Rips out Gaw spine

Kong had grabbed Gaw from behind, almost piercing himself on the last of Gaw’s massive dorsal spines, the same giant spikes that had killed his father. Trying to impale Kong in the same way, Gaw lurched backward with all her might. But this Kong was in his prime with vision in both eyes, and even bigger than his imposing father had been.
He reached around Gaw’s flank with one arm for leverage and with a mighty effort ripped one of the spikes out of Gaw’s back. Then lifting the great saurian clear off the ground, he hurled the body into a tree. The monster screamed in pain, sounding eerily like a rasping human giant, her sound transformed into something agonized and unearthly.
