Responsibilities include:
•	Leads security design of Identity and Access Management technologies.  This includes implementation, reporting, monitoring and documentation of procedures.
•	Provides support for Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies, Identity and Access Management technologies, Cloud security and governance technologies , Vulnerability and Management technologies and Log collection and SIEM technologies. This includes design, implementation, reporting, monitoring and documentation of procedures.
•	Security Architecture activities are focused on ensuring that the proper tools and technologies are deployed to support the organization’s cybersecurity efforts.
•	The Security Engineer is the in-house expert on application related security controls (e.g., SOC 1/2 , SIG, etc.).
•	Researches, implements, and supports new and/or required security technologies as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
•	Actively seeks proficiency in information security and shows aptitude to master techniques and technologies such as application security, cryptography, threat modeling, penetration testing, etc.
•	Experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows, and database concepts.
•	Experience with cloud infrastructure provider services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
•	Experience with PowerShell or Python is desirable.
•	Practical experience with Identity and Access Management and exposure to other aspects of computer security such as: network security, system or application security, security protocols, cryptography.
•	Must be familiar with web and application server technologies.
•	Ability to work on their own and in a team environment.
•	Ability to comprehend installation/technical manuals.
•	Must have very intuitive troubleshooting skills to look at the broad picture (i.e. consider network, server, and client when investigating incidents).

Minimum Education and/or experience required:
•	Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university in a computer related field and 2+ years of experience with security products (i.e.  Antivirus, Firewalls, Web Filtering, etc.), and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•	Two to three years’ experience with Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service cloud technologies.
•	Experienced in host, network and application security.
•	Familiarity with large Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
•	Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (CloudTrail, AWS Config, etc.), cloud-security technologies (VPC, Security Groups, etc.) and cloud-permission systems (IAM).
