[17:38]	RobinE	Lana walks up to the door to Sally's room, knocking, "Sally? I heard you wanted to go out to lunch."
[17:39]	IcePickLobotomy	The door swings open "h? Yeah, I'm surprised, you didn't seem to interested." She cocks her head as she speaks.
[17:40]	RobinE	"Are you kidding, I'd love to!"
[17:41]	IcePickLobotomy	She blinks owlishly "This is Lana, isn't it?"
[17:42]	RobinE	"Of course," she says with a smile, "Is that ok?"
[17:43]	IcePickLobotomy	She shakes her head "It's fine, just caught me off guard."
[17:43]	RobinE	"Oh did no one tell you?"
[17:43]	IcePickLobotomy	"Walker told me, I just didn't think about it when you first knocked."
[17:46]	RobinE	"Well, now /we/ can have fun. Would you like to go soon?"
[17:47]	IcePickLobotomy	"Yeah, give me a moment and I'll meet you by the door."
[17:48]	RobinE	"Ok!" Lana spins around and walks out to the front door.
[17:49]	IcePickLobotomy	RobinE: Sally meets you by the door a short-while later, wearing a pair of loose jeans and a thin long sleeve shirt that manages to obscure her still recovering body. Her face still looks a tad sickly, but it's not too noticeably. "I look ok?" She asks.
[17:50]	RobinE	"Yeah you look good," she gestures to her hair, "besides, my hair will probably distract people anyway."
[17:51]	IcePickLobotomy	"Fair enough. . " She looks at the high-light "Hmmm. . ."
[17:51]	RobinE	"Hmm?" Lana questions the hum.
[17:52]	IcePickLobotomy	"Just thinking, so, where we going for lunch?"

[17:53]	RobinE	"Uhhh," she puts her hand to her chin, "I hadn't thought of that. Feeling hungry for anything in particular?"
[17:54]	IcePickLobotomy	". . . Uhhh. . . food?" She says helpfully
[17:54]	RobinE	"That makes it easy," she smiles, "that means we can just pick anything!"
[17:57]	RobinE	"Lets go look for a good sea food place, we can explore the city a bit too."
[17:58]	IcePickLobotomy	"Alright, sounds fun."
[18:04]	RobinE	Lana opens the door and takes a slight bow, "after you."
[18:09]	IcePickLobotomy	She laughs as she exits. A elevator ride later and you two are standing beneath the late summer sun, heat baking off the ground with a cool sea breeze sweeping in from the waters. The sky-scrappers loom above you, blocking off much of the sky, but leaving a strip of pale-blue out to where you know the ocean is.
[18:12]	RobinE	Lana takes a deep breath, "alright, lets get exploring."
[18:20]	IcePickLobotomy	RobinE: You head to the shoreline. It's crowded with thick throngs of people in beach-wear. The wooden pier extends long over the waters, looking older and more weathered than it actually is. A small ferris looms at the far end, along with a handful of fair-games. The smell of greasy food hangs in the air along with the sea air.
[18:22]	RobinE	"hmm," Lana looks around, " I thought there would be more seafood places around the beach."
[18:25]	RobinE	Lana smells the greasy food, "I smell food though," she shrugs before turning to Sally, "what do you think, stay or explore some more?"
[18:26]	IcePickLobotomy	She licks her lips "I'm kinda hungry. . ."
[18:27]	RobinE	"Then we stay," she jokingly declares, "lets go get food," she grabs Sally's hand and leads her to food.
[18:34]	IcePickLobotomy	RobinE: You see burgers, popcorn shrimp, calamari, fish and chips, and a large assortment of other fried foods.
[18:36]	RobinE	"Get whatever you feel like eating, then we can go sit on the edge pier and eat," Lana says as she looks over the menu of things she could order.
[18:37]	RobinE	Lana eventually orders some popcorn shrimp.
[18:38]	IcePickLobotomy	Sally munches on a card-board basket of fish and chips, her legs idly kicking over the peer. "This is nice," The wind snatches at lose strands of hair.
[18:40]	RobinE	"Yeah, it is. I don't get out very much."
[18:41]	IcePickLobotomy	"Mm, that's a shame, it's really nice out here."
[18:42]	RobinE	"It is," Lana closes her eyes and turns her face up to the sun, "it's nice and warm."
[18:44]	RobinE	"Are you warming up to the apartment?"
[18:44]	IcePickLobotomy	"I am, it's nice, and Artyom's cooking is good. Walker is nice too, when she's around."

[18:48]	IcePickLobotomy	"It's going better, not winded waling around anymore. I'm really far behind on my school work though." She sighs "And here I was hoping I'd be able to go to school."
[18:49]	RobinE	"you can't go?"
[18:49]	IcePickLobotomy	"Not much point, I'm 10 years behind in my school work."
[18:51]	RobinE	"But, friends are important too," Lana looks into the water, pondering.
[18:51]	IcePickLobotomy	She shrugs "All my friends died before or after I was put into a coma."
[18:51]	RobinE	"What if you went to an after school club or something?"
[18:52]	IcePickLobotomy	". . You think I could?"
[18:53]	RobinE	"I bet," she nods, "its about doing stuff together, not being at school. I think Walker would let you."
[18:56]	RobinE	"But I don't know you very well, so I couldn't tell you which club to join," her face scrunches in thought.
[18:56]	IcePickLobotomy	She nods, "I'll bring it up with Walker, see what she thinks."
[18:57]	RobinE	"Good, its nice to have a group of people to relate to."
[19:00]	RobinE	Lana finishes her food and gathers all her trash, "hey, when you are done do you want to look around a bit?"
[19:01]	IcePickLobotomy	"Yeah sure."
[19:15]	RobinE	Lana waits with Sally as she finishes her food. She makes small talk and enjoys the sea breeze. Once Sally is done they get up and start to look around at the fair games on the pier.
[19:16]	IcePickLobotomy	A few catch you eye. A ring toss there, another have a "fishing" game with a magnet, another has a bottle-toss as well. There's also a shooting range with water guns.
[19:19]	RobinE	Lana goes for the first game she sees, ring toss.

[19:21]	IcePickLobotomy	The gentleman inside is a somewhat overweight middle aged man with a grease-stained wife-beater over a pair of shorts. His hair line is receding. "Ah, now you two young ladies want to give her a try?"
[19:25]	RobinE	"Yes," Lana glares over the bottles, "yes I do."
[19:28]	IcePickLobotomy	"Well, it'll be 2 dollars for 5 tries then."
[19:29]	IcePickLobotomy	You hear Sally mutter under her breath "Even I know that's a rip off."
[19:31]	RobinE	Lana looks over to Sally, "would you rather keep looking?"
[19:32]	IcePickLobotomy	"Err, 1.50 for 5 tries then."
[19:33]	IcePickLobotomy	"No, this is fine." Sally says
[19:35]	RobinE	"Ok," Lana reaches into her pocket and pulls out the money, handing it to the man, "here you go."
[19:49]	RobinE	Lana takes up the rings, ready to throw. She takes her first throw, it goes past all the bottles. The second she throws softly, it barely touches the bottles near her. The third throw was poor at best. The fourth throw the ring almost made it before it bounced off. The last ring, She focuses and tosses it. It...it doesn't get close to making it.
[19:49]	IcePickLobotomy	"Ah, perhaps another try?" The carny asks
[19:51]	RobinE	"hmmm," she looks around at all her failed throws, "don't think I have the arm for this," she looks to Sally, "do you want to try?"
[19:52]	IcePickLobotomy	"Sure," She shrugs
[19:52]	IcePickLobotomy	She tosses a ball up int he air to get a feel for it, before winging it at the pile of bottles, which topples over.
[19:52]	IcePickLobotomy	The next 4 throws are repeats of this.

[19:56]	IcePickLobotomy	Sally happly points to a oversized stuffed saber-tooth tiger. The Carny hands it over. "I think I'll name him Abel, what do you thnk Lana?"
[19:58]	RobinE	"Nice job," she gives Sally a thumbs up, "Name him whatever you want, you won him."
[20:02]	RobinE	Lana pets the stuffed animal, "he's a cutie."
[20:09]	IcePickLobotomy	"Glad you think so. Ferries wheel?"
[20:11]	RobinE	"Yeah, that'll be fun!" Lana starts off for the Ferris wheel.

[21:23]	IcePickLobotomy	A new school year has begun. And you, like so many of your fellows make your way up the steps to the school.
[21:23]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: Hikari chatters amenably with you.
[21:24]	IcePickLobotomy	Arina: You see a few people casting glances your way, and hushed chatter in your direction. You catch parts of conversations, it seems taht your concert was one of the bigger affairs of the summer, and has become a pivotal aspect of one's place in the social ladder.
[21:24]	IcePickLobotomy	JohnH: You get a few sympathetic glances your way.
[21:25]	Mary	is chatting back even if she is still more introvert and lacking sleep then before
[21:29]	Arina	puts a smile on and takes John's hand as they walk in.
[21:30]	IcePickLobotomy	The whispering intensifies, and you can see a few jealous glances.
[21:30]	RobinE	is half paying attention to where she is walking as she is writing in her notebook.
[21:31]	IcePickLobotomy	And all sounds and chatter come to a halt as you enter. In the foyer is a large wall, already several photo's have been pinned to it, flowers and other small offerings resting at the floor, while a few people have taken to scrawling messages upon it. Several other students are standing before it, crying or even weeping..
[21:31]	Arina	swallows, smile tightening.
[21:32]	RobinE	continues walking, oblivious of happenings around her.
[21:34]	IcePickLobotomy	Arina: someone taps you on the shoulder. It's Abigail, her left arm in a cast. "What do you think? Took some doing but no one was really against the idea." She says softly
[21:35]	Arina	swallows. "... It's good."
[21:35]	Mary	looks at it and shivers before she starts to cry.
[21:36]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: Hikari wraps you up in a hug, and few other students start to comfort you.
[21:36]	Arina	rubs her eyes with her free hand, muttering to herself.
[21:36]	Mary	looks at them and then just bolts for the nearest hidehole
[21:36]	JohnH	lets go of Arina's hand and puts an arm around her shoulder, pulling her in
[21:37]	Arina	leans into him. "... Thank you."
[21:39]	IcePickLobotomy	"I uh. . . I'll go look for Mary, make syure she's not alone!" Hikari sprints off after Mary

[21:48]	Arina	"... I just wish we were... a few minutes quicker."
[21:52]	JohnH	"Maybe a few minutes slower would have been better."

[21:38]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: you find yourself winding down a stairwell, pat a unlocked gate, and into the basement level.
[21:38]	IcePickLobotomy	Bare concrete with pipes and wiring run off, light by pale yellow lights. The one above your head flickers every so often.
[21:41]	Mary	continues to run away from her guilt until she has to stop because the light gives to much way to the darkness , and so fear starts to stop her there.
[21:42]	IcePickLobotomy	You hear something down the left-side tunnel. A distant crackle of static.
[21:46]	Mary	shivers and trys to calm herself as she looks around uh.. light.. light is good!
[21:47]	IcePickLobotomy	The static hisses again, no closer, nor farther.
[21:48]	Mary	"Well, I am not afraid of you!"
[21:49]	IcePickLobotomy	The light above you flickers.
[21:50]	IcePickLobotomy	For a moment you are bathed in utter darkness
[21:53]	Mary	screams and stumbles backwards
[21:53]	Mary	fears, its to dark, she can feel the slow morass on her legs, its warm its.. why can't she moive , why can't she mooove
[21:54]	IcePickLobotomy	"Mary?" The light flickers back into life dimly as Mary steps down from the stairwell "Mary! What's wrong!"
