  1. I first met up with Yuuka in the temple in order to get a very quick understanding of what to do, her telling me "Whatever you want," and then me instantly moving over to the Scarlet Devil mansion. This isn't my first visit to Gensokyo or the mansion so there's not much in the way of proper "initialization" needed for me to get into the swings of interacting with the world. Unfortunately my mind was preoccupied with everything but interacting, more worried about wondering the answers to questions related to the structure of Gensokyo and the reasoning behind having these sorts of visitations as a group. I interacted with Remilia and Sakuya, and a bit with Yuuka. The interaction with Sakuya and Yuuka wasn't anything significant, more of formalities and wonderment over what exactly I need or require of them, or what they need or want from me. The answer is nothing other than a short explanation of how I understand and see the universe. With Remilia however it was more along the lines of me being distrustful of her and her motives. This isn't normal, the absolute majority of my visits and interactions with her have been pleasant and I saw no real reason for why I felt this way. After a bit of conversation she got tired of my provocative attitude, told me to leave, and then told me to come back. She laid me on her bed and told me to stay there for a bit, for what reason I assume to be to adjust myself to her energy and the general atmosphere of this kind of interaction. I laid there for what must've been a couple of minutes until I decided to get back up. Twenty minutes is a short time frame, and I wanted to do something that wasn't laying in a bed. It ended with Remilia and me mixing intents in what I believe to be a method of cultivation. In honesty, I doubt it had any real meaning, and was more of an experimentation. It didn't feel like she really knew what she was doing with that exercise.

  3. For symbolism, she removed one of her foot wear and left it on the ground for a couple of seconds. A couple of seconds is all I need to get the general impression, from what I can understand as of right now it was a message in the lines of, "Move on." I also asked Sakuya to stab me with one of her knives to see what would happen. Nothing did, it didn't feel or seem like I could actually be hit. I don't have a strong grasp for what reasons this could have.

  5. Like I said, 20 minutes is a short amount of time to interact with anyone, so I kept the interaction going with Remilia after I ended the session in Gensokyo. The general conversation was along the lines of admiration and accepting that others can genuinely admire someone else without ulterior motives.

  8. Now for Japari Park, I did everything properly by the request of Yuuka. Last time she didn't have me do anything related to the circuit or silver tray and had me go straight to gensokyo, but this time I did the circuit and headed towards Japari park. Accompanied by two vampires, one man, and guided by Serval. The area was on the edge of a jungle, next to a river and a large plain of rolling hills of dark green grass. The general atmosphere was darker than I would've expected, similar to how I view this physical world it was dark in color. Despite that it had life, possibly thanks to the spiritual beliefs of those who live within it. The first thing Serval led us to see was of a portal, she created a dagger like item and planted it on the ground. A portal opened and showed a WW1 era type scene. I couldn't understand it all that well, but I did my best to try to understand and it clicked into a shape I could understand. I was hasty in this I suspect I did it before I was supposed to, regardless after what she wanted was done she moved onto another area. This was similar to what had happened before, so I'll move on to her telling me that I was being too hasty and I should move on to somewhere else. An owl appeared and took me and a vampire towards a pyramid like structure encased in dirt and vines, had us place our hand on the door and draw blood, and then went inside the pyramid into a library.

  10. The library was a pleasant experience, books were pulled out and given to us to read and figure out. One book related to the spirituality of the inhabitants, another to what I could count 16 fighting styles of the friends, another to the art of levitation and the dangers of improper thoughts leading to the loss of levitation, and the last provided to us was on the nature of friendship. I was asked to provide my own book for research and I gave a book on swastikas and the nature and functions they have. A copy of the book was made and stored in the Library, and then I was told the session would end here.
  11. An interesting note was on the appearance of the people. On gensokyo I appear as a blond lady, very quick to anger and contempt, but otherwise normal. Here it's a black haired wolf, whether a man or woman I can't tell. I read here that spells and the like show themselves as tattoos on the body, trying to look at myself in that particular way I noted deep red, richly detailed drawings and markings all over my body. Not a single centimeter was left untouched. It read of heroic tales, and had pictures of people doing martial or daily activities. Looking at the owls (there were two) they didn't have as much markings, the white owl had more tattoos over her body than the brown one, and the vampire looked nearly identical to mine. I had to ask for permission for closer observation to the owls, they didn't like my quick movements and whilly whims.

  13. Moving on back towards the Temple I had a discussion with Yuuka on the topic of what a yokai is, our opinions on what is superior and inferior in terms of cultivation and ability. The conversation went something like this:
  14. Yuuka: "What does it mean to be a Yokai?"
  15. Me: "In my view it's the purification of human thought into a particular essence, although having surpassed humanity in some ways and having beings of great ability, still fundamentally lower than the human potential."
  16. Yuuka: "Close, but not right. It's more of a ripping apart of two parts, the space in-between is the true Yokai."
  17. That's the important part at least. The actual session ended there and went on for a few minutes longer than 20, although this was a personal conversation so it doesn't matter.

  19. I would write out what I grasped in the books but I think it's best that those who are interested read it first hand.
