Cynthia: [smile] It’s great seeing you and Mo- Sumia again.
Cynthia: [sad] But- I know it’s weird, for everyone. You’re my mum and not my mum, and your daughter isn’t even born yet.
Cynthia: Had you… thought about children before this?
Cherche: [smile] Oh, certainly. Mostly of the equine kind, I admit, but I always knew Sumia would be a wonderful mother.
Cynthia: [smile, closed eyes] You were both the best mothers anyone could ask for!
Cherche: We must’ve been good to have a daughter like you.
Cherche: Now, is there anything in particular you’d like to see in this time? I know you must’ve missed many things…

Cynthia: I didn’t realise what the situation with Valm was like. I hope it didn’t make you sad.
Cherche: [smile, closed eyes] Not at all.
Cherche: I miss my homeland, but I’ve held onto the happy memories.
Cynthia: [smile] …I can understand that.
Cynthia: My memories of Ylisse before the Risen came… they’re precious to me. I replay them over and over in my head when I’m feeling sad.
Cherche: Mm. I can still picture how the capital looked before the Valmese army came.
Cherche: [eyes closed, smile] Snowflowers blooming, the way the cobblestones grew slick with sleet…
Cherche: I wish I could show it to you.
Cynthia: [smile] You’ll be able to show little me once we win the war, right?
Cynthia: Oh! Do you think you’ll live there or in Ylisse?
Cherche: [surprised] That’s a good question. I hadn’t put thought into it.
Cherche: What would you prefer, Minerva?

Cherche: I see. And what about you, Cynthia?

Cherche: [smile, closed eyes] You’re a part of our family too, are you not?
Cynthia: [worried] I… I mean, I guess technically, but I…

Cherche: So in that respect, nothing has changed for me at all.
Cynthia: [surprised] But- what if you don’t have a daughter because of me?
Cherche: [smile] Then I still have one daughter.

Cherche: You’re family, Cynthia. I knew it from the moment I saw you.
