- I'm not one to write these things often, but I think the circumstances call for it.
- The other day, my dog Scooby was put down. She'd recently had some mobility issues (if you've watched me recently, you know I've had to reset some runs every so often to go help her up), and in the past few days, she had been pretty much completely incapable of getting up or going up/down the stairs to go outside. My family and I made the decision because we felt as though it was in her best interest to not have her suffer anymore or any longer.
- Now I'm obviously pretty bummed about this. Scooby has been in this house and in my life since I was 5 years old (August 2002), and its been nearly 15 years since there has been no dog wandering these halls. We lost her sister a few years ago, and I'm honestly amazed she stuck around this long, but all good things must come to an end, sadly. I'm certainly not happy to have to see a lifelong pal go, but it's for the best.
- I'll probably be streaming a lot this weekend in an effort to take my mind off this. I'll likely be no mic for a few days, and my responses to chat may be slow/nonexistent, but I hope you all understand why. This hopefully won't go on for very long, but we'll see. Video games serve as a great way to escape reality, if ever so briefly, and I certainly feel I'll need that escape for a few days.
- In the meantime, post lots of doggo emotes (especially LilZ ) until I get around to making one of her. ScoobyZ coming soon™.
- Thanks for reading everyone. Talk to you soon. PacAttack
- -Joe
