- Mainland of Rather Excellent Kerbafrica:
- 1778: The six original colonial city-states: Silverware, New Yerk, Hubbleland, Carolino, Round Island, and Celibinia, unite under a common federal government. To maintain independence, they fight off the Really Great British army and take east Kerbafrica for themselves.
- 1803: The Kerbafrican Purchase was made to purchase the rest of the landmass from the Wrench, gets most of the rest of its 18 states.
- 1860: Turns out Mystery Goo canisters, while terrific for doing manual agricultural labor, have feelings. What ensues was a massive fight between the agriculture-rich southern city-states and the more industrial northern city-states about whether or not Mystery Goo canisters deserve rights. Because trains or something, the north won the fight.
- 1917: The MREKa joins the battle of Totally Terrestrial War 1. And helps to win.
- 1920s: Hooray, things are great!
- 1930s: Damn, things suck.
- 1941: MREKa joins TTII.
- 1945: TTII ends, Wernher von Kerman and his team defect to MREKa and join the fledgling rocketry community.
- 1950s and 1960s: MREKa and the soviets have a space race.
- 2001 (?): Game start.
