- Alexithymiaa: -Adam was sitting on the couch in the shop with a comic in his hand since it was sort of a slow night for them and he was running out of things to clean or stock. He was settled into the comfortable cushions of the couch, his eyes scanning the artwork on the inside of what he was reading, taking his time and relaxing because why the fuck not.-
- Covet: Eli had been in the office working on comic things for most of the night, since Adam was there and more or less knew how to run the shop, and it was a slow night. He came out and walked over to the vending machine to get himself a snack and a drink. "It's so, lively out here, how can you possibly keep up with this customer demand?" He asked with a laugh.
- Alexithymiaa: -Adam slowly lowered the comic from his face when he heard Eli's comment, glancing suspiciously around the store before looking at Eli. "It's uh... it's tough, but I'm getting by okay. I guess it's just something that comes with experience, ya' know?"-
- Covet: " Very true." Eli said getting himself a bottle of Coke, and some peanut M&M's from out of the machines. He sat down on the couch and picked his foot up on his knee. "Reading anything good over there?"
- Alexithymiaa: -He turned the cover to face Eli when he inquired, showing him the latest issue of Aquaman. "It's okay. Not my favorite, but I already feel like I'm invested so I might as well keep going. This mentality is the reason why I have boxes and boxes of comics at my moms' house."-
- Tsaaq has joined the chat
- Covet: "I'd like to say that someday those boxes would be worth something, but unless you've got something in mint condition and limited edition, comics nowadays aren't worth a whole lot." Eli said, popping M&M's into his mouth.
- Alexithymiaa: "I think I have pretty common comics. It was always just the newest issues of whatever I was reading, but I happened to read a lot so I was using whatever pocket money I had on new comics and books. It's built up over the years. I'm sure my moms would love to free up that space in the attic for other things."-
- Tsaaq: Bliss came out of the office with her iPad cradling in her arms. "Elijah, my love." She cooed as she leaned over and kissed his cheek as she went to sit down beside him. She rose an eyebrow as she looked between the two of them.
- Covet: "Would you want to sell them or donate them at all Or are you keen on keeping them?" He asked Adam. "Hello, My love. and how are you?" Eli added to his question, then glanced at the ipad she had craddled in her arms.
- Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..." He trailed off, seeing Bliss come out of the office and giving her a wave. "I'm not sure. I'm kind of attached to them, but they're just sitting in boxes collecting dust. I'm probably never going to read them again. I'll think about it."-
- Tsaaq: "I'm fine, how're you doing?" She replied, crossing her legs as she sat her iPad on her lap. "Unironically talking comics?" Bliss asked with a smile.
- Covet: "I was just curious, mostly because I was throwing an idea around about doing a Comic exchange, or comic garage sale. Because if you're like any other comic reader, they're in the same boat, so maybe they could trade for things they've wanted to read, or just buy some pre-owned comics." He explained. "Yes, uniornically. Talking shop." He smirked at his own lame pun.
- Alexithymiaa: "In a good way though." He said with a smile to Bliss before shrugging his shoulders. "I'd consider it if I got to trade for other comics, maybe. That might be a cool event to hold. A comic swap meet."-
- Tsaaq: She gasped before smiling. "That sounds so cute. I would love to do that. Can we have a little stand out front with a sign and everything?"
- Covet: "Of course. I was thinking we'd push all this stuff off to the sides, and set up tables in rows or like a horse shoe, so that people could set up where they'd like. The sign would definitely draw people in." Eli said, "I'm glad you guys are into this."
- Alexithymiaa: "Our events usually have a pretty good turn out and this seems like it caters to our usual customers. What's the one thing they all have in common? Probably owning a lot of comics." He nodded. "When should we do this? I'd need time to have my moms ship me a box of mine."-
- Tsaaq: "Oh yes, I think it's a great idea. And it'll be a good event for the summer." Bliss said as she started to tap her fingers against her tablet screen. "I can bring some of my old comics I don't read anymore. Or I don't want, either one."
- Covet: Well, I was thinking sometime after the 4th, that way we could have plenty of time to advertise. I'd like to send out an ad to the radio and new stations too. Since, I can really only rely on you guys now to advertise a the college. Which is where we get a good chunk of our business, but for an event like this, I think we could branch out more and bring in new customers at the same time.
- Alexithymiaa: "Maybe we can find some sort of alliance with a local organization or something. Like trade flyers or some sort of profit sharing venture?" He asked, trying to think of ways to get the word out as he pushed up to his feet so he could go put the comic he'd been reading, away.-
- Tsaaq: Bliss nodded her head as she listened. "Oh that sounds like a great idea!" She said. "Okay well, that sounds like a plan. We can reach out to possible organizations, and radio... Maybe some podcasts too. Something like that?"
- Covet: "That could definitely work. I like the idea of the podcasts." Eli said lighting up "Okay. Adam if you're ready to take off, Bliss and I can take care of the rest tonight. Thanks for the feedback on this idea, I really appreciate it."
- Alexithymiaa: "Alright cool. We shoudl get together next week and get a plan togethher." He said as he walked over to the computer to get himself all clocked out and ready to go. "I'll catch y'all tomorrow." He said with a wave, heading out the door to make his way home.-
