- Overheat System
- -----------------
- - Overheat is the multiple skill use system. Skills which are overheat skills can be used multiple times before going on cooldown depending on the amount of charges it has.
- -If you have used a skill's overheat charge without putting the skill on cooldown, it will regain the charge in the same time as its cooldown.
- -e.g. Swordsman's Bash has two charges before cooldown. If you use one charge, it will gain it back in 6 seconds. If you use up all the charges, it will go on cooldown for 6 seconds, with all charges refreshed.
- -All overheat charge Regain Times are equal to its original cooldown time. (Adjustments to cooldown do not affect the regain time.)
- -This means that with this system, you can manage overheat skills by preventing them from going on cooldown by actively using a range of skills or holding out on some skill charges.

- Class Advancement
- ------------------
- You are no longer locked out of a class if you did not pick it at a previous rank.
- When choosing a class to advance to, any class which is available at your current rank and previous ranks are now options.

- Swordsman Tree
- ---------------
- -Swordsman
- Circle 1 - Thrust; Now has no cooldown. It also has no overheat.
- Circle 3 - Double Slash; Now can be used three times before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Highlander
- Circle 2 - Skyliner - A horizontal slice. Deals an extra hit if an enemy is suffering from Cross Cut's bleed debuff. Slash damage. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 2 - Cross Cut - A cross slice which deals two hits. Causes the enemy to bleed for 10 seconds. Slash damage. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 3 - Vertical Slash - A single vertical slice. Deals extra damage per debuff that an enemy has on currently. Slash damage. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Barbarian
- Savagery and Aggressor skills have been removed.
- Circle 1 - Cleave - A circular slice which cleaves enemies in front of you. Slash damage. Successfully hitting an enemy with Cleave grants the Aggressor buff (raises Crit Rate by ~50% ONLY) for 5 seconds at maximum. 2 uses before cooldown.
- Circle 1 - Helm Chopper - A vertical swing which aims for the enemy's head, dealing two hits. Impact/Blunt damage. Successfully hitting an enemy with Helm Chopper stuns them for 2 seconds. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 2 - Seism - A leaping slash which causes massive damage. It has a chance to stun targets. Slash damage. - 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Peltasta
- Circle 2 - Shield Lob; Shield no longer disappears if you fail to pick it up. Physical Defense is decreased until you pick up the shield. It will automatically return to you after a period of time.
- Circle 3 - Umbo Thrust - ? uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 3 - Butterfly; Now can be used twice before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Hoplite
- Circle 2 - Finestra; Critical Rate buff from Finestra is now a flat bonus rather than a percentage. It adds +10 Crit Rate at Level 1, and increases by 10 for every level. (e.g. +100 Critical Rate at Level 10.)
- Circle 2 - Throwing Spear; Spear no longer disappears if you fail to pick it up. Physical Attack is decreased until you pick up the spear. It will automatically return to you after a period of time.
- Circle 2 - Spear Lunge; Thrust your spear in front of you. Causes a debuff which increases the damage of Pierce attacks on enemies for 6 seconds. Pierce damage. - 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Rodelero
- Circle 1 - Shield Shoving - 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 2 - Shield Bash - 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 3 - High Kick - Kick an enemy to deal blunt/impact damage. Deals more damage to small size mobs (?). (Based on skill description.)
- Circle 3 - Shooting Star; Now can be used twice before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Corsair
- Looting skill has been removed.
- Circle 1 - Jolly Roger; The effects of the skill Looting are now merged into this skill.
- Circle 1 - Dust Devil - A circular slashing combo, using your weapon and subweapon. Slash damage. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 2 - Hexen Dropper - A rapid thrusting attack, using your weapon and subweapon. Pierce damage. 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Centurion
- Centurion will eventually be removed from Rank 6. It will be added back in at a higher Rank.
- Circle 1 - Special Force Formation - Create a formation which brings troops together. The troops participating in the formation have their cooldowns reduced by half (50%). The duration increases with skill level, and the amount of members participating.
- -Fencer
- Fencer has been added to Rank 6. They are agile swordsman, with a focus on counter-play using evasive moves with Rapiers.
- Rapiers are one-handed Pierce weapons, which can only be equipped by Fencers.
- Rapiers are required for all Fencer skills.

- -Doppelsoeldner
- Circle 1 - Mordschlagg; Now has 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 1 - Cyclone; Spin speed, damage and hit count all increased. Cooldown decreased.

- Wizard Tree
- ------------
- -Pyromancer
- Circle 1 - Flame Ground - Creates a circle of flames in a targeted area, which damages enemies who step on the circle with fire property damage.
- -Cryomancer
- Circle 3 - Frost Pillar - Creates a tree of ice which sucks enemies towards it and freezes them.
- -Elementalist
- Circle 2 - Freezing Sphere - Summon an icy sphere to attack the enemy. (It should cast like Ice Bolt and Energy Bolt.)
- Circle 3 - Frost Cloud - Creates a circle of ice in a targeted area, which damages enemies with ice property damage over time. (Virtually a blue Flame Ground.)
- -Sorcerer
- All skills moved to Circle 1 for the current CBT phase.
- Circle 1 - Summoning; Drains SP whilst the demon is summoned. All forms of SP recovery are negated whilst the demon is out.
- Circle 1 - Riding; Now allows you to use the skills of your demon when mounted. Summoned demons no longer use skills by themselves, they will use basic attacks instead. However, they attack faster and with more damage. This makes skill usage exclusive to the 'Riding' skill. SP is drained whilst mounting your demon.
- Circle 1 - Morph; Fixed a bug where morphing the current demon to change it into a new one would not drain SP whilst it is summoned.
- Circle 1 - Summon Servant; This skill buffs the entire party now.
- -Necromancer
- Circle 1 - Dirty Pole - This skill replaces Dirty Wall. Creates a pole of flesh which deals damage when summoned. Applies Corruption as enemies get close.
- Dirty Wall skill removed.
- Circle 1 - Corpse Tower - Creates a flesh turret which shoots poison property shots at nearby enemies.
- Circle 1 - Raise Dead - Creates a skeleton soldier. Amount of skeletons summoned depends on the skill level. (i.e. 1 at Level 1, +1 soldier per level; so 5 at Level 5.)
- Circle 1 - Summon Shoggoth; Currently summons a unique monster instead of a corpse monster based on the boss card selected in your Necronomicon. (May be a temporary change.)
- Circle 1 - Flesh Cannon; Can now move after the initial charge and cast.
- Necronomicon Corpse system; All previous corpse categories merged into to one universal corpse type, can collect any enemy type corpses, max of 300 corpses.
- Skills which use corpses have adjusted costs as a result.

- Archer Tree
- --------------
- General change to Bows/Crossbows; they do not have an attack property. (i.e. Pierce, Slash, etc.) Handguns may be excluded. (Need clarification.)
- Various skills have their typings removed. (i.e. Majority of Pierce skills, now they have no attack property and are just [Physical], even though the tooltips are listed.)
- Instead, when enhancing Archer weapons (excluding Handguns), you can lower the damage reduction based on an enemy's size.
- When enhancing bows and crossbows, resistance is mitigated on medium-sized monsters by 2% per upgrade up to 20%, and on large-sized monsters by 4% per upgrade up to 40%.
- Bonuses vs. armor-types have been added to a lot of skills throughout the entire Archer tree.
- -Archer
- Circle 1 - Fulldraw; +50% damage against Leather armor.
- Circle 1 - Oblique Shot; Changed from Circle 2 to Circle 1.
- Circle 2 - Kneeling Shot; Changed from Circle 1 to Circle 2.
- Circle 2 - Heavy Shot; +50% damage against Plate armor.
- Circle 3 - Twin Arrow; +50% damage against Cloth armor.
- -Quarrel Shooter
- Circle 1 - Stone Shot; +50% damage against Plate armor.
- -Ranger
- Circle 1 - High Anchoring; 2 uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Circle 2 - Time Bomb Arrow; +50% damage against Plate armor.
- Circle 3 - Spiral Arrow; Now an attack type skill, used to be a buff.
- -Sapper
- Circle 1 - Punji Stake; +50% damage against Leather armor, +50% damage to a Medium size enemy, +100% damage to a Large size enemy.
- -Wugushi
- Circle 1 - Zhendu - Enchants the party's weapons with poison. The next physical hit on an enemy will inflict a poison damage-over-time debuff.
- -Scout
- Circle 3 - Split Arrow - Shoot an enemy with a splitting arrow. Upon a successful hit, the arrow will split into two and damage (nearby?) enemies. (Based on translated skill description. Clarification from in game testing would be appreciated.)
- -Fletcher
- Circle 1 - Bodkin Point; +50% damage against Leather armor.
- -Schwarzer Reiter
- Pistols are now subweapons. These can be equipped with a Crossbow, meaning the class now opens up a lot.

- Cleric Tree
- --------------
- -Cleric
- Circle 1 - Heal; Now restores additional HP based on the target's max HP. (Max HP scaling added; now heals for 10% of the target's max HP, in addition to normal HP recovery.)
- For example, Lv 5 Heal: 10% of target's max HP + (201 ~ 207) HP recovered per tile.
- Circle 2 - Divine Might; Can no longer make scrolls of this skill with Pardoner's 'Simony' skill.
- Circle 2 - Divine Might; Effect renewed. Now is a party buff. Only increases skill levels by 1 at any level. Further levels in the skill allows for the effect to last for more spell casts (+1 spell cast per level). (i.e. Lv 3 Divine Might = +1 level for 3 spell casts.)
- -Priest
- Circle 1 - Aspersion; The amount of Physical Defense gained increases based on the target's current Physical Defense. (P.Def scaling added.)
- Circle 2 - Mass Heal - Heals nearby party members. Casts a circle of healing light in front of the Priest which heals all allies inside it. Scales with the caster's SPR and INT. (100% of INT and SPR increases the flat HP heal.)
- Circle 3 - Stone Skin - Increases the party's block. Scales with the caster's SPR. (400% of SPR increases the Block bonus.)
- -Paladin
- Circle 1 - Resist Elements; Now naturally adds Earth and Poison resistance. There is a chance to invalidate elemental attacks (excluding Holy and Dark). Elemental resistance bonus of the skill increased. (Not sure if the invalidate part is correct.)
- Circle 3 - Conviction - Attacks an enemy, and lowers their elemental resistance. ? uses before cooldown. (Overheat)
- -Pardoner
- Circle 1 - Increase Magic DEF - Increases the party's Magic Defense.
- Circle 1 - Simony; The list of skills you can turn into scrolls with Simony has been adjusted as follows:
- Current available skills: Cure, Deprotected Zone, Aukuras, Zalciai, Daino, Monstrance, Restoration, Turn Undead, Barrier, Arcane Energy, Clairvoyance, Forecast
- Removed skills: Heal, Safety Zone, Zaibas, Smite, Change, Counter Spell, Divine Might.
- -Druid
- Circle 1 - Chortasmata; Now a targeted skill, creates a large field of flowers where you target. Changed from a tile placement skill.
- Circle 1 - Carnivory; Now a self-AoE and instant cast. Affects any natural grass around you, and affects Chortasmata from a large distance away. Carnivory now will deal more hits as you level it. (This is a nerf, it means it deals less hits than before at Level 1, but more as you level.)
- Circle 1 - Sutorea-Tropez; Now a self-AoE and instant cast. Affects any natural grass around you, and affects Chortasmata from a large distance away.
- Circle 1 - Shape Shifting and Transform; You can now use the attack skills of the transformed monster.
- -Oracle
- Circle 1 - Prophecy - Protects your party from ailments for a short period of time. Amount of ailments you can be protected from depends on the skill level.
- Circle 1 - Change; Can now be used twice before cooldown. (Overheat)
- Call of Deities skill has been removed.
