Deiger 5

*Elsewhere....*
*Out in the Pacific Ocean, at early dawn, a fishing boat is out about doing their job of catching, what else, fish. However it appears activity has suddenly gotten slow, but the fishermen remain attentive. The ship's captain remains in his quarters and reads a book calmly and contently. However his read is then interrupted when then something rams against the ship. The captain then runs upstairs and looks around, asking his crew what just happened*
(Captain) <(What did you guys hit!?)
(Crew Member 1) <(I don't know!)
(Crew Member 2) <(I think we might have hit a shark or maybe a sea mammal.)
(Crew Member 3) <(I would have said maybe it's rough waters, but the water isn't supposed to be that bad out.)
*Just then the boat is rammed again, causing some members to lose balance and the boat to flail. The waters then thrash around the boat some more, before then the attacker make it's presence known.*
*Out from the waters, crept out a giant amphibious kaiju with an ace-shaped head and big bulbous eyes. It then shot out it's tongue at the boat, which appeared to be bigger than itself and then coiled it's tongue at some crew members of the boat, then reeling his tongue in and eating some crew members.*
*The captain then reaches out one of his weapons, being a knife and then stabs it at the monster's tongue.*
*The sea monster then reels back it's tongue in pain, then letting out a loud roar. It then raises up it's head and then emits a soundwave roar against the boat---destroying it.*
*Crew members splash about and crash into the waters. As they try to swim away, the amphibious monster then swims away down to the depths for the time being....though now it heads to Nagoya...*
*Nagoya was in danger now....but what was this monster?*
*The next day....*
*HAM is sent a notification about the boating incident and then begins their investigation*
*HAM Mongooses then travel out to Nagoya. After a few hours, they then reach there. The HAM Mongooses then stop by the Nagoya University Hospital.*
(Constantin Kalmár) *steps out of his vehicle, walks up to the building*
*A guard stands by at the doors and then sees Constantin Kalmár walking up. Constantin Kalmár then shows him his badge that he is with HAM, to which the guard then allows him in.*
(Constantin Kalmár) *walks up, speaks with one of the nurses*
(Nurse) <(Greetings.)
(Constantin Kalmár) <(Greetings. Name's Captain Constantin Kalmár. I'm with HAM. I come to speak with one of the crew member's from the other morning's incident.)
(Nurse) <(Oh, alright then.)
*The nurse then leads Constantin Kalmar upstairs, showing him the rooms with the crew members currently being hospitilized. Only one crew member is currently awake, that one being the captain from earlier. Constantin Kalmar then walks up to him and then speaks with the wounded captain.*
(Constantin Kalmár) *gets out his case, then sits besides the captain's bed* <(Hello there. Sorry to disturb you, but I have an important job to do here, and that requires I speak with you. I hope you are feeling better now and I am sorry to hear what you went through; but I have questions.)
(Captain) *simply nods his head in agreement*
(Constantin Kalmár) <(Tell me; what did you see out in the ocean while you and your crew were fishing?)
(Captain) <(It was...it was....it was....)
*The captain the pauses and then finally let's it out*
(Captain) <(It was a giant amphibian monster from the depths! It's eyes were glowing with hatred and it's tongue was longer than it's body! I saw it ate several of my crew...I tried to fight it, but it was no use; it destroyed my vessel and left us stranded at sea...)
(Captain) <(It looked like some hideous mutant newt....)
(Constantin Kalmár) <(I see...) *takes some notes*
*Hours later, Constantin Kalmár then arrives back to HAM base, where he then gives the info he knows to Jeevz and Allan Kane, who then begin to some research on the monster.*
*Dr. Kanedama, Heinrich and Kiyoko then regroup with Constantin, Jeevz and Allan Kane.*
*Finally, Allan Kane and Jeevz then finish up their research on the monster.*
(Allan Kane) <(Whoo....talk about a blast from the past with this one...)
(FlamingoMask) <(What do you mean? What did you guys find out about it?)
(Allan Kane) <(It appears this monster is a rather prehistoric one. It is known as "Doigeras". It lived during the Permian era, back when prehistoric amphibians were among the dominant lifeforms. It was thought to be extinct....but as you can see right now, I guess that isn't the case.)
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) <How did it survive?)
(Allan Kane) <(That I have no idea.)
(FlamingoMask) <(Mhmmm....) *thinks to himself*
(Allan Kane) <(Also of note; it's spring time; where it's wet and raining constantly. Nagoya has been getting nothing but rain these past few days; so I believe Doigeras is making his home there.)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(I think it's more likely that Nagoya WAS it's kind's home.)
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) <(So if the monster makes it back to Nagoya with all of these people still in it's original homeland....I have a bad feeling this won't be pretty, especially given how territorial it is from what we know so far.)
(FlamingoMask) <(Yeah.)
(Heinrich Myer) <(So what do we do?)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(We're going to do what we do best; getting right down to problem of course. HAM members, to Nagoya!)
*HAM members then get into their vehicles and then head out to Nagoya.*
*As they arrive there, HAM then get out of their vehicles and then start their patrol.*
(Jeevz) *dashes, scans the area*
(Jeevz) <(I think I know where the monster might be hiding at. This way.) *dashes, runs down the sidewalks*
*HAM members then follow by closely to Jeevz, following him as their guide to find the monster*
(Heinrich Myer) <(Oi! This is so exciting for me! We get to track down a prehistoric creature! Okay yeah, we deal with kaiju on a regular basis, but a beast from the Permian era? Amazing!)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(Don't get your hopes up to high now Heinrich; remember we have a job to do.)
(Heinrich Myer) <(Yes sir.)
(Heinrich Myer) *whips out Stun Nightstick in case*
*Jeevz then keeps on running, getting to a more desolated part of the city.
*Meanwhile at the Chubu Electric Power....*
*At the headquarters of the electric company, some workers can be seen attending to their duties. All is fine and well at first, before then a roar can be heard. One of the workers immediately gets up and then looks outside to see what it is*
*What the worker sees outside is none other than....*
(Doigeras) *roars, emitting it's soundwave roar up in the air and then crawls towards the power plant*
(Worker) <(MONSTER!!!!)
*The workers then abandon their work station to avoid the monster, however they then alert the authorities about the monster approaching the power plant. At the same time, Jeevz then picks up the distress signal.*
(Jeevz) <(Argh! Doigeras has been spotted! He's at the power plant! We got to stop it before it's too late!)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(HAM Members move out! And whatever you do, try not to damage the power plant!)
*The HAM members then move out, heading to the power plant to get to Doigeras. However, something feels off to Jeevz...*
(Jeevz) <(Odd....my sensors detected that the monster was somewhere else....)
*Doigeras is then walking through the power plant, swinging it's tail around. The HAM members then arrive*
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) <(It's getting to the power plant! We have to find a way to lure it out somehow!)
(Heinrich Myer) <(Oooh! I know how to do it!) *then rushes over to his HAM Mongoose*
*Heinrich then gets into his trunk, opens it up and then takes out....a giant fly prop and then puts it ontop of his HAM Mongoose, tying it up to make sure it stays.*
(FlamingoMask) <(Ummm....why do you have a giant fly prop inside of your Mongoose?)
(Heinrich Myer) <(Because I always come prepared for stuff like this!)
(Heinrich Myer) <(....Mostly!)
(Heinrich Myer) <(Unfortunately, I don't got any bug sound effects. We got to make this super convincing.)
(Allan Kane) <(I can help with that.) *then gets a CD of sound effects* <(I'm positive there's enough insect sound effects in here.)
(Heinrich Myer) <(Good! Now get in!)
*Allan Kane, FlamingoMask, and Jeevz then all hop inside the HAM Mongoose, while Constantin Kalmar and Dr. Kanedama stand outside in case*
*Heinrich then drives his HAM Mongoose close to Doigeras's direction, playing the insect sounds at full blast*
(FlamingoMask) *to Heinrich Myer* <(Are you sure this is going to work?)
(Heinrich Myer) <(I'm sure it's going to work! Giant amphibians, even big ones, can't resist their favorite meal.) *keeps driving*
*Doigeras then is about do more damage to the power plant, before then turning it's head around and spotting Heinrich's HAM Mongoose, spotting what looked to be a giant fly on top of his mongoose. Spotting it's "prey", Doigeras then left the power plant and then began to chase Heinrich's HAM Mongoose. As it got closer, Heinrich then sped faster, allowing a chase*
(Heinrich Myer) *to Doigeras* <(Want some!? COME AND GET IT!) *steps on the gas, drives even faster*
(Dr. Kanedama) and (Constantin Kalmar) *both then stagger back, allowing the HAM Mongoose to speed by*
(Dr. Kanedama) <(Geez, I sure hope they don't get into an accident by doing this.)
*As Heinrich drives out his HAM Mongoose out further with Doigeras hot on his trail, Jeevz's antennaes then begin bleeping some more*
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) *to Jeevz* <(What's going on?)
(Jeevz) <(Oh dear...it appears my scanner is going nuts. It says that there are three other monsters in the vicinity, but there is only one visible right now...)
*Then at that moment, as they drive past some trees, a giant tongue then punches down at the HAM Mongoose, sending it spiraling out of control. Heinrich tries to remain his grasp on the vehicle, but then they slide off and crash against a wall. Everyone then steps outside of the vehicle and look to see what hit them*
*As they look out, another Doigeras then appears out from the trees, peeking it's head out and roaring*
(Allan Kane) <(Another one!?)
*Then, in the background behind the HAM members, a few buildings blow up fro behind. Two more Doigeras then walk in, emitting down their soundwave roars around the city block. *
(Jeevz) <(Of course, there's four of them, not just one.)
*Two of the Doigeras then walk towards the HAM members*
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) <(Open fire!) *takes out HAM Magnum, shoots at the two Doigeras*
*Jeevz, Heinrich and Allan then proceed to aim their projectiles at the two Doigeras as well*
(Doigera 1) and (Doigeras 2) *both then roar, emitting out a soundwave roar, sending the four flying back*
*As Kiyoko, Allan, Heinrich and Jeevz then go flying back, FlamingoMask then flies up, and manages to catch Heinrich, Allan and Kiyoko, then putting them down safely. Jeevz then lands down safely on his own, then turning*
(Jeevz) *contacts Constantin Kalmar* <(Come in, Constantin Kalmar, come in! There are not one, but four Doigeras present in Nagoya.)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(So I see.)
(Constantin Kalmar) <(Deploy the HAM Kestrels at once!)
(Dr. Kanedama) *nods, then moves off*
**The four Doigeras then began to wreak havoc, firing their soundwave roars at bulding, shattering them completely*
*HAM Kestrels then fly in, firing down missiles at the Doigeras*
*The Doigeras then sprawl aways from the missile fire, before then firing out their tongues to lash at some of the HAM Kestrels, knocking some out of the air.*
(FlamingoMask) <(I know what I must do...) *then runs to a safer ground*
*FlamingoMask then looked on at the Doigeras, before then taking out his Flamingo Feather. He then used it, shouting "FLAMINGO RISE!" and then changing to giant size to combat the Doigeras*
(FlamingoMask) *runs in to combat the Doigeras*
(Doigeras 4) *turns around and spots FlamingoMask first, shoots it's long tongue to punch at FlamingoMask*
(FlamingoMask) *avoids the tongue, then runs up and kicks at the Doigeras*
(Doigeras 4) *is hit, then leaps ontop of a building, crawls up it*
(Doigeras 3) *turns and fires soundwave roar directly at FlamingoMask*
(FlamingoMask) <(Ugh!) *staggers, does his best to keep his ground*
(Doigeras 2) *then crawls forth, bashes it's tongue directly at FlamingoMask*
(FlamingoMask) *grabs Doigeras 2 by the tongue, then swings the Doigeras around and around, before then letting go*
*Two HAM Kestrels then fly in and open fire at Doigeras 2, causing sparks to fly off the giant amphibious beast and crash-land*
(Doigeras 1) and (Doigeras 4) *then flick out their tongues together, then wrap them around FlamingoMask's legs, grappling him*
*FlamingoMask staggered and then tried his best to move and release himself from the Doigeras's grip, but their grip on his legs was too tight. The two Doigeras then pulled on FlamingoMask, sending him falling down to the ground*
(Doigeras 3) *then fires out his soundwave roar at FlamingoMask, blasting FlamingoMask, sending him crashing into a building*
(FlamingoMask) *lands down with a thud, then rises up* <(Man, these guys maybe small and ancient, but it looks like they still got it.)
(Doigeras 2) *regroups with the other three Doigeras*
*Then at that moment the sound of something flying in can then be heard zooming past FlamingoMask----Giant Slalom appeared on cue to assist FlamingoMask*
(Giant Slalom) <(Four against one? OUTRAGEOUS! Time to even out the numbers!) *slams fists together*
(Allan Kane) *piloting Giant Slalom* <(Looks like were having "frog's legs" tonight!) *referring to the Doigeras, then readies controls*
*The four Doigeras then open their mouths, firing out soundwave roars at the two combatants*
*FlamingoMask and Giant Slalom do their best to stand their ground, while numerous buildings and vehicles go flying around them as they try not to get blown aways.*
(Allan Kane) <(Here goes nothing!) *presses a button, activating one of Giant Slalom's arsenal*
(Giant Slalom) *clamps open up, then folding, transforming into maser cannon hands. Giant Slalom then fires two baser beams from it's hands at one of the Doigeras*
(Doigeras 4) *is hit by the maser beams, falls over and explodes, destroying it*
(Allan Kane) <(Yeah!!)
*The other three Doigeras then rush up at Giant Slalom and fire their soundwave roars all at once against Giant Slalom, causing Giant Slalom to combust again*
(Giant Slalom) *sparks fly out, falls over* <(DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!)
(Allan Kane) *ejects outwards, using parachute*
(FlamingoMask) <(Dammit. Oh well, at least one of them is down now.)
(Doigeras 2) and (Doigeras 3) *then both leap up at FlamingoMask, shooting out their tongues and rapidly punching at FlamingoMask*
(FlamingoMask) *punches back aways at the tongues*
*The Doigeras and FlamingoMask continue their "fist-tongue fight" some more, before then FlamingoMask gets out his Wrecking Flail, bashing it against the two beast's tongues*
(FlamingoMask) *to the Doigeras* <(Should have kept your mouth shut!)
(Doigeras 2) and (Doigeras 3) *reel back their tongues, roar in pain and then roll over*
(Doigeras 1) *roars, then rams against FlamingoMask, bashing at him hard*
(FlamingoMask) *falls over*
(Doigeras 1) *pounds on him next*
*Doigeras 2 and Doigeras 3 then fly in, about to join in with their comrade's beating of FlamingoMask, before then another fleet of HAM Kestrels fly in.*
(Heinrich Myer) and (Kiyoko Kobayashi) *flying the HAM Kestrels this time, zooming in fast*
(Kiyoko Kobayashi) <(Fire!!)
*The HAM Kestrels then open fire their missiles against the two Doigeras. Doigeras 2 and 3 then try to fight back, but to no avail and are then quickly pelted by the missiles, causing them to fall over and explode, destroying them.*
(Doigeras 1) *looks up, sees that it is the last Doigeras on the field. It then hisses at FlamingoMask and then turns around, taking off*
(FlamingoMask) *gets back up, shrugs off dirt and debris. He searches for the Doigeras, only then to realize it took off. He then changes back to normal size and then flies off, regrouping back with HAM*
*Later, back at HAM HQ....*
(Constantin Kalmar) <(Alright everyone; I have good news and bad news. The good news is, while some damage was done to specific area of Nagoya, there was not a whole lot of damage as there could have been. Repairs will be done very shortly. And as for the Doigeras; three of the four specimens were destroyed today by our forces.)
