  13. Physical Appearance
  14. This section will request information pertaining to your character's looks and physical presence.
  15. Height
  16. 5 feet, 8 inches (1.72 meters)
  17. Build (muscular, chubby, toned etc.)
  18. Toned
  19. Hair (color, length, style, etc.)
  20. Short, bob-cut, dark brown/black
  21. Eye Color
  22. Teal
  23. Complexion (color, freckles, apparent age, etc.)
  24. Apparent age is early 30s(actual 43), brown skin
  25. Do you have any scars? If so, how did you get them?
  26. Scar on left arm - my arm was cut off above elbow, but it healed cleanly, so it's only a small scar. Smaller scars on chest and back, vague battle wounds - you can't traipse around for twenty years and avoid every arrow.
  27. Do you have any tattoos, piercings, or body modifications? If so, where, with/of what, and what do they represent/do for you?
  28. Tattoo across the inside of my left breast - a simple square closed lock in solid black. It represents my dedication to Abadar as a paladin; his symbol is a key, and while I am free to love who I chose, my heart is 'locked' to forces of evil, tyranny, and anarchy.
  29. What armaments and gear do you typically carry with you?
  30. Armor, scale mail, half-greaves, cavalry helmet (Theilenhofen); weapons, javelins (anywhere from 3 to 9), scimitar; gear, silver holy symbol, tindertwigs, ink, pen, parchment (x5), candles (x5), hunting horn, whetstone, bedroll, grappling hook, rope (50 ft), waterskin, signet ring
  31. How do you typically dress?
  32. Normally, I tend to wear my armor - that way people will recognize me as a paladin. But under my armor, my normal clothes are olive green pants with wide legs that can be tucked into brown leather boots, as well as a matching shirt. This compliments my Tyrian purple cape, and the gold of my armor.
  33. How much care do you put into your appearance on a normal day? On a special occasion?
  34. On a normal day not that much, aside from basic hygiene. The bare minimum I go for is to not look sloppy. I'm not going out to be gawked at - I know the golden armor gives a different impression, but it's a uniform of sorts. I want to be treated as a paladin, not a doll. On a more special occasion, there's more care because I know my looks are important then, and it can be a little fun - I wear some jewelry, arrange my hair a little, wear small amount of makeup, and bring out some finer clothes - perhaps a dress...
  35. What is your favorite aspect of your own appearance?
  36. Well, I would say my muscles, but those aren't always easy to see. Let's just say my eyes - I feel they're a pleasing, somewhat unique color.
  37. Background Information
  38. This section will ask questions regarding your character's past, family, and relationships.
  39.
  40. If you feel any of the questions do not apply to your character, reply "n/a" or leave the question blank.
  41. Aliases
  42. Occupation
  43. Paladin - as a paladin of Abadar, technically she may serve as a laywer
  44. Birthplace & Birthdate
  45. Kherstopolis
  46. What is your social standing like?
  47. I am the daughter of a pair of half-elven nobles, a part of a larger empire. They are not high-ranking, but own a fair amount of farmland, and we are not far from the coast, with access to sea trade for luxury goods, so we are not just country farmers.
  48. Who are/were your parents? (names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
  49. My father and mother are both...the term we use is kephale, but I believe a more familiar equivalent is that of baron. They are rather settled people, not too interested in the outside world beyond trade. They're both most happy that most of their children stay so close, and that there's peace.
  50. Father, more than anyone in our family, has a temper, but it is fortunately not a quick one. He's had decades to learn patience, with children and his duties, though when he does grow angry it is wrathful and hard to soothe. He wears fairly modest clothing, not wanting to seem like poorer men scrabbling to look like those richer - plain, but rich clothing, with a gold circlet. When he was younger he served in the military, but he only uses his bow for target shooting now.
  51. Mother was born and raised in our empire, but her mother was from some other land, and some of it shows. She had some copper in her brown hair, where ours was dark alone; my father and siblings had brown eyes, while only my mother and I had teal. She encouraged my freedom the most, and assuaged my father's unhappiness and helped gain his blessing when I wished to become a paladin - though I do think she was a little disappointed that I did not take after her artistic side as strongly. I've never seen her hold a weapon, but older men say she acted as my father's shieldbearer when they were younger. I've never seen her act as a warrior; she's settled comfortably into a sort of regal, motherly grace.
  52. Do you have any siblings? Who are/were they?(names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
  53. I have three older siblings - all boys. My eldest brother was always groomed as the inheritor of father's position, and seems to have settled in as something of a magistrate until father and mother pass on. A little too easy to agree to whatever is asked of him, but he takes his job seriously enough to avoid the worst excesses.
  54. The second eldest brother was drawn towards the clergy, but unlike myself delved far farther into religion alone. He's a presbyter of sorts. He tries to act much older than he is, even growing a beard and streaking it grey to look more wise. He can be charismatic when giving advice in private, but much prefers his books.
  55. The third brother went down a martial path, and that alone. Even as a child, he was impatient with books, seeking excitement, especially by hiding my books everywhere. Being a third son has little prospects at home, and he fell in love with tales of glory and adventure. He gathered some volunteers, hired some mercenaries, and set off to be a military leader, fighting frontier battles. He comes home fairly regularly, but Father's not always happy with this - he thinks my brother's a gloryhound at best, and does not like the rumors and foreignness my brother brings back home. He still loves our family though, that much is certain.
  56. Do you have any mentors? Who are/were they?
  57. I had childhood teachers, yes, but none of them particularly stood out - well, aside from the battlemaster, but that was mostly because he did not want me there. I wanted to punch him a few times when he went on about men's work.
  58. Do you have any friends? Who are/were they?
  59. Aside from the stablehand, no - and that was years ago. I spend a fair amount of time travelling, and as a child I was still a noble's daughter - friendly as most might be, it is hard to ignore that.
  60. Do you have any romantic interests? Who are/were they?
  61. Ah...there was a stablehand, when I was younger. A tiefling boy, but you wouldn't know it if you didn't know where to look. He was kind, gentle - we'd played together sometimes as children, so it's not as if we didn't know each other. It wasn't very serious - we were both fairly young, and neither of us really wanted...more yet.
  62. Is there any criminal activity in your past? If so, what?
  63. Aside from childhood punishments? Nothing, except what criminal activity I've stopped.
  64. How much schooling or training have you received?
  65. I had a fair amount of tutorship - from priests and lawmen, mostly, but also court ladies who taught me etiquette and the rules of nobility. I had to beg a little to be included with my brothers on lessons in tactics and weaponry.
  66. How would you describe your childhood in general?
  67. It was a happy time - I was given a large amount of freedom, as long as I kept up with my studies and didn't do anything disgraceful. Though aside from the occasional fair or travelers, life was quiet - our lands were something more of a small fort, and with no war, there was little else but farming and trade.
  68. What would you consider the most important moment of your life so far?
  69. Depressing as it may be, the time when I lost my arm. It was both a bitter blow that shook my faith, but also a reaffirmation of who I was as a paladin and a person. Before, you could say I was just wandering through life - losing my arm gave me a strong purpose and a desire to follow my goals again.
  70. What is your greatest regret of your life so far?
  71. Possibly falling in with that last party of adventurers. We were only together a short time, but they were a strange lot. I ended up with less money than I started with, and little else to show for it than wasted time and one arm less.
  72. How did you fall into your current line of work/adventures?
  73. I chose it for myself - I loved the law, but also wished to travel and make it fair for everyone, and I wasn't afraid to fight for what I believed in. I had a firm faith, but unlike one of my brothers, I could not settle for simply being a priest. I began to prepare to become a paladin in my early twenties. My father was not happy with me leaving, but he expected I would not be happy at home, and hoped that being a paladin would give me the rigor I needed to remain a good person.
  74. Personality/Beliefs
  75. This section will ask questions about your characters mental faculties, emotions, and personal beliefs.
  76. Optimist or pessimist?
  77. Optimist
  78. Introvert or extrovert?
  79. Extroverted, but keeps some parts of herself hidden
  80. Spontaneous or planner?
  81. Planner
  82. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
  83. With those I don't no, I tend to try and keep my distance - if they insult me, my abilities, or my arm, I can't say I'll remain very polite for long. It has started a few fights, though they always threw the first punch, I swear. But friends, if I can make them in my travels, enjoy a bit more patience from me, and I'm not as afraid to be open with them.
  84. Do you tend to argue with people or avoid conflict? Why?
  85. Of course I argue with people! How am I supposed to give advice, or make sure my opinion is heard, if I just let everyone do what they want without saying anything? I'll bow to good sense and reason, but a general should not go to battle without consulting those he'll command, and a lord should not pass a law before it is decided fair and good. You would not believe how frustrating it is to have someone make a contract without even listening to my legal advice.
  86. Do you tend to take on leadership positions in social situations? Why or why not?
  87. Well...I speak loudly, yes, but I try not to become a leader. I don't wish that sort of attention and pressure - I would rather be part of a larger whole, and able to focus on what I am most skilled at. I can speak well, however, and if someone is doing a horrible job of making a good impression, I have to step in.
  88. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
  89. I don't really like to, no. Sometimes an inspiring speech or something is needed, but I'm not that grand in front of a crowd - I am much better in private.
  90. Do you care what others think about you? Why or why not?
  91. Yes, I care. I don't want to be seen as weak because of my arm, or any less of a paladin or a person. I need to make sure that I'm seen as strong, forthright, and tough. Though I suppose at the same time, I don't care - it's hard to take passing insults to heart, as much as think the people insulting me are jerks.
  92. Do you believe in a higher power? If so, do you encourage others to seek religion/spirituality as well? Why or why not?
  93. Yes - there is a pantheon of gods, after all, the one I worship foremost being Abadar. But while I encourage people to have faith, I cannot chose it for them, or even if they have it at all - what I must mainly focus upon is if the laws are just, and proving myself as a paladin.
  94. What are your positive personality traits?
  95. I'm not unintelligent, I'm very strong-willed and it is difficult to intimidate me or get me to quit, I have a good grasp of law and economics, I am a skilled barterer, I have some skill at creating illuminated manuscripts. I am also a good fighter, with some skill at a range and up close. I can be excellent at motivating people, and I take oaths very seriously - I will always be loyal to my friends, and will honor a contract as long as it does not conflict with my morals.
  96. What are your negative personality traits?
  97. I am very stubborn, but I suppose also in a bad way. I refuse help from others most of the time, because I have to prove I can do things for myself. I have some...anxiety, that makes getting focused upon difficult for me. I am not very good at taking insult. While I can be diplomatic, I can also be fairly brash, and that may make a bad impression.
  98. What is the one things about yourself you are most proud of? Why?
  99. I'm proud that I'm still a paladin, and I haven't given up on myself.
  100. What do you perceive as your greatest weakness? What is ACTUALLY your greatest weakness?
  101. What I perceive as my greatest weakness is my arm - as much as I hate to admit it, it can be a hindrance sometimes. (Her actual greatest weakness is how stubborn she is, and how she has to - not just wants to - prove herself strong whenever she seems weak, to the point that it can be physically harmful or even dangerous. There is a bit of a mental disorder there).
  102. we dating sim now
  103. This section is a trash can.
  104. What is your character's sexuality? (hetero-, homo-, bi-, a- etc.)
  105. Bisexual, though she is not aware of her attraction for women as of yet
  106. Have you lost your virginity? If so, when and with who?
  107. Yes - to a stablehand, a tiefling boy, when she was in her late teens or early twenties.
  108. Do you currently have a lover? If so, who? How did you meet/get together?
  109. No, canonically she has no lovers.
  110. What do you look for in a potential lover?
  111. Strength of personality, patience, gentleness, genuine affection, anything rather cute or just attractive...I want someone that I can cuddle with and will support me, but also won't challenge me or my independence and try to...make me theirs, I suppose. I want to be me, no matter what. I don't want someone too strong, but I also don't want someone too weak - there is a limit, after all, if they're too afraid to even try to show affection for me, why bother? - though I would not mind being the one holding my lover, rather than being the one embraced, to protect the one that I care about rather than being forced to be the one protected by some self-righteous- Yes, the holding is mandatory - what sort of love is there if you won't sleep together and hold each other close, without physical affection? Love letters are all fine and good I suppose, but I am bad at making them...lovey. It is a difficult question, I suppose - I don't usually think about it, I usually just go, "that's the one that I like, there is something about them. I want to be with them, I'm not sure for how long, but I don't want to just let them pass me by, as bad as I am about saying it outright." Does that make sense?
  112. Do you believe in soul mates/true love? Why or why not?
  113. That is a very difficult question...soul mates, I don't think so. It's not as if we are made as we are the moment we are born, correct? So you cannot be 'made' for each other. But people can truly fall in love, and have a strong affection for each other - even if they weren't made for each other, they can be perfect for each other, because of their similar personalities, or the experiences they've gone through, or whatever it is that makes them so wonderfully compatible without having to change each other. My parents are very happy together - I would call their love true.
  114. Do you have any kinks? If so, what are they?
  115. Why do you even - fine, okay, let me think...I suppose I might enjoy being tied up, just with rope. Though, uh, that fetish is harder to enjoy when you can't really have your arms tied behind your back anymore...I do like to be touched, and to touch in turn. I suppose I enjoy a lot of foreplay, the touching, the squeezing, going down on me or her, and blowjobs... I want my partners to feel attracted to me, so I do enjoy riling them up a little. I guess I also enjoy aphrodisiacs - I would ask for permission first, mind! - because it helps...get past all the nervousness, I guess. Dirty talking is rather fun. I don't really have all that much experience, I don't know all these kinky things...I'd rather just be happy with the love part of love-making, okay?
  116. Are you more dominant or submissive in sexual situations? Why?
  117. You ask me such questions so frankly...I prefer to be more dominant, if I can. I like to take control - in the case of men, to ride them, to take control of the pace of the sex as well as to physically be on top. Even in courtship, I would rather be allowed to make the first move - I would like to chose when sex happens, to have my partner ask permission of me, and so on. I don't want to be weak, even in the bedroom, and it will take a large amount of trust and love for me to allow myself to become submissive, to allow someone else to have control. I need to be sure they won't abuse that trust, or do anything I won't like. And if I am submissive...they better not make fun of me for seeming cute. I can't help enjoying myself!
  118. Do you want to have children one day? Why or why not?
  119. Not particularly - though I suppose I could be convinced. I enjoy travelling, and it may take years before I decide to settle down, if at all - I don't want the responsibility of raising children that will end my career as a paladin, and I don't really want to become some housewife.
