19:17:48: <GM_Chor> 3In the meantime, Cold tide and her two little siblings have decided to follow the ship by water, wherever they might be headed.
19:20:31: <GM_Chor> 3Many among the crew are traversing the establishment, occasionally accompanied by the party, to search for usable parts. Some of them is caught eyeing some of the Seafood logos, and is seen taking a can or two. "Hey, this stuff sounds good! It even says "fishlicious" on it! Have you gals tried it?" one says as she is opening the first can.
19:21:10: <Light_Seeker> "It's made with real sea ponies."
19:21:28: Desert_Lightning races over to knock the can away. "That's made from Sea Ponies, so not recommended."
19:23:31: <GM_Chor> 3"Oh, OH. Ew," goes one of them as she scrunches her face in dusgust. The other thinks for a moment, then goes "What? It's not like it's not canned already. Might as well grab them and use it for the trip. Besides, we're not really high on supplies:"
19:24:58: <GM_Chor> 3Sushi and Sashimi in the meantime are happily playing in the waters outside, "We're going on an adventure! YEAHHHHH!" and while Cold tide is doing little to dampen their enthusiasm, she is clearly being under the weather. The other sea ponies aren't in sight for now.
19:25:43: Calibrete lets the other ponies work on salvaging for the boat while she puts the finishing touches on her vastly improved battle saddle.

The seafood is made by Solaris, Inc. 19:30:45: Desert_Lightning nods at Calibrete's statement and starts prowling through the destroyed stations corridors. After all, they could have missed something.

19:31:45: JackHammer is changing back into her armor for the return to the ship when she overhears Cat's exchange with the sailor. "Sea food? Are you crazy?"
19:31:57: rose_bud looks at the mare still gathering cans like she were covered in cooties. "Eww Lemon Juice! You want to eat food made from ponies?"
19:33:13: <GM_Chor> 3The yellow mare snorts, "Bah, doesn't look like a place full of muteted ponies to me," as she puts back the cans. "Might as well go search for a good piece of fabric more or two."
19:34:47: JackHammer shakes her head as she settles her armor in place then looks to the work of loading heavy boxes into the boat for the return trip.
19:35:15: <GM_Chor> 3The other crew ponies have gathered a large quantity of cables and other mechanical parts, mainly from the processing plant, and are getting back to the ship, trying to make do.
19:35:48: Cataclysm looks to Light_Seeker and shakes her head, slowly standing up again and backing away from the water, she mostly just looks very sad.
19:36:23: Calibrete puts the final bolt into place, thus finishing the new Battle Saddle. "So, what do y'all think? I'm ready to test this baby out!"
19:36:52: Light_Seeker hugs Cataclysm "It wasn't you're fault you did the right thing."
19:38:21: Cataclysm frowns, "I was the one who destroyed the roof. It's my fault this place set off depth charges. If not for me their home would still be intact."
19:39:13: <Light_Seeker> "But if you hadn't they would be sea food and dead."
19:39:58: GM_Chor 3sniffs a bit, "Well, since i-it was something just to e-eat us like you said.. it's probably for the best." Her voice is broken as she tries to cope with the whole thing.
19:40:27: Cataclysm shakes her head, "We could have found a way to shut off the processing plant. Or destroy it. Or... Or something. Just... Not what happened." looking down sadly, slowly reaching out a hoof towards Cold Tide again, "I'm sorry. You deserve better."
19:40:37: rose_bud rubs heads with Cataclysm. "You were caught between the Nightmare and the deep blue sea. I was the one who turned the machines on again."
19:41:37: Light_Seeker goes in to look real quick "I just want to see if they missed something and get DL."
19:42:26: Cataclysm gently wraps her chin around Rose_Bud, "I know. It just... Sorry." she closes her eyes and wraps a forehoof around the filly.
19:42:56: JackHammer is moving past the group, carrying a large crate of cables and machine parts on her back. "Or hey, we could have stayed on the ship and starved to death. That would have saved sea pony lives too. Don't overthink this so much, Cat. 19:43:43: <GM_Chor> 3After some hours, the crew seems to have put the ship into a working state.... well most of it. Pillow was going back and forth, as always avoiding strenous labor by organizing things. "It seems... none of this machinery can repair out navigation systems, since we're missing its talisman among other things. I'm afraid we'll have to navigate with a compass."

19:45:53: Calibrete cracks her back. Is it strange that her trigger-mouth was twitching a /bit/ more than usual?
19:47:15: <GM_Chor> 3The mare pets the filly's head, "I'm sure you do sweetie, but then, so can we." She sighs, "Guess there's nothing more for us to do here. We're ready for sail off." Some grumbles can be still heard among the other ponies about "seafood", but it's just passing chat.
19:47:16: Calibrete hops on the ship. "Time to put that ol' Ranger training to use... Here, lemme see if I can help you all out a bit."
19:48:20: rose_bud doesn't know how to use a compass, but she can spin around in circles until she falls over, then point in whichever direction she ends up facing. She demonstrates...
19:49:25: Cataclysm slowly climbs the ramp back on the boat. Soon she's not looking so great again. Sea travel, I never knew what misery you could be!
19:50:02: Light_Seeker moves to see what the sailors brought up take a look at them closely

19:51:50: <GM_Chor> 3Calibrete is brought below decks to have a better looks at the repairs that are being made, maybe she could lend a hoof to make sure the pieces actually went in the right sockets. The ones above deck d'awww at Rose_Bud.
19:53:31: Desert_Lightning gets onto the boat, eager to get away from the sea and the oh so certain death that it represents. Not that there weren't any fun bits, but overall the sea was not a kind place.
19:53:36: Light_Seeker moves in closer looking at something that has caught his eye
19:54:01: Cataclysm just sortof meanders in the direction of the cabin she shares with Jackhammer. Deciding to go to bed early today. The combination of depression over events today, exhaustion from being shot at and shooting at others and sickness from the rocking of the boat catching up to her.
19:54:51: Calibrete smirks as she's taken below deck. Surely her technical ingenuity will be /more/ than enough to impress the lovely mares.
19:55:10: JackHammer continues to haul supplies and in general act as heavy lifter pony. There's sadly too much work to be done for her to just head to bed right away. She does however find time to briefly check on both Cat and Cold Tide every now and then.
19:55:18: Desert_Lightning heads up to the bridge, keeping his senses alert hoping here isn't another storm.
19:57:47: <GM_Chor> 3Calibrete needed to reprimand the repair mares more than a couple of times, that wasn't the way to connect a new command board at all! But they don't care much, they look a bit distracted by /somepony/ trying to make an impression. But with time, everything looks fixed up well enough.
19:59:02: <GM_Chor> 3Cold Tide is still waiting above the surface, staring at the horizon for long periods on end. She seem to appreciate the attention. Her siblings are most times below, possibly playing or looking for something, or somepony.

20:03:00: JackHammer finally gets the last of the supplies stowed and with a sigh of relief, she slumps down on the edge of the ship where the boarding plank had rested. Looking down below, she waves a hoof to Cold Tide. "Ready to get going? I think we may start moving shortly." She looks over her shoulder to see Cali come up from below decks and nods. "Yeah, very shortly, I think."

20:07:00: <GM_Chor> 3The travels proceeds for days on end without much in sight, some storms pass by, but nothing as serious as the infamous last one, and some panic seems to sweep Pillow as she feels a bit less confident, trying to orientate herself just by compass, map, stars and sun. ...

20:07:50: Cataclysm feeling sick, tired and depressed decides to do the most sensible thing ever. Get drunk. Digging a bottle of whiskey out of her pack she gradually drains little bits of it, staring up out of the small window in the cabin on and off.

20:16:08: Cataclysm tilts her head to one side, thoughful about that, "You can eat jellyfish? They don't hurt you..?" She'd heard stories about ponies encountering jellyfish which usually stung and hurt and paralyzed and stuff! Smiling just a little bit, "Hmmm. 20:21:08: Calibrete hasn't had a good chess match in ages, so she decides to join the captain in a /friendly/ game of chess.
20:21:51: Cataclysm gently leans against Jackie, staring a little surprised at the seaponies, "That's.... That's actually really impressive. Those things were nasty, with huge angry teeth and everything! I hope you don't get hurt trying to catch them..."
20:22:47: <GM_Chor> 3"Alright," she goes, giving a good look at Light_Seeker, and prods, and gives it some good taps here and there.... it tickles! "Well, that's some good anti-radiation suit you've got here, for sure. Ministry of Peace model, also in perfect condition, not a seam or hole. Of course, there's also the fact it doesn't allow for body relief while it's on..."

20:41:07: JackHammer meanwhile notices Pillow's difficulties with the compass and broaches the subject of the diving suits. She has to admit that no, the suits don't have any maps of the area beyond Calamari - maybe some fool pony wiped them clean of their point of origin on the mainland, but hey, after a trip or two, they could be really useful! 20:43:31: <GM_Chor> 3Time passes on, and food and water get scarver and scarcer... the ship, however, is holding well, all things considered. Unending days of near-fasting pass, as the crew is desperatedly looking for land... and alas, it is finally spotted!
20:44:06: <GM_Chor> 3The ship quickly closes in for landing, and finds a suitable bay. The party is faced with... a relatively lush vegetation spanning the land, with withered trees standing next to more verdant ones of strange and twisted shapes, with spots of varying undergrowth.
20:44:15: <GM_Chor> 3The capitain gathers the ponies in the ship, "As you all know, we're running out of supplies. We need some volunteers, who will brave the uncharted lands and gather some water and food for the good of the crew?"

20:44:30: <GM_Chor> 3The crew ponies, in turn, don't seem too keen on the idea of exploring an untended forest, much like they wouldn't cross the Everfree. Most don't even like staying on ground for too much!

20:53:56: Cataclysm takes off her helmet briefly to give a proper pony bow to pillow, "Thank you kindly. We'll do our best to bring you back something useful from this Celestia-forsaken place."
20:55:55: JackHammer smiles and likewise dips her head. "Don't worry too much. We didn't come all this way just to starve. The invincibletitanicwillneverdiewecan'tlose has too many miles left in her to end up stuck in a place like this."
20:58:24: Calibrete jumps off of the side of the boat onto dry land, a cloud of sand and dirt rising in her wake. It felt good to be on something sturdy again.

21:00:47: <GM_Chor> 3As the party leaves to brave the forest, save for Patchet who is looking far too emaciated to try adventuring, some of the crew are tentatively aslo descending the ship and nibbling on some of the grass laying around... spitting it shortly after. Nope, this one won't do for sure.
21:00:53: Cataclysm slowly heads down the ramp, immediately grateful for having actual solid ground under her hooves, "Earth ponies should not go to sea." shaking her head as the green slowly begins to fade.

21:12:25: JackHammer gestures at the trees before her. "For instance, that point there is where animals have trampled a path through the underbrush which means it either leads to food or water if not both."
21:12:40: rose_bud puts on her Smart Pony glasses and pokes a nearby bush. "What we have here is a baby tree. One day it will grow up into a really big tree, but today it is just a little one. Also it hasn't grown any bark yet."

21:15:01: <GM_Chor> 3For the ones who look carrefully, one particular shadowed place in the 'jungle' is littered with pre-war remains. Cioncrete slabs overrun by vegetation, a pair of wood houses now completely covered in vines and thorns, and... an overturned fridge with a pony skeleton inside, and also a Sparkle-Cola.

21:26:37: Light_Seeker gets up to the locked box and starts lock picking it
21:26:44: Desert_Lightning feels a sudden urge to fly, the reason unknown he just follows instinct. Soaring into the air he looks all around for anything odd.
21:27:58: Cataclysm nods her head to Jackie, frowning a little, "If there's something here, I doubt it'll be clean, and it probably won't be good. Most animals don't fight fair."
21:29:13: <Calibrete> "Even better! I've been needing to test out this bad-boy right here, and an old-fashioned scrap is just how to do it."
21:30:06: Light_Seeker fails once but tries again in hopes
21:32:18: <GM_Chor> 3With a little patience, and the expenditure of one bobby pin, the yellow cute suited filly manages to crack the lock! It contains approximately a hundred bits, some moldy documents, and consumed, unrecognizable photos.
21:32:42: JackHammer chuckles and shakes her head at Cali. "I admit I wouldn't mind a little bit of a mix up myself, but really I'd feel better if we had more healing supplies first."
21:32:44: <GM_Chor> 3From the sky, Desert_Lightning manages to spot several places of interest amidst all the thick greenery, including various clearings, some sort of concrete long building, and... what seens like a lake! However, in the distance hideous screams, or something like howling chirps, can be heard moving by air, about three flying creatures are about in the distance!
21:34:45: Calibrete grabs the documents and tries to read what they say.
21:35:50: Light_Seeker grabs the photos and bits
21:36:28: JackHammer blinks at the grabby ponies.
21:37:10: Desert_Lightning heads further up, hoping to get into the suns path so that they can't see him.
21:37:25: Cataclysm mostly ignores the box contents, staring off deeper into the jungle.
21:37:41: <GM_Chor> 3The documents are for the most part unreadable, only brief parts are clear enough to read stuff like "...ime exp..." and "...NA r...onst..." or "...ane Sc...". The photos are completely unrecognizable, showing only some silhouettes at this point.
21:38:41: Calibrete sniffs the mold growing on the documents. "This is edible, right? I heard fancy ponies before the war ate mold all the time!"
21:39:49: rose_bud has hidden all the honey and sets about trying to set a Heffalump trap.
21:41:15: JackHammer frowns and tilts her head. "I dunno, Cal. Maybe, but there are also molds that can kill you with just a nibble. Worst part is, some of those molds are virtually indistinguishable from the edible ones. But it might be safe, so if you feel lucky, go ahead and nibble."
21:41:18: Light_Seeker heads over to the fridge to check out the pony and cola that she might want
21:41:47: <GM_Chor> 3The creatures shriek as Desert_Lightning tries to manuever closer to them, and they in turn start to fly closer to her! From the new distance, they sure look big, about two ponies long! And they look like.. some sort of odd mixture between red plumage and green scales, they remind her wierdly of a redjay in head configuration.
21:43:53: Calibrete is about to take a nibble out of the documents, but then hears the screech coming from above. "Anyone else hear that?"
21:44:25: <GM_Chor> 3The skeleton pony in the fridge is wearing a nice brown fedora and a whip. Unfortunatley, both crumble to dust to the touch.
21:45:09: Light_Seeker grabs the Sparkle-Cola "So how did you die?"
21:45:31: Desert_Lightning dives down behind where they will be, hoping they are in no way maneuverable.
21:45:41: Cataclysm looks up towards the distant sounds, "That... Can't be a good thing. Can it?"
21:46:23: rose_bud looks up with the others. "Ah! Woozles from above!"
21:46:31: Calibrete gets her 'I'm ready to something' look on. "Let's do this!"
21:48:21: <GM_Chor> 3Desert is indeed right, and the big almost-bird abominations sure don't possess great maneuverability! They are confounded by the daring move and smack into each other as they try and veer. They look like they're getting more organized though, as they're splitting up, hoping not to repeat the same mistakes!
21:50:28: JackHammer nodnods to Cali then glances at Cat. "Better get your gun ready. Darn, flying critters are SO not my thing..."
21:50:46: Desert_Lightning tries to stick to the trees, hoping that they will give him an advantage in not being seen, or to serves as speed bumps if one does come roaring through.
21:51:28: <Light_Seeker> "Hey where is DL?"
21:52:41: JackHammer shrugs at Seeker. "Probably too low in the sky to spot without climbing a tree."
21:54:10: Cataclysm digs out her missile launcher, feeding a fresh missile into the barrel as she hefts it at a shoulder. Good thing this had a cross-the-neck brace! Aiming up towards the sky to try and get sight on the fliers.
21:55:27: rose_bud thinks about what Tiger just said and tries to climb a nearby tree.
21:56:29: <CoGMimezinga> 13since running from gigantic mosnters is not enough, writings start appearing in frontof DL's eyes "pal, you are so useless that even a level one wizard is better than you at fighting stuff...."
21:56:38: <GM_Chor> 3The monsters foalishly try and follow Desert_Lightning into the treetops, failing miserably too keep up, and hitting quite the amount of branches in the process! As Desert truns to check, she notices they're completely open for some retribution, or she could easily lose them below the treetops should she choose to run!
21:58:44: Desert_Lightning heads back to the group. "Heads up, trio of fliers thought I was a tasty snack, we might want to get ready."
21:59:33: Calibrete checks to make sure everything is reloaded properly, which it is. "Bring 'em on!"
22:00:17: Light_Seeker moves to hide into cover
22:00:55: <GM_Chor> 3The giant birdsa are heard shrieking in the distance in some deformed parody of singing, possibly pissed pertaining the prankster pegasus.
22:01:02: <CoGMimezinga> 13"because, you know, any REAL fighter would have aimedfor wings when they were high in the sky, but you are made of a different studd, right pal? ah, can i call you dead meat?" again, writings in desert's sight
22:04:16: Cataclysm holds her weapon at the ready, aimed into the cannopy, "Sounds like we won't be flying our way to victory in here... Not unless you're really good at dodging branches. But doesn't look like they can fly through the trees, huh?"
22:05:02: <GM_Chor> 3Rose_Bud climbs a doubled-over tree, surely that will make it easier to reach the toooooooooo- She is flung by the tree righting itself! She flies all over the air, landing on top of one of the monstrous red jays! The abomination is quite stunned, both from the unexpected encounter and the hard hit.
22:05:40: Calibrete nods. "I say we run through the forest. If we have to fight them later, it'll be on our own ter- Where's Buddy?"
22:06:13: rose_bud "Hi Mr. Birdy!"
22:06:16: <Light_Seeker> "Just got flung onto one of them."
22:06:35: Desert_Lightning shakes his/her mane and takes off once more. Pulling out Epic Fail he lines a shot up on the head of the creature that Rose_Bud is on."
22:07:02: rose_bud hugs the startled creature.
22:09:06: <GM_Chor> 3The creature has recovered partially, and is trying to shake her off with some manuevers, in a wild symphony of 'cheep's.
22:12:21: rose_bud tries to hold on tighter. "No Mr. Birdy! That's not how airways are supposed to fly!"
22:12:30: Desert_Lightning rethinks and aims for one of the eings instead. His/her aim to wound not kill.
22:16:24: <CoGMimezinga> 13"dumb luck, but you're still a fart"
22:18:26: <GM_Chor> 3The bullet styrikes through, and the bird is hit right in the left wing! Caught by surprise, it starts flapping them more chaotically, until it comes falling down under the branches. Rose_Bud has a chance to jump off before the inevitable crash!
22:22:08: <rose_bud> After a lot of bumping, crashing and fallen leaves, Rose finds herself dangling upside down from the tree, suspended by her tail wrapping around a branch.
22:22:47: Cataclysm raises her missile launcher as the beast crashes through the cannopy, "Here it comes!"
22:23:00: rose_bud hangs there, slowly spinning.
22:23:01: Calibrete can now see the birds flying overhead, and prepares to take them out.
22:23:58: Light_Seeker goes to help Rose_Bud
22:24:11: rose_bud "I wanna do that again!"
22:26:03: rose_bud 's tail seriously thinks about letting go.
22:26:58: Light_Seeker grabs Rose_Bud "You okay?"
22:27:49: Desert_Lightning heads up further, looking out for the other two.
22:28:38: Calibrete trots over to the bird that had crashed beneath the canopy. It seems dazed, and probably in pain from the bullet it took in the wing. Thinking it'd be better just to put the bird out of its misery, Calibrete places the end of her barrel against the monstrosity's head.
22:28:56: <GM_Chor> 3The giant bird comes crashing below the trees with a WHUMF, and tries righting itself, It observes the party and shrieks and raises his wings, one of them bloody, trying to intimidate them.
22:30:21: Light_Seeker uses her magic to slowly stop the spinning Rose_Bud
22:31:39: Calibrete , with a scowl on her face, bites the bit of her battle saddle, sending a bullet into the head of the beast. "That's what you get for /FUCKING/ with my friends!"
22:31:51: rose_bud "I'm OK Light! That was fun, you should try it! Err, I'm not sure how to get down though."
22:35:49: <GM_Chor> 3The bird takes the second massive hit, and half his head is now a bloody mess! However, it is still screaming in rage, and closing in to the party by talon!
22:37:33: Cataclysm raises the missile launcher as she lines up through the ruby eye-piece. A chomp on the bit and the silent rush of air and fire fills the nearby area. What should be a screaming projectile instead flies in perfect, unbroken silence. Until the inevitable ear-shattering explosion at the far end. *BOOM!* Demo-pony is on the job!
22:37:46: <Light_Seeker> "Rose try grabbing on and sliding down i'll use my magic to help you."
22:39:34: <CoGMimezinga> 13"why can't i shhoot misisles too? dumb featherbrain!"
22:40:16: Desert_Lightning seriously considers tossing the rifle at the next creature to come near. "Shut up."
22:42:32: <GM_Chor> 3The missile strikes true (not that the monstrous jay was doing anything to avoid it), and blows half its torso to pieces! The shockwave hits Rose_Bud and her branch, making her fall down, while the bird just crumbles to the ground, in a circle of scorched earth and burning undergrowth. More screams can be heard right above them.
22:43:10: Light_Seeker tries her best to slow Rose_Bud a bit
22:43:38: Cataclysm lowers the missile launcher, "Uh... I guess I made its friends mad..." Staring up towards the cannopy, "Run now?"
22:44:57: rose_bud is knocked off her branch by the force of the explosion, slamming her into the tree. Light's efforts slow her fall, but she lands in a small heap.
22:50:36: rose_bud pokes her head up, seeing stars and little birds going round and round. "Okays... thats wasn't so funs..."
22:51:11: <GM_Chor> 3Will our heroes survive their new predicament? Will they escape the blast from the past successfully? Will Light_Seeker grow into Nightmare Noob eventually? Will the skeleton pony still manage somehow to recover some precious, forgotten artifact? All this and more in the next episode of GROUP 3
