ETAPE N°2 — YOUR AGENT FILE.

➝ WHEN DID YOU JOIN THE WOOHP AND WHY:

shin joined the WHOOP because of her father. her father experienced the vietnam war (1955-1975) when he was still young. he escaped to germany with his older siblings, met shin’s korean mother there and both of them decided to move to south korea.
several years later, shin was born. her father told her about the struggles when he was fleeing from his country leading to shin wanting to pursue justice and peace for everyone.

she wasn’t “discovered“ by the WHOOP, more like she discovered it when she ran into some spies during their job by accident. when she realized what they were doing, she almost begged them to let her into the organisation so she can “save the world“.

     ➝ WHAT IS YOUR DISGUISE: majoring in music, helping out in her mother’s pastry shop.
     ➝ FAVORITE GADJETS/WEAPONS: she actually plays around with a lot of gadgets and changes them how she likes them to be, favorite weapon: her brain
     ➝ WEAKNESSES: scared of darkness, stubborn

ETAPE N°3 — I AM STILL A NORMAL CIVILIAN.

➝ SLOT: main: fourfiveseconds; backup: whistle
     ➝ PERSONALITY: stubborn, thinks she’s always right, still cares a lot for other people, thoughtful, people say she has a reversed personality as she seems very cold at first, but once you know her it’s a complete twist; she likes to joke around a lot (but her jokes aren’t that funny), when she sets her mind onto something, she will do it at all cost, doesn’t matter how hard it’ll be (eg. getting accepted into the organisation)
     ➝ BACKGROUND: (what i mentioned with her dad), actually doesn’t have a lot of friends to keep them away from her spy job (for their safety), she was bullied for her birth name (not actually bullied, but people made fun of her name)so she ended up changing her name before she went to college (so they won’t know her birth name). her name “shin“ is derived from her mother’s name “shin ae“. she was always the best in class, that’s why her classmates nicknamed her “ShinG“ (stated above; see “nickname“)

     ➝ REPUTATION: known for her high IG which is around 149 (college and organisation), her talent for the piano and singing (college)
     ➝ TRIVIA: she’s really clumsy and ruins all the cakes of her mother by forgetting they were in the oven, hates getting up early, when she’s really tired, she just falls asleep (even during missions), she eats a lot and loves especially pizza, she doesn’t really like cakes/sweets although her mother owns a pastry shop (but she loves cheese cake; exception)
     ➝ LIKES: loyalty, dogs, her family (especially her sister), beautiful views, music, reading, eating, sleeping, pizza
     ➝ DISLIKES: people who… break promises, are disloyal and/or selfish, bugs and spiders, darkness, showing her weak sides, too much stress
     ➝ HOBBIES: playing the piano, singing, going to a beautiful place to relief stress by looking at the view, just lying in bed while listening to music and reading a good book, going out for a walk, likes dancing but can’t dance


ETAPE N°4 — CRUSHES MIGHT HURT YOU.

➝ LOVE INTEREST: main: Park Jimin;  back up: Jung Hoseok
     ➝ RELATIONSHIP STATUS: they meet in the organisation and are constantly being teamed up as they make a really good team. shin does the strategic thinking and he implements the practice. they get along pretty well, but they only “know“ each other when they do their jobs, they don’t contact one another outside of the organisation. shin describes them as nothing more and nothing less than “spy partners“, until he suddenly visits her mom’s pastry shop. shin at first acts like she doesn’t know him in front of her mother, but once she leaves to do an errand while shin had to take care of the shop, he asks her to keep him company as he was feeling “alone“. she told him she’d only sit and talk with him for a few minutes, but they ended up talking for a long time (1 hour?) about their personal lives and so on. they continue talking until shin remembers the cake in the oven which is obviously ruined by now. she blamed jimin for that (not that serious) and tells him to go already as he already finished eating etc. she also tells him to not come again as she thinks it might blow up their cover, but he keeps coming back once in a week (every friday afternoon) and after a few times, it became a habit. they talk a lot about why they joined the WHOOP and personal reasons.
their feelings for one another start to grow and shin eventually confesses to him, but he turns her confession down and stops coming to the pastry shop. of course, shin’s hurt and asks him if they could still be friends as friday afternoons didn’t feel the same without him anymore. he refuses to come however, breaking her heart.
he also requested to break their team up.
one day, shin has enough of it and decides to confront him and he finally admits he’s scared of a relationship, scared that it wouldn’t last as they have a dangerous job. he’s scared of not being able to protect her, being a good boyfriend etc. shin also opens up and tells him about her feelings and thoughts which are quite similar and at the end, they try it out and start dating.
     ➝ HIS PERSONALITY: caring, shy but can also be forward (forward not on purpose, it comes naturally)
     ➝ HOW GOOD DO THEY WORK TOGETHER: their teamwork is really good, but it gets awkward once they realize their feelings for one another
     ➝ FIRST IMPRESSIONS [HER POV]: wonders if he’s going to make a good spy partner, thinks he’s handsome, but doesn’t want to build a relationship with him. “it’s all business.“
     ➝ FIRST IMPRESSIONS [HIM POV]: questions her ability, thinks she wouldn’t be much of help, wants to at least befriend her. “it’s not as if you had to marry me, we can at least be friends.“
     ➝ HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM: tough and kind of cold (at first; warms up later)
     ➝ HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER: caring and gentle


ETAPE N°5 — HERE WE GO!

➝ CHARACTER'S SOCIAL MEDIA & PHONE NUMBER: doesn’t have social media to keep her identity hidden (she’s scared of getting exposed and dragging her familiy into it)
     ➝ DOES YOUR CHARACTER MISS THE OG SPIES AND JERRY: yes, she looks up to them, they are her role models (especially her mentor alex)
     ➝ SCENE SUGGESTIONS: (what i stated above; see: relationship status) and maybe some scenes in which jimin is (not on purpose) quite forward (eg. skinship), yoon sunhye should make things a little frustrating as she clings onto jimin etc. (see; enemy)
     ➝ YOUR CHARACTER'S ENEMY: Yoon Sunhye: bigheaded, arrogant, wants to have everything, same university as shin, comes to the pastry shop often as her mother herself owns one in the neighborhood (competition), she sees jimin and tries to get him to like her as she thinks shin is in love with him
     ➝ WHY ARE THEY ENEMIES: sunhye doesn’t like shin because she’s a better pianist and singer etc., shin doesn’t like sunhye's personality; faceclaim: goo hara
