In regards to monetary and the whatnots:
here's what I'm contemplating/planning/scheming to make happen.. firstly, we're already in the beginning stages of planning our next show. it's going to be around the same time next year, maybe early november'ish. Depending on how this first piece comes out, we're pretty clear already that we're gonna want you out here either for the show, or to shoot a video maybe a month before. We didn't know you actually SHOT as well.. THAT makes a LOT more of my/our visions possible.

[ By the way, we are HELLA down to do the skypery together and alludat; we are TOTALLY a partnership- that said, whichever of us gets hit with specific visions, the other just runs with it and adds whatever shows up for them and then we mix it all together.. that's one of the reasons you'll be hearing from me a lot when it comes to video projects- I have a SHIT TON of visions/ideas/goals that've been percolating for yeeeeeaaars.. ]

So we'd want to get you out here [ which would probably mean us flying you out ] and then let you loose in the way you're most comfortable to whatever extent we can. ADDITIONALLY, we're in touch with a SICK photographer, James Porto [ jamesporto.com ] who is in love with us and what we do and is hooked up with a RIDICULOUS studio setup and whatnot. We had a last minute shoot this past week and during a break I showed him Apple Tree and he was floored. He asked did I know you cuz he'd like to just feed you stuff and let you do what you do with it. He.. can pay.

are ridiculously talented and we DO NOT intend to NOT get you SOME kinna serious elevation, monetary and otherwise, if we can help it. I think we can all rise together and I think this timing couldn't be more perfect if I'd scripted the whole thing.. [ which I'm kinna doing by putting forward ideas/dreams/schemings like this and speaking them into existence.. hmmmm ]
SO. I think there is a serious potential to: a) at least get you a freelance gig or two.  b) make it so one such gig coincides with our show/video preparations.

I'll tell you straight up and down- If our collaborating works out the way we think it will, we fully intend on collaborating with you a LOT in the future. and we are as confident in our success as we are in your talent. the minute we begin making enough to kick coinage your way, TRUST when I say coinage will be acomin.

The tron video,  well the idea was concieved after Apple Tree was finished and I put it off for so long because i couldnt get inspired by the song that glitch mob had picked out for me, I thought it was a hopless case tryin to make a trailer song out of a song that ...well...wasnt a trailer song.

    So around the end of october,  I cranked that shit out and made it work.   So not only is inspiration needed i think.  Its more about determination and not accepting creative defeat.  cause technically im inspired to edit the moment i hear the first chord on music.   I dont even think i can watch movies the same without thinking, "how can i cut this shit up".

    It has been a busy last couple months I can tell you that.   Its been fuckin nuts since i finished apple tree, how my reputation just BLEW up.   Now i got like Kraddy ,  Eskmo, Mimosa, a bunch of artists approaching me now wanting me to do things for them.  But i always seem to come across the same hard decision to make,  money.

    While ive been editing for free for people for a while,  I do realize im never gonna get to hollywood doing it that way.
    A little about my situation is that ive been kinda stuck in Kansas and shit for the last 8 years.   Not by choice but because its just so damn expensive to go anywhere else.   So while I have NO problems doing this for you guys for free.  But if the video or viral marketing somehow gets you to higher ground,  i would really like it it someone kicked a few coins my way for future projects.      Right now im just tryin to make a name for myself,  not get rich.

    LIke you, i am equally excited to be workin on this with you guys.  Id like to hear from both of you tho on the phone sometime.  Kinda get your ideas as well as hers.   I dont know if you guys have skype but i do and i think once you guys get your heels cooled in oregon, that it might be a good idea to touch base with me again over the phone.   I enjoyed out last talk so i wouldnt imagine that would be too much of a problem .

    Dont worry about me creating or not creating something " amazing".  Cause thats exactly what you are gonna get.   You can expect the same quality of work on your own stuff as i do to my own edits.   Its all about perfectionism.  Some see it as a curse,  I see it as quality assurance.

    The one thing i regret a bit is that im not able to film the footage myself cause i know all the shots i would use to setup badass edits.   Would be pimp if you guys could fly me over there so we can all just project our visions in a more personal setting.  I love storyboards and concept cards for this kinda stuff

    But yea,   whenever you two are together, i would really like to talk to both of you to get each ones input on what you would want to see.  And as far as the footage is concerned ,  I will be using EVERY piece you guys can get,  Stills,  HD premium footage, gritty cams.   Teh variety actually helps in situations like this.   Im sure you will want dialog as well so that wont be a problem either.

    I cant really speculate on what kind of music i will use until i actually see the footage.   But im 100% positive that it would be matched up with audio that fit.

    well yeah ,there it is.  Basically the summary here is that i would like to talk to BOTH of you sometime today.  I am sure you both share somewhat the same vision but i like subjective little difference suggested by all parties.

    Anywya sorry for the long email  I just smoked a bowl and i tend to ramble alot in email,   btw i hope the fact that i smoke weed doesnt bother you, or dissuade you from wanting to work with me :p

i assume you mean 6:30 your time so that puts it around 7 or 8 mine. Im totally down with that.   And sorry about askin about money,  honestly it was not ME asking.  It was my peers/family/ friends.   They just dont want me gettin taken advantage of.  They dont realize that im in the stage now of just getting my name out there.  I totally know you guys arent like that,  or other bands.   People just want the good talent and i can hardly blame them for that.

And well, I dont "shoot" professionally.   I just know the angles and rotations i would film so it can be edited later.   So like i dont know how all the damn camera equipment works. lol .   I just know where i would want my eyes to survey so i can make it look eyegasmic later.    And if you guys did fly me down there,  i GUARANTEE you will not be regretful or disappointed.  Cause honestly 2 reason,  Ive never seen new york and its been a dream of mine forever,  and i think being around you guys and the environment would be a nice new fresh surrounding for me to be inspired in,  not to mention it would be easier to bounce concepts back and forth off eachother if we were near one another .


And the only reason i wanted to talk to BOTH of you is because, while im sure she probably prefers you handling the reaching out and contacting people,  I know you have a collaborative partnership so i wanna def get input from both parties,  even if you share the same vision.

Im pretty excited about all this and i wish you guys a great trip to the west.  If you get a layover in denver,  hit me up and ill blaze ya up :)   hahaha
