  8. began working with a few ingredients. he wasn't really all that magically inclined but he knew enough about alchemy and the powers of herbs to get by. he was starting to produce healing potions that were exceedingly strong in potency as he would be needing them. He had been thinking a lot with the reccent death of one of his only friends. Thinking over it now brought forward pain. He had failed in stopping them from dying.
  9.
  10. Remembering the first time they had died, with the help of Bell Pepper they had brought them back, but alone it seemed to be to much. He had felt he had gotten better as a healer, learning the flows of life and how to manipulate them to a degree to aid in his healing. But it still wasn't enough.
  11.
  12. With the potions now in tow he went out into the wilds. He had already decided what it was he'd have to do. Checking the traps he had laid out days prior he found a few of them had trapped animals in them. Dragging them back to his house after which he started injecting one of them with an alchemical poison.
  13.
  14. The first one he went to work on was Boar who he laid on the table. He began focusing his energy into the boar as his life aura began to fluctuate slightly. He had no real control over it as he never had learned to manipulate it outside of himself. That's what this “Training” was for. He tried focusing that energy to listen to him externally, to try to breath life into others like he had done before when helping Bell Pepper.
  15.
  16. He tried for a few hours on the boar before calling it. The beast had been dead for to long. He wasn't sure it'd work at this point. He sat at the table as he said a small prayer for the Boar. Taking one of the health potions to revitalize himself he moved on to the next animal.
  17.
  18. This one was a Raccoon. Like the boar he injected it as he began focusing his healing into the Raccoon, making sure they felt no pain but they would still die from the poison. As he worked he found he was starting to prolong the animal's life but that was about all he could do with out curing the poison. Eventually the Raccoon would die and that was where the real test would begin. He tried pulling it's life energy back into it's body. Here and there the animal would twitch as it seemed to be trying to come back. But that was to the limit he could muster before running out of energy. He stopped focusing as he closed his eyes. Offering another prayer he moved the raccoon away to be beside the boar.
  19.
  20. He took another potion and went to the last Animal which was a Black rabbit. He injected them like he had the other two. He redid what he had done previously and had been able to prolong their life till they finally died. He started to focusing on pulling their life energy back but this time also tried flooding with a bit of his own life energy. The Rabbit twitched and slowly started breathing again. Their body living off of his energy. Bits and pieces of their own life energy having an easier time being returned but only about a quarter of it was back. He had unknowingly created a thrall in his attempt to manipulate his unique life energy externally.
  21.
  22. Joy went through him as he saw the Rabbit behaving normally. It seemed the rabbit was perfectly fine. Though he noticed he could feel it's presence more so then normal. With out trying to focus on their life energy he just knew where the rabbit was and how it was doing. “So, odd” he muttered wondering if it was just a side effect or just his power growing.
