  13.
  14. Info on requirements, and why 98% instead of 100%
  15. -The 20 cow/sheep requirement can be 20 Cows, 20 Sheep, or any mix of the Two.
  16.
  17. -You must have Gotz construct all the buildings / extensions on your farm. Hen house upgrade, House upgrade #1, Barn upgrade, House
  18. upgrade #2, and the Hothouse. The Hothouse is built in Winter of Year 3 so there's less opportunities for it to collapse during a
  19. storm.
  20.
  21. -Each Power Berry is worth 1%, but due to a programming error in the Male versions of the game, they don't add any percentage to the counter on the Status Menu. You are still required to get them in this run, the status just says 88% rather than 98%.
  22.
  23. -Due to another programming error, the Recipes are why you get 98%, and not 100%. For every 8 Recipes, you get 1%. The problem is that there's only 64 Recipes in the game, which only gives you 8%. The Female version fixes this by making the Special Fish worth 2% total.
  24.
  25. Animal Exchange Glitch
  26. -There is a glitch in the game that allows you to duplicate an infinite amount of cows, sheep or chickens, by using the Exchange
  27. mechanic. When you trade an animal, the game only saves to the file you are NOT playing on. This means you can give an animal from the
  28. file you are playing on, it saves that the other file received a cow, but not that you gave away your cow. You can then load the
  29. file you're currently playing on, without saving, and both files now have the cow. Each cow sells for 3,000 g, so you can make a lot
  30. of money doing this.
  31.
  32. Item Duplication Glitch
  33. -If you stay up all night and pause on the exact frame it turns 6:00 AM, you're able to ship the same item multiple times. However, this would need to be done three times during the run to ship the needed crops, and every time you do the glitch you must wait for 12-minutes to set it up. There's nothing you can do during those 12-minutes of waiting, so it's very boring to watch. The duplications themselves also take 10-20 minutes each, making the run as a whole very boring. It does save ~3 hours, making sub 9-hour runs possible, but it's an unspoken rule between runners to never use it.
  34.
  35. FAQ:
  36.
  37. Why are you growing crops if you already have infinite, and fast money?
  38. -There are recipes that require the special crop from each season, and the only way to get the special crops is by shipping 100 each of
  39. all the other crops available in that season. This alone adds over 4-5 hours to the run.
  40.
  41. How long do runs take?
  42. -The world record is just under 13 hours, but due to certain major luck points in the run, times as high as 14-15 hours are fairly
  43. common. A very good run without the Item Duplication would take around 11.5 - 12 hours.
  44.
  45. How difficult is this run to complete?
  46. -Everything is fairly simple, there's just a lot to do. There's also no time limit for anything in the run, so worst case scenario would have you go into Year 4 to grow a few extra crops if you're short.
  47.
  48. Why isn't the Animal Exchange glitch considered cheating?
  49. -Because it's not; it's an exploit of the game's mechanics. This is probably the most-asked question between all runners, and I really don't understand why.
