a tree. Moments later, that same wall took form of a living.. wall. And it was quite indeed real for him. That was the first couple of steps. And that was where he stopped.
  123.
  124. Opening his eyes, he'd simply look at Aspen.
  125. (Zephixo)
  126. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  127.
  128. [17:57] Both of her students attempted to identify the incorporeal mass of the lifestream before them. The first attempt was almost the most difficult to distinguish it from the atmospheres of the mountain. A gentle set of cool breezes, akin to coastal summer zephyr's of palpable leylines of wind drifted along throughout her abode. They instilled hope in the ex-thrall, but their radiated warmth could clearly be felt. That soft set brushed up against the two.
  129.
  130. "The lifestream is something.. soft. It sustains life all around us." She repeated. "Envision yourself in a room. A room you recognize; one that brought you grief. A motivator for why you wish to learn this arm and harm the Lifestream." Her tone lowers into a soothing, calming manner. "Those walls will be symbolic for you. Let those be the visible representation of the lifestream for you. Take up your weapon, and try to break it through those boundaries.
  131.
  132. It takes elevated levels of concentration to see through the physical divides it constrains in our world. You are tearing through a living thing. Just as Malentine described it to me, kindred to a hunter's arrow piercing an animal."
  133.
  134. The woman's blade is drawn forward, held out off to the side. The demonstration. Slowly it's pushed forward into the air. Nothingness before their very eyes, unless they attempted to imagine seeing that wall she viewed of a tunnel visioned stare.
  135.
  136. The tip of her blade begins to disappear, plunging itself through that incorporeal substance. Depravity pours out vaguely, and the blade begins moving downward, ripping apart to divide the portal vertically.
  137.
  138. "Your first attempt might be something like this. Do be aware," she calmly states. "My first attempt caused an explosion, so if you try this, prepare yourselves." Aspen continued briefly, expanding its size to about half of her stature. The blade is removed. From within, the emptiness of the void can be viewed.
  139.
  140. "This was akin to my first result, but Eternia will immediately oppose your work to fix the fissure. It is your aim to continue breaking this boundary, furthering your work between each attempt, and fight back with more deliberation to harm it."
  141.
  142. The blade liquifies, blood gliding into the sheath where Aspen fixes the hilt around the straps to hold it in place at her side.
  143.
  144. "I'll be glad to see your attempts when either of you have made progress. This is a dangerous task. Do not step through unstable rifts. You risk harming yourself. I've done it before by accident when escaping Chroma Zanders in Dawn.
  145.
  146. Now.. are there any questions?"
  147. (Aspen)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [18:22] Zeph would once again listen to the woman as she spoke, jotting down little notes here and there so he knew what line he should follow when practicing this. He'd close his eyes one more time after having heard that first bit that she mentioned.
  151.
  152. A room that brought him grief? A reason for him to want to harm the Lifestream. Taking a deep breath, that room would build itself around him. It looked something like a hospital.. He remembered rushing into there, worried.. Scared. Angered. There were voices in his head. He knew exactly who they were as well. They yelled at him, screaming at him to get out.
  153.
  154. What a tragic scene for him indeed. That was the reason he had made the switch over. Why he changed completely and began to harm and hunt those who opposed him. So this had to be enough, had to be his motivator indeed. Opening his eyes now, the Dryad would sigh.
  155.
  156. No rest for the weary, though. He'd get back to writing down the notes, the risks and the instructions.
  157.
  158. Whenever she finished up, he'd roll his arm a little. What a lecture. Picking the paper up that lie in front of him, he'd fold it up neatly and would place it into his pocket. He assumed that she was finished.
  159.
  160. "Alright.. Questions? I don't think so. Not from me at least."
  161.
  162. He'd glance over towards Ra'Kamel to see if they had any. Honestly though, Zeph had never imagined himself here. But it is what it is. He chose this path and well.. He loved every single step he took. Nor did he regret any decision he made.
  163. (Zephixo)
  164. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  165.
  166. [18:25] The velvet words of Aspen continued to immerse in the Kaor's mind. The room something that is hated. The walls that are surrounding you. The feeling of being trapped in a box caged like an animal. Something any demon would resent something any creature would seek to gain their freedom from. There were of course many reasons why the demon wanted to walk back into the void Many secrets it had yet to discover.
  167.
  168. To lead an Army of Nethradin to serve itself and Obsidia to become a Viceroy in this Divine War that would inviedibably break out upon Agartha. Ra'Kamel had still felt parts of its mind and body was absent there was still parts of itself missing within the void it could not truly establish its full power being incomplete as it was.
  169.
  170. Thus the parts that were thrown asunder for it to manifest upon Agartha safely had been calling to it ever so often even so the Demon gathered strength. Sought Knowledge and understanding and wished for nothing more than conquest over those it viewed as lesser beings. Following the Archon was a quick way to gain power and yet it felt as if pieces of him were still lost.
  171.
  172. The demon clutched its chest its anger and frustration rising. Its need to fill the absent hole Its soul and with the rise of great anger became power, Its lust for competition became erratic hatred grew and so did the rise in Demonic aura that spilled from the demon. There was no box...No room no prison that would hold Ra'Kamel it needed this power to be complete to be whole again.
  173.
  174. It had no weapon thus the gathering of demonic magic swirled onto its fists. Imagining the lifestream as currents walls or a room did nothing. This existence of Eternia was nothing more than a prison for the Demon a prison that needed to be broken out of. With its claws it began to tear and slice and slash into the supposed wall in front of it.
  175.
  176. The thrashing demon probably looked like some sort of fool but to itself it let its hatred fester its imprisonment or banishment from the void was still unexplained and its separate consciousness. The demon continued to claw its way towards its other half eager to finally meet it yet no matter how hard it scraped away at the space between the lifestream and the void nothing came about it...
  177.
  178. Anger frustration resentment...Yet still the demon had finally figured out what this absent feeling came from and exactly why it the demon let out a large shout in anger and passion. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA " as it calmed itself down it turned to Aspen. The creature then turned to Aspen frantic began asking questions.
  179.
  180. " I must get back into the void...I must claim what was stolen from me...How long will it take for me to grasp this concept ? I must learn Riftmancy immediately... " The demons mind was even more so warped after this new discovery a new goal had arisenone that was perhaps the main goal ever since its birth. Yet only now did it come to realize its other half was discarded.
  181. (Ra'Kamel)
  182. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  183.
  184. [18:39] Eternia bound the trio. Each passing day, their lives were presently sustained with growth towards power, endlessly fueled by the lifestream itself they sought to harm.
  185.
  186. Ra'Kamel's demonic rage was acknowledged with Aspen's head shooting off in his direction, glaring. The roar, the clawing of the air. He was desperate to escape Eternia. To return to the void; his home. The woman's eyes widened, returning that stare into a stoic expression.
  187.
  188. "Cease." She demanded, tilting her chin upward towards him. A powerful flap of the ex-thrall's wings commenced, raising herself above his stature to look down on the demon.
  189.
  190. "Years. Unless you're impatient, slightly less time. Riftmancy is dangerous and with each attempt, you'll no doubt tire yourself out. This art can cause an insufferable damage if you are NOT careful with how you execute your practice."
  191.
  192. "You want to return to the void, mmh? Then use Eternia, this world, as your room and plunge through its boundaries, Ra'Kamel." There could have been plenty the woman desired to teach the demon specifically. Runes, the Worldscape.
  193.
  194. "In time, with SOME patience, you will be successful. I guarantee that!" Her deep crimson eyes illuminated faintly, tilting her chin back down towards him. "We have tasks to complete under cover. It's not just Gehenna's territories we'll help claim from the savages, but Dawn too. We are not their allies, and they are not ours. My former father, Vedran Ivanovich, has dethralled me." Her nostrils flare with heavy breaths. The hues of she brighten.
  195.
  196. "They. Are. Enemies. We have no reason to go back to that settlement. We will claim the territories of the mountain, recruit more allies who will rebel against them, and act once the time is right.
  197.
  198. Is. That. Under. Stood?"
  199. (Aspen)
  200. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  201.
  202. [18:55] He'd lean against the wall behind him, only side eyeing Ra'Kamel as he seemed to go through a little phase. His golden hues would eventually return to Aspen as she answered the question produced as well as explained some things further.
  203.
  204. Yet, as she mentioned that Vedran had dethralled her, he was quite surprised. Who knew a kick to the nose could cause the breaking up of a family. Tragic. But really, he wasn't expecting news like that. He knew she wanted to become a vampire, and how she felt about the process of it. He'd probably talk to her after all of this was over with.
  205.
  206. Looking up at the ceiling for a moment, the Dryad appeared tranquil. Tasks, this and that. So they were aiming big. And apparently, Dawn was to be claimed as well. So practically everyone was an enemy. How thrilling. His eyes trailed back down to Aspen as she asked her last question.
  207.
  208. "Understood."
  209.
  210. There was no other words he deemed that need to be said from him. He did understand. He'd probably make a couple of trips to see what he could do pertaining to this situation. Otherwise, they wouldn't exactly be able to get new recruits since y'know.. Hardly anyone came up here. Save for the time that Ethan, Quincy and that fairy did.
  211.
  212. So with that said, he'd place his hands behind his head, wondering if she had any final words for them or if they were dismissed. Or whatever it was. He probably would stick around and ask her something.
  213. (Zephixo)
  214. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  215.
  216. [18:57] Ra'Kamel's aura faded as subtly as it could due to the sheer amount of violence the demon contained. Its anger and hatred still boiling. Years? It would take the creature years to be finally complete? There was a sudden pause a new development even though it could sense its power beyond the rift into the void it also could sense that many of itself had been scattered across Agartha as well.
  217.
  218. " Keh after all this time I finally understand what my true purpose here was supposed to be. How long have I been walking around like an absent minded fool? " The demon coiled back to its feet the anger and dread spilled onto its face as it exclaimed a final time.
  219.
  220. In all honesty it was more concerned with its new revelation more so than it was with Aspens daddy issues. Whatever the case was its focus was on completing itself and collecting the pieces that would fill in the void of its own soul. Conquering Gehenna was merely something that needed to be done so Ra could have a base and a following to pursuit its endeavors. " If Obsidia decides that Dawn is their enemy I have no problem hunting them. But as long as this war continues I will not be the cause of discontent between them and Obsidia there is already enough tension between our peoples and the needle will eventually shift in time. If you want my support in truth then become a warrior of Obsidia. Fight for the Archon of Glory and the Invidia's. If you show you are worthy as I have then maybe you will gain what you have sought after for so long."
  221.
  222. The demon was still rattled in its own mind a silent murmuring in its head as it could feel the connection of the lifestream being darkened by the pieces of the voidlings own essence. " My time of ascension is near. I cannot afford to make mistakes or missteps. Everything must go according to my plans and Aspen, I thank you for this lesson it was more than anything enlightening... " A sudden cool pressure emitted from the Kaor a vast dissonance created from the demon as it found out exactly what it could do to regain the power it had discarded.
  223. (Ra'Kamel)
  224. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  225.
  226. [19:12] A nod of gratitude for Zephixo's understanding of who her established enemies were. Their conversation previously allowed her trust with the dryad in heighten. Her enemies were his enemies. A grin is flashed towards him momentarily before her eyes dark back towards the demon, dropping that brief acceptance for Zeph's acknowledgment of her inquiry.
  227.
  228. 'Irrelevant.' She thought about the first question he produced about however long he traversed absent minded, yet, Aspen's hands clap before her, listening idly while in flight to his speech.
  229.
  230. And now out of the way, the cool pressure of his own, and hers amalgamated. Tranquility once again persisted in their presence. A soothing sensation of whirlwinds brushed up throughout the home, settling the tension built up.
  231.
  232. "In recent events that transpired, I'm considerably their enemy. Dawn's enemy. Lord Ipos is aware that I'm now assisting in his efforts to reclaim the lands of Gehenna. I established that earlier with Zariel." A nod of her head yet again, she continues in a more calm tone.
  233.
  234. "You're welcome for the lesson, mhm. I'll be available around the camp, Obsidia, Crafthold, or here whenever you're in need of my presence. To spectate your first attempt, or commend you for the work, whatever it is. Which.."
  235.
  236. Her throat clears as she nears the demon with a grin. "Your runic works have progressed too, yes? Perfect riftmancy, mmh? Do that as soon as possible." The woman's tattooed right hand raises, showing Ra'Kamel the blood rose under a slash mark, surrounded by a pentagon and runic markings.
  237.
  238. "This tattoo is a symbol marked by Nyphadora. The runes in my skin are rift runes. Continue to work, perfect the art, advance your runic techniques, and one day we can create this to place on allies for summoning them from anywhereon Agartha. It's a useful tool, especially if you're marking associates who don't know the arts we do!"
  239.
  240. She nods, keeping her hand up towards him to inspect it! The woman's head tilts towards Zephixo. The dryad was a blank slate, now fixed up on working towards riftmancy alongside her. What else would be reasonable for him to learn? Hmm..
  241.
  242. "Zephixo, besides Riftmancy, is there anything specific you'd like to learn yourself? A craft? Another ability? I'd like to help the both of you however I can in becoming more powerful."
  243. (Aspen)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. [19:21] The demon gave a stern nod. If the Archon had decided to pursuit against Dawn then eventually it would lead Ra'Kamel to do so as well. " Then when the time is right I will take action against Dawn. For now Gehenna is my ever foreboding enemy. However they will not survive the next assault on their home That is for certain." As the demon motioned back towards the Dryad it would be lost in their own thoughts paying little attention to the other two.
  247.
  248. It needed more power. A lot more power, If it would be able to master the power of Death and the rift then it first needed the power it had once lost
  249.
  250. A glance was given as the rose colored markings were displayed and a slight nod as it studied them in curiosity. " I'll be learning these runes directly from the source, Nyphadora has agreed to teach me what she knows when I become Archon. " The demo left it at that while learning form Nyphadora would have been a great achievement what really wanted was to learn form the shadow that lingered ever so elusively behind the demonic fairy.
  251.
  252. " Well if that's all that there is to the lessons I'll be going. I've got new leads I need to track down. Could you send me back to the Front lines? If you have a marker there. "
  253. (Ra'Kamel)
  254. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  255.
  256. [19:25] Taking notice upon the grin flashed at him, a faint chuckle emitted from his lips before returning the nod. It seemed that the demon next to him was quite the talker, questionnaire, and.. Well, it just wanted to hurry up and learn all of this so it could return to the Void. Understandable. Yet, like Aspen said.. They should be careful.
  257.
  258. He was curious to know to know what events caused Aspen to become an enemy of Dawn, though. A topic for later. He would nod once more in recognition of the task on reclaiming Gehenna and what not. One would think he had a problem with that, but he really didn't. He held no connection to that place anymore.
  259.
  260. He seemed to drift into his own mind as she addressed Ra'Kamel some more. Since Zephixo hadn't exactly asked any questions or anything like that, he figured most of this talk was centered towards the demon. Well, the talk giving advice and what not. Yet, the Dryad did hear his name being called.
  261.
  262. Snapping out of it immediately, he'd look towards Aspen. Anything else he would like to learn? Tapping his chin for a second, the Dryad would shrug. He hadn't really thought about it.
  263.
  264. "Mm.. I don't know. When I was younger, I was more into arcane magic. Y'know, Chaos and what not. Maybe might even delve into nature a bit more seriously.. I'll think on that and get back to you."
  265.
  266. He'd look over towards the demon, seeing as it felt the need to go. He'd simply nod towards it before looking back to Aspen.
  267. (Zephixo)
  268. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  269.
  270. [19:33] "Aye, so be it then. I wish you luck in those endeavors for the knowledge she possesses to bestow on you, Ra'Kamel." A soft tone of voice, grinning widely towards the statement about Nyphadora's teachings. She, too, had yet to discover the knowledge of the fae regarding the void. Soon enough, if she could spot her in the proximity of Crafthold, that lesson may commence.
  271.
  272. Aspen was eager for it.
  273.
  274. However, again she speaks up- "I've no point there yet, but we all can return to Crafthold and travel together to the frontlines. Zephixo has yet to see it and I need to establish a remembrance for marking it."
  275.
  276. With that, her head turns again, acknowledging Zeph. "Do so then."
  277.
  278. There time was done now. The lesson was over. Hopefully they paid perfect attention and could remember all that she'd taught them!
  279.
  280. "So, all of us to Crafthold, then the camp?"
  281. (Aspen)
