  1. Details about building a PBN
  2. I've decided to build a PBN for myself to use for my projects and to learn a little more about SEO (my weakest IM channel by far). Been reading tutorials and content on building a PBN, and all makes sense, so I wanted to list out what is needed, and hoping someone of you can confirm and clear things up for me, what I should adjust in my plan, and if I missed anything.

  14. Get good and clean domains. Speaking to someone on BHW for a few domains to start off with that are TF: 14+, DA: 16+, Ref Dom: 10+ somewhat related to my niche. Can I register all these in the same registrar (Google Domains, GoDaddy, etc), or in different ones?
  15. Hosting - use different hosting accounts and servers. So I'll host one with ASmallOrange, GreenGeeks, etc.
  16. Websites - I'll be using WordPress and use different free themes on each one, with the usual plugins (cache, SEO, etc.). Should I setup CloudFlare (free) to add HTTPS to them?
  17. Content - I'll try to get domains with the same theme/niche, and outsource the production of content for the website(s), to be able to post a blog post once a week. I'll also make some general pages all websites usually have (About, Contact Us, FAQ, Privacy Policy)
  18. Linking to money site - Do I just link the money site URL on the footer for the entire website, on home page only, or in blog posts?
  19. Bot blocking - As I understand, this is to block your competitors (and others) from seeing how you are ranking and not be able to see your PBN sites. Adding the code snippet below that is to be added to the .htaccess file.
  20. Thanks!

  35. #1) I'll register some together, mixing it up. Using GoDaddy for like 60-70% is totally safe.
  36. #2) good call for baried hosting
  37. #3) I use cloudflare or https for about 5% of my sites. I also use old premium themes for sites that I'm no longer using.
  38. #4) content: 1x a week, for how long?
  39. I stagger my posting out from 30days to 6months. Keep it different per blog.
  40. #5) don't put it in the footer, put it into a post, perhaps with another 1-3 links to non-competitor sites.
  41. #6) I don't block boots, so no advise there.

  49. 3.) I guess if there's no issue with getting them setup with https on CloudFlare I'll go ahead and do that with their own accounts and emails.
  50. 4.) For the content, I guess I can do 1 post for each blog at 2x a month then, and post them to go live in different days/times.
  51. 5.) I'll do that then, and do something like tools for businesses, and add my link plus others who aren't competitors, or some reviews, etc. and make the links on there look more natural that way.
