  1. Bees Knees character bible. The origins and gang war arcs with Cat's Cradle as the main antagonists need work and attention. The later arcs are more detailed.
  2.
  3. ----------Origin Story------------
  4. >Wheelchair bound, frail, reads a lot of books/comics
  5. >Has one really close childhood friend and at least one best friend
  6. >Laser in the sky while coming home from physical therapy, possibly being pushed by childhood friend
  7. >Lightening arcs from the laser and strikes them both
  8. >BK (real name still unknown) miraculously recovers, becomes fit instead of frail, possibly more popular at school? Childhood friend becomes more distant
  9. >Fights some other super at school, learns he has bee stingers he can shoot out of his knees, bro tells him to run since the cops come because bro grew up in a shithole ghetto where cops are bad
  10.
  11. ----------Becoming Bees Knees----------
  12. >BK runs, ends up in the bad parts of the city, fights people who try to assault him, finds out more about his knee stingers
  13. >Learns to break dance
  14. >Childhood friend goes missing, BK is out to find her, she possibly went missing or got abducted while looking for him
  15. >Starts busting up gangs looking for answers, wears a costume while doing it
  16. >Leans of the super gang Cat's Cradle, begins targeting them, possibly breaks up a robbery they were doing, spots his childhood friend as one of the gang members
  17. >Eventually gets a contact from a man with a big purple mascot cat head that is his actual head
  18. >They meet in a diner, neutral ground in the gang wars, learns from The Cat's Pajama's that his friend is now Cat's Meow and a member of his gang
  19. >Offers BK to join up with him, things go sour
  20. >BK continues to fight Cat's Cradle
  21.
  22. ----------Murky Territory-------------
  23. >Any crossovers with Appladay can happen here
  24. >Misc. adventures, anything lighthearted
  25. >Bro becomes Da Bomb, BK meets other foes, Dr. Narcolepsy is introduced along with other pun based villains who add into the gang wars
  26.
  27. ----------It Gets Darker---------
  28. >Gang wars escalate, Cat's Meow gets killed?
  29. >Fight with Pajamas is now a blood feud
  30. >BK kills Pajamas? Becomes emotionally traumatized by the whole affair, continues being a superhero to at least try to do some good and ease the pain of his losses
  31. >Enter VFT as a new villain
  32.
  33. ----------VFT arc-----------
  34. >Start off with BK cold and depressed, still fights crime just to keep his mind off of everything horrible that happened
  35. >VFT is the new villain in town, they fight, BK is taking things seriously, VFT is not and uses his pheromones to screw with BK's mind
  36. >BK wins anyway, VFT escapes or is captured and escapes or something
  37. >BK notes afterwards that when he was under the effect of the pheromones he felt good, the first time in a while, looks forward to fighting VFT again
  38. >More fights happen, BK ends up with what I'd call an addition problem, VFT realizes this and decides to eat him
  39. >BK is under the influence of the pheromones again and VFT begins trying to consume him using Maw and Jaw
  40. >Let's say this causes some mind melding while the process is underway; it's magic, don't gotta explain shit
  41. >VFT begins recalling how he himself was eaten by Maw and Jaw and how his memories before then are fuzzy, goes into his life story or whatever
  42. >BK in the trance begins visualizing all this and whatever heroic resolve he had left surfaces to break him out it
  43. >He realizes VFT is a victim of something much worse giving BK some new purpose
  44. >VFT is still connected to BK when this happens and gets a dose of his emotions and memories
  45. >They now have some mutual sympathy for each other
  46.
  47. ----------Getting Softer----------
  48. >From then on, Venus attempts seduction to get under his skin, going out of his way to make him uncomfortable to throw him off.
  49. >Bees could fight back by questioning his allegiances to Faggot Tree from the memory share, recognizing that it's a debt of gratitude for saving his life.
  50. >VFT would over time have to confront how far he's willing to cater to Faggot Tree's will, and eventually strike out on his own once realizing he's being used.
  51. >Once independent, VFT would continue villainy on a smaller scale, but go for less violent ends while maintaining a cat and mouse rivalry with Bees, with the advances being more playful than malicious.
  52. >Bees goes from being stoic to allowing for banter.
  53.
  54. >BK gets into a situation where he's mortally wounded in a fight, and Venus manages to save his life, managing to learn his identity.
  55. >At which, Venus would use it to blackmail to spend time together in civvies, but for the purpose of growing friendship rather than a grand scheme (idea- that VFT realizes his apartment is a block away from the greenhouse he hides out in, and eventually raids his fridge on occasion).
  56. >They start opening up to each other, Venus pushing him to seek professional help to confront the trauma, Bees helping him reform to be less villainous and discuss repressed past
  57.
  58. ----------Enter Faggot Tree-------------
  59. >FT gave VFT free reign to "handle" BK
  60. >Maw and Jaw by themselves can probably only restrict and harass VFT, but would have a hard time getting him back to the forest
  61. >It's been a while since VFT last reported in, Pussy Willow is dispatched to see what's going on
  62. >For such a low-grade hero, VFT was taking an awfully long time "defeating" BK, and hadn't been sending any word back on his progress.
  63. >PW shows up and overpowers VFT like it was nothing, probably after he was done hanging out with BK
  64. >She ties him up and drags him back to the faggy forest
  65. >dumps him in front of FT all tied up in vines, FT gets on her case because there are no flowers on the vines
  66. >VFT is his favorite, so he gave him considerable lenience and agency, but at the same time, because Flytrap IS his favorite, he thinks VFT isn't living up to his standards by seemingly slacking off
  67. >FT's brand of favoritism isn't completely doting, even if it's typically light-handed. It's more the sort where his favorite is only answerable to FT himself, so PW can't do anything to them without direct orders, but FT isn't afraid to crack the whip when it's in his own hands.
  68. >FT finds out about VFT's fondness for BK
  69. >He's "understanding", realizing that VFT's feelings for BK have gone past manipulation and blossomed into genuine affection, and suggest that there's a simple solution to the issue. Just one little thing that VFT needs to do, and then it'll all be okay.
  70. >Kill the Bee.
  71.
  72. >The scene, from VFT's perspective, should be initially tense, an edge of uncertainty and fear about what FT might do or want from him, then easing into relief when FT seems jovial and sympathetic about VFT's budding romance, then shock and despair when FT gives him the order to kill BK.
  73. >PW, aside from possibly a harsh comment at the beginning, would be delighted and self-satisfied to see the start of it, get frustrated as it seems like VFT is swinging things back in his favor, and then ecstatic from the kill order.
  74. >It's only as VFT is leaving that she sees how genuinely shaken and distraught he's become, realizing quite suddenly that VFT is as much a victim of FT's abuse as she is.
  75.
  76. >Stuff happens?
  77.
  78. >BK has to realize VFT is being controlled and then mount a rescue while confronting his demons
