  1. first thing in the morning:
  2. wake up, make coffee or tea
  3. while that's being made, clean something. I stop when the coffee's ready, just passing the time, so it's not so bad
  4.
  5. after coffee/tea is all done:
  6. do something relaxing: watch short youtube videos, take a bath/shower, browse any social media or blog that's relaxing. could go into early afternoon depending on when I'm up/how stressed I am
  7.
  8. when I feel relaxed enough:
  9. do something new that requires focus. could be work. could be something creative. on a day I want to relax could be something like reading. Just something to break up the day so I feel like I did something cool that day, or in the case of work, so I feel like I'm on top of the situations
  10.
  11. when I'm ready to wind down again:
  12. dim lights
  13. watch the sunset, always
  14. start to unwind: I usually try to watch something different from the morning, these days something longer form like a movie or longer TV show
  15.
  16. before I get too tired:
  17. make sure everything's safe and most lights are off, brush my teeth, stuff I shouldn't forget
  18.
  19. when I feel tired enough to maybe sleep:
  20. skincare- I try to do something, it really helps me relax and signals "now it's time for bed"
  21. aromatherapy- usually I spritz on some kind of relaxing perfume or room spray to help me relax
  22. go to bed- I lay in bed browsing relaxing things on my phone or talking to friends with dim light, don't try to force sleep at all. turn off light when I'm ready.
