  1. The empty halls the house stood silent in quiet contemplation of it's own disuse as the quiet pitter-patter of the rain fell upon the roof. Each window stood sentinel against the overbearing fog that seemed to permeate the outside world before one set were briefly illuminated by the high beams of approaching headlights. Almost as suddenly as they appeared, the lights cut out and the sound of a car door slamming preceded the sound of fumbling keys at the door.
  2.
  3. The door was roughly flung open as a figure quickly stepped out of the miserable weather. With a click, the door was closed and locked behind the figure before it flung it's damp coat onto whatever was available before it settled down on the couch. It grabbed a remote from the deep recesses of the couch and flipped on the TV.
  4.
  5. Instead of revealing a random sitcom, however, it revealed the main menu of the video game system hooked up to the TV. The cursor was highlighting the currently loaded game, Pony CYOA, and after taking a moment to dig out the controller it started the game.

  24.
  25. An exceptionally long list of settings flash across the screen being randomly selected faster than you can read them. With an unnecessarily flourish, each setting is locked into place behind a black box preventing you from seeing what has been selected. Shrugging at this secrecy, you press the Start button and the game begins.
  26.
  27.
  28. The first thing you realize is that you've apparently woken up outside. The irritating sound of excessively cheerful song birds fill the air and only accentuate the heavy headache pounding on the inside of your skull. You blearily open your eyes and feel the sting of the sunlight against your bleary eyes. After giving your eyes a moment to adjust to the light, you realize that you aren't on someone's front lawn as you originally suspected.
  29.
  30. Instead, you find yourself in a clearing in the middle of a forest. The trees surround you like a circle of vultures around a dying beast and you can barely make out a path leading out into the forest. You aren't sure, but you think you can make out a faint trail of smoke in the distance.
  31.
  32. Suddenly, you have a sneaking suspicion that you are being watched. Glancing around, you think you can see a shadow skulking in the distance just watching you... it doesn't seem like it's going to approach you on it's own. What should you do?
  33.
  34. >Begin singing Gee, get the song stuck in its head, and then easily track it as it cannot stop itself from singing.
  35.
  36. Stretching slightly, you clear your throat and begin singing a really catchy k-pop song, poorly. The shadow watches and waits as you begin dancing to the song, the sun being your personal spot light. You really get into the groove and work up a sheen of sweat as you practice your sick moves for your audience.
  37.
  38. As you finish, the entire forest is silent, as if the song birds had stopped to wonder what the hell had just happened. The shadowy figure had gotten closer and you can see that it isn't so much a shadowy figure as a shadow that has decided that it didn't need anything to cast it anymore. As you pant for breath after your performance, you can swear you can see it appraising you with non-existent eyes.
  39.
  40. “This tool... it is wild and mildly confusing. But it will serve our purposes just fine...” The shadow seemed to nod to itself before actually addressing you. “Human, we have brought you to this world and you may do as you wish. You will find the hut of the one known as Zecora down that path. Try not to dawdle, nightfall will soon come.”
  41.
  42. >Visit the rhyming pone
  43.
  44. Exceptionally unnerved by the K-Pop resistant shadow, you back away slowly from it making your way over the where the path began. As the shadow slowly faded from view, you finally began to pay attention to where you are walking. The path is long and winding, but if you hadn't followed it you would surely have gotten critically lost on your way.
  45.
  46. Soon, the source of the smoke reveals itself as a lone hut standing in the middle of the forest. The dimming light of the sun reveals a more worn path leading onwards, but the light emanating from one of the huts windows betrays the fact that it's inhabitant was currently home. You can smell something sweet coming from the inside of the hut and you can swear you can hearing a voice coming from the inside of the hut but not clearly. You could probably try to listen at the door or, if you desire not to be a creeper, knock on it.
  47.
  48. >Have a long conversation with Zecora, speaking on many topics, listening as she tells lengthy stories.
  49.
  50. Deciding that you don't have any patience for knocking or listening in, you just swing open the door and stride into the hut. The sides of the hut is covered in masks and other decorative oddities with candle light filling the structure with a warm glow. A book lay upon a pedestal to a recipe of some sort and nearby a cauldron filled with a hot liquid and what appears to be a Zebra.
  51.
  52. “From what place did you once roam? To so brazenly burst into my home!” Zecora asks from her position in the cauldron, staring at you with confused eyes.
  53.
  54. >More conversaion with Zecora. Have her tell you everything she knows about Equestria
  55.
  56. “You are Zecora, right?” You ask, ignoring her indignity at your sudden entrance. “Tell me everything you know about Equestria!”
  57.
  58. “Have you lost your mind? I've already been put in quite a bind.” Zecora looked more annoyed at your sudden demand than anything else, but didn't make any attempt to get out of the impromptu bath. She then muttered to herself for a moment. “Unless my mind has broke... this cannot be Poison Joke...”
  59.
  60. >More Rhyming OP. I am not impressed yet.
  61. >Less action, more dialogue.
  62.
  63. “More rhyming! More rhyming!” You clap your hands together like a well trained seal. Or an easily amused child.
  64.
  65. “If you haven't come to lend a hand, just go over to the corner and have a stand.” Zecora pulled herself out of the cauldron and took a moment to shake off the excess moisture from her frame. You aren't sure, but she something seems off about her. After she ensures her hooves are dry, the spends a few moments flipping through the book before turning to you again. “Alright, stranger, why did you come here? The Everfree can be a place to be feared...”
  66.
  67. >I came here to be the very best. like no one ever was.
  68.
  69. “I want to be the very best,
  70. Like no one ever was!
  71. To woo them is my real test,
  72. To fuck them is my cause!”
  73.
  74. Zecora looks incredibly confused as you begin singing into an invisible microphone.
  75.
  76. “I will travel across the land,
  77. Searching far and wide!
  78. Teach Ponymon to understand,
  79. I want to cum inside!”
  80.
  81. You lean towards Zecora and you find her nervously backing away, especially at the 'cum inside' part.
  82.
  83. “Ponymon! (Gotta fuck 'em all!), it's you and me!
  84. I know it's my destiny!
  85. Ponymon... ooh, you've got to bend,
  86. For your ass I will rend!
  87. Ponymon! (Gotta fuck 'em all), a vag so blue!
  88. I'm going to fill it with my glue!
  89. You touch me, and I'll touch you,
  90. Po-ny-mon!
  91. Gotta fuck 'em all!
  92. Gotta fuck 'em all!
  93. Po-ny-mon!”
  94.
  95. The hut and it's surrounding forest were deathly silent after the conclusion of the song. The Song Birds, if any were still around, would likely be traumatized for years. Even the great beasts of the night seem to cower at the sound of your song.
  96.
  97. “What the FUCK was that?” Zecora asked, finally breaking the silence. You wait for her to finish with a rhyme and tilt your head as one isn't immediately forthcoming. She seemed to take the hint after a moment and quickly added, “Those beats weren't very... phat.”
  98.
  99. >Scalp her
  100.
  101. How dare this bitch ass zebra insult your phat beats?! With a might roar you leap atop Zecora and start yanking at her mohawk trying to scalp her. You reach desperately for a knife or other sharp implement to aid you in your mission, but nothing is within your reach.
  102.
  103. After a few moments of futile yanking at her follicles, she manages to buck you off of her. While she wasn't an apple bucker, the follow up kick she unleashed on your face still managed to put you to the ground with relative ease. As you lay dazed upon the ground, you find yourself rolled out of Zecora's hut and the door to which closed and, from the sound of it, barred.
  104.
  105. “If you want to act like a wild beast, then find someone else for your feast!” You hear her yell through the door, before she returned to whatever she was doing before.
  106.
  107. Night has fallen upon the Everfree Forest, and the land seemed dark and foreboding outside the ring of light provided by Zecora's hut. You can barely make out the path to Ponyville and the path to the clearing is hidden.
  108.
  109.
  110. ACHIEVEMENT GET
  111. Fail at Making Friends
  112. -Reverse a Social Link before actually forming it.
  113.
  114. >Go find a badass pet to accompany you on your quest cause you're a badass druid.
  115.
  116. You've decided! You are going to use your considerable expertise to capture and train an animal of the Everfree forest to be your companion to accompany on your quest, whatever if may be! It's true you've never actually done it before, but you were totally an Epic level Druid in one of your RPG games.
  117.
  118. How hard can it be?
  119.
  120. You stalk out into the darkness ready to take on the world. The warm light of Zecora's hut quickly fades and you find yourself off the path in no time. It is Pitch Dark here and you are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
  121.
  122. The sounds of the nighttime forest surround you and you suddenly become aware of something shifting around in some bushes ahead of you.
  123.
  124. >Throw Food
  125. >>Throw Rock
  126. >I bet it's a fucking Scyther and its gonna run like a bitch before I can even throw these useless ass Safari Balls.
  127.
  128. Those fucking Safari Balls! Just the thought of having to use those damn things against causes your blood the boil. You rummage around in your pockets, searching for some food to throw but unfortunately you find a lot of unidentifiable junk and lint instead.
  129.
  130. Instead, you stoop down and grab the first rock you find. It's kind of on the small side, but you think it'll serve it's purpose. You wind up and throw the small stone into the bush.
  131.
  132. You are rewarded by a roar and a massive beast stepping out of the bushes to glare at you.
  133.
  134. >Morgan Freeman, guide me in Your footsteps so that my voice, which is Your voice, may move this beast to my will, Your will. Morgan Freeman Morgan Freeman Morgan Freeman
  135.
  136. You call upon all your faith in Morgan Freeman and being your prayer unto him, “Morgan Freeman, guide me in Your footsteps so that my voice, which is Your voice, may moves this beast to my will, Your will. Morgan Freeman Morgan Freeman Morgan Freeman.”
  137.
  138. The massive beast stares confused at you for a moment. The rest of the world, however, was swiftly becoming used to your strange outbursts and swiftly resumed going about it's business. The beast, however, has apparently never seen any of Morgan Freeman's movies and rears back to take a swipe at you.
  139.
  140. >Stand your ground, as Morgan Freeman would never abandon and forsake you, and if this is his will, so shall it be done.
  141.
  142. With a mighty strike, you find yourself flung like a rag doll against a tree. As the beast is upon you, you offer up a prayer that Morgan Freeman take your soul into his warm bosom and then the darkness takes you.
  143.
  144.
  145. “You know, most people would have taken the opportunity to run there.” A smooth voice fills your ears and you open your eyes to a white room with Morgan Freeman standing over you.
  146.
  147. “It's... it's you...” You gasp, trying to raise yourself off the floor.
  148.
  149. “Yes, it's me. Not that we have a lot of time.” A hand is lowered to you and with it you are righted once more. “You were brought to this world by someone other than myself. And I'm afraid that they don't have good will towards the inhabitants of this place, if you take my meaning.”
  150.
  151. “What would you have me do?”
  152.
  153. “The magic of this world is dying... or rather, is being drained away. You have to find out who is doing it and how...” Morgan Freeman turns as if to look at something invisible to you before approaching you. He gently taps his hand against your face, but it feels like a much harder hit. You open your mouth to say something, but he taps the other side of your face before speaking with a voice not his own. “Wake up, you hairless dweeb!”
  154.
  155.
  156. You wake up with a start and the first thing you realize is that the sky is starting to paint itself with the colors of the rising sun. And that there appears to be a griffon looming over you with something between annoyance and concern painted over her features.
  157.
  158. And then the pain hits you as you try to sit up.
  159.
  160. “Careful dweeb! You took a beating from that manticore.” The griffon pushed you back to the ground and you can feel several make shift bandages on you. “What were you thinking, you dumbass?”
  161.
  162. >Morgan Freeman's will be done! I know my mission, for he has spoken to me. I must must rest and ready myself for the trials set before me, and bring glory to His name! Then pass out from the pain and dream of Morgan Freeman narrating your life up to this point.
  163.
  164. “Morgan Freeman's will be done!” You gasp up at the griffon, grasping her shoulder. “I know my mission, for He has spoken to me.”
  165.
  166. “You are... delirious.” The griffon stated, a claw pressing against your forehead as if to check for a fever. “Don't tell me I'm going to have to go get you help.”
  167.
  168. “I must rest and ready myself for the trials set before me...” You gasp before your hand falls weakly from her shoulder. “...and bring glory... to HIS name...”
  169.
  170. The darkness took you and you swear you can hear His voice once more. He speaks of many things but you aren't sure you completely understand him or if this is anything but a strange fever dream.
  171.
  172.
  173. You wake up once more, this time under the light of a hospital room. You try to shift in the bed you find yourself in but you are caught in several restraints. There doesn't appear to be anyone immediately in the room but that will probably only last until a nurse arrives.
  174.
  175. >Remain calm, as the teachings of Morgan Freeman have instilled into you. Wait for a nurse, and explain that you are on a holy mission from Morgan Freeman, and that you must be released into the care of the nearest Church of Morgan Freeman, so that you may discuss what he has told you and how to proceed.
  176.
  177. You lean back into the hospital bed, keeping calm as the teachings of Morgan Freeman have told you to. You can hear a commotion going on in another part of the hospital and you wonder what's going on. It feels like an eternity before the door opens and a nurse followed by a guard enters into the room. She immediately notices you are awake and approaches you while the guard keeps his distance for the moment.
  178.
  179. “You're awake! Do you remember what happened?” She asks, examining you closely.
  180.
  181. “I am on a Holy Mission from Morgan Freeman.” You firmly declare, meeting her eyes. “I must be released into the custody of the Church of Morgan Freeman so that I may complete my quest.”
  182.
  183. “The griffon told the truth... but it's not delirium.” The nurse whispered to herself before addressing you again. “You are a follower of... Morgan Freeman? Is that the faith of your people...? Let's start from the top... can you tell me your name? And what you are?”
