- The moment the question entered her mind, a sharp pain shot through her knee. It hurt so badly she couldn’t stand, and she collapsed on the floor.
- “Ahhhhhhhhh!” She let out an agonized cry and, in a cold sweat from the pain, looked at her knee—which she regretted. “My, my, my leeeeeeeg!”
