- Trivago:
- Your(Laverne) overly-reserved approach, however, does wonders for your jojolity. Subtlety is the name of the game here, even to the strats’ own downfall. There is some very inspired use of the grandma statue here to keep yourself covered, and your main avenue of offense is, as previously mentioned, if anything too subtle. There’s no doubt in my mind that Laverne keeps themselves out of suspicion with these approaches. 9/10
- Much like Laverne, I think Glitch does a fantastic job exploring her assigned jojolity, making it a point to take a moment between each beat in the plan to enjoy herself to the fullest. She dines, she swims, she creates her own fort, she makes fart noises, she even (attempts to) bungee jump. I appreciate the justification in-strategy for most of these actions too, swimming to ease suspicion, building the fort as a defensive measure, fart noises to connect the enemy to the weird most; it incorporates them into the strategy effectively and keeps them from feeling tacked-on for the sake of jojolity points. Fantastic! 9/10
- California:
- As far as jojolity goes I think you do a much better job here. It seems like you manage to cover a lot of bases here. Having a meal, going for a swim, fucking with authority figures, and mcguivering shit together all seems very much in line with you having a pretty wonderful time all things considered. Not much else to say here no real missteps or mistakes. I think a decent 8 is in order.
- As far as jojolity goes I think that you do the vast majority of things right. Going undercover with your grandmother and going deep into a character is a nice way of tackling this, and using camouflage to disguise your statues is a cool way of avoiding detection. However I think using your largest, and therefore most vulnerable statue as a faux-human shield was a decent misplay, as that would be when the statue could be damaged in a way that could lead to you being caught out. Otherwise I think you do everything else right, but due to that misplay the best I can give you is a high 6.
- Dawn:
- In terms of jojolity, both sides did a great job at sticking to their jojolities, making them central aspects of their strategies.
- Starting off with Glitch, every corner of this strategy just exudes the ‘fun’ - THE FLOATING FORT OF GLITCHONIA, Glitch gorging herself in the bar, turning the pool into a wave pool, some of the more ridiculous ways Glitch frames Laverne, and the strategy is all written in a wonderful style that makes this even more apparent. This gets a 9/10 from me.
- On to Laverne, though their strategy is less bombastic about it (despite literally containing multiple instances wherein bombs are used), it is clear that Laverne tries and mostly succeeds at staying subtle and blending in throughout the strategy, not doing much themselves and leaving most of the work to the statues. That being said, I do feel as if this is missing something to elevate it further than the 8/10 I’m giving it. Perhaps more variation in subtle methods of attack beyond the bombs could have done the trick.
