Ascended reproduction back up

   We shall explore something often touched on in descriptions of various energy beings, ascended, folded dimensions, and other such "complex" non-biological, yet also non-mechanical beings whose very nature seems to exist in defiance of natural laws...yet whose descriptions also refer to them "reproducing"; a distinctly biological (and to some extent, mechanical) process. As should be noted we will be doing this as a tad more "catch all" so some specific species of such beings may be a tad different, using different terms themselves, or else only utilizing some of these methods, or else may even have some additional capabilities.

  To begin, most such beings tend to naturally reproduce in one of three ways: Splitting, Creating, or Mixed Essence. Basically, "evolution" has gone full circle and the glowing ascended pure psychic beings (for example the Ahk), now reproduce by splitting in half much like many single celled organisms. The second is Creating, a method not unliike that of many mechanical beings where they can craft a body and then insert a piece of themselves, or will a "spark" copy of their own essence to reside inside the new form. The Mixed Essence is essentially their version of sexual reproduction where they can combine each other's essence, mixed with raw power, to produce a new one of their kind. This third method tends to result in the most recognizable as sexual reproduction; but is also the rarest of them all. In truth, most "ascended" and even "super ascended" races can't do any of those....they can't reproduce at all. They may mutate other life forms, creating similar yet weaker versions of themselves, or else enhance various individuals and such...but in the end most "ascended" beings are as many an eternal, immortal demon, or so called gods have put it...effectively dead...but with benefits (power).

   It should be noted that some ascended level beings can reproduce with biological beings through a mixing of essences so long as certain conditions are met; mainly that the two are compatible. Usually requiring that the biological being is near-ascension level, has high energy absorption or transmutation abilities, a high energy resistance, is the same species the ascended was before they ascended may also help, or the ascended being's nature isn't dangerous to the biological being such as being a spirit body as opposed to living plasma. As such most ascended and higher beings have this problem, while in the physical plane their bodies tend to be very hot, radioactive, disruptive to local space and time, destroy matter and energy *for some extreme cases*; although many have methods to shield the physical universe from them if they travel to it; just sexual reproduction like this tends to require a more direct method if they are mix their actual direct essence; although a proxy is possible with varying results which we will get to. But direct exposure wise one is looking at anything from (no effect, just pleasure) clear up to (incineration, vaporizes, molecular disassembly, melting, and other horrific fatal outcomes...don't try to have sex with actual fire...the sun...or a black hole *space/time disruption sphere of darkness that defies physics* with tentacles in other words.

   Typically if an ascended level being or higher does produce offspring with biological entities, and in some cases their main method of producing any offspring aside from essence mixing, would be through a biological avatar; with varying degress of success and results. To clarify this, there are several means by which an ascended or higher being may assume a biological form, these are (and note some may use different terminology), Puppet, Possession, Incarnation, Projection, and Shell.

  A quick overview,

   a Puppet is a construct that they control from a distance. No part of their being other than will power is in the puppet. These puppets can be anything from a talking fire, sand with a shape, clear up to full on bio-frame avatars. So just as with a mundane being who would create a remote controlled robot, even a bio-bot, they arn't really inside it. So if the puppet has reproduction capabilities, they will be that of the puppet's biology. In other words, likely that of the species the puppet is based on, or modified from. So yeah, entire super races could be produced this way by creating a super powered avatar; but they arn't really directly related to the being that was operating the puppet...even if emotionally the operator may feel differently.

 Possession is essentially the same thing as a puppet except in this case the ascended or higher being's will is over-riding that of a pre-existing lifeform. Usually an animal or sapient being, and provided the entity makes no modifications to the possessed body any reproduction will just result in being the offspring of the one being possessed *biologically*, some beings may try to hold a possessed body for a life time and actually raise the kids and possibly even try to get them modified (vampires, immortals, undead, souls in dolls, ect...) to keep them even after its time to leave the body they are possessing. That same end scenario has been seen with the puppet as well, both something resulting in new supernatural races.

  Incarnation, an extremly rare example. On the surface one may think...they possessed a fetus or a baby. But a true incarnation is where they strip away enough of their own power (if needed), and block their own memories to play the part of a common soul so they can inhabit a developing body and live an entire lifetime as that species. Sometimes their power will slowly return, altering the body (super powers, mutations, supernatural traits), more often than it comes back between lives though. Some slight modifications may occur, but usually the offspring of their body will still be that of the biology not them. However there has been a few noted expections, such as the Aetheria'ion, Shadows of Death, and Amana (all races with an ability where possession and puppets can produce proper offspring as the "soul" of the offspring is their true offspring not simply the biology) who have done incarnations have noted that unlike possessions or puppets due to the power loss and disconnect from their "will" (will being a tad different for them than most ascended as it ties a little more to their power than simple remote control), most incarnations don't produce offspring...unless they are sapient beings, and even then chances are more likely to result in some super powered mutation of the offspring of their avatar rather than a full blown new Aethera'ion or Amana for example. Although some of these have later in life, or even as a ghost after life "evolved" into young Amana, Aethera'ion, or Shadows of Death.  Shadows of Death never have during life ascension, only as ghosts.

  In other words if they incarnate as a fox, while there is a chance the offspring of that fox could develope supernatural powers or a gene be present now in them that could alter their future evolutions; they won't be Amana. An Octopus' offspring may become smarter, longer lived, ect...but not likely to be Amana; even a human is a coin toss, more than likely the child they have will have some "gifts", but only a 1 in 1000 chance of being Amana...and due to how incarnations work the Amana wouldn't even be aware of this...granted their possessive nature may cause them to come back, or even visit their "child" in the after life and "guide them" to becoming something more powerful so they can at least continue to play with "their child", even if they arn't one of them species wise. As we can see incarnations tend to make things a tad more complicated due to power flucuations and more direct connection with the body.
