BILL: What, uh, whq.t's your timeline for getting rid of that stuff right now? When do
you need to know whether or not we can move it for you?
JEFF: Um - only because I don't have the right people here. Um, I can - I can - I can
wait longer, I mean we're -we're still, what, six hours away, seven hours away?
BILL: Yeah, we're a long ways away so it's, um - but I might be able to have a use for
it?
JEFF: OK.
BILL: I might -might have found a home for it, uh, price isn't good? I'm looking
between - right now, I'm hoping to be able to get 100 for it?
JEFF: OK.
BILL: Ifit goes, uh, into the imbalance, which is something you don't want to do with it
JEFF: Right.
BILL: Uh, yesterday morning it went negative again --
JEFF: OK.
BILL: -- for the first couple hours. And I don't think you want to pay someone to take
your energy.
JEFF: No, don't want that. So, well, I'll tell you what. I've got, uh, someone here I can
probably, all we really need to do on this end is, uh, and we can actually have our, our SC
put it in the system, he just needs to put the tag in and we can probably get him to do
that without a problem, so if you call the 7100 number we can probably get it done.
BILL: Whose your SC right now?
JEFF: APX.
BILL: Ah, the APX, huh?
JEFF: Yeah.
BILL: All right.
JEFF: Is that not good?
BILL: No, I mean they're fine.
JEFF: OK.
BILL: They, they're fine people, good people.
JEFF: We, um, we just - we just - we're doing one right now actually, we're flowing,
um, and, and we, we've got their market window up when we've done it, but, we - I can
have, you know, my 24-hour guy just call APX and put it in for us.
BILL: Yeah.
JEFF: So, he - he's setting you guys up as a, as an entity, uh, for us as well right now.
BILL: To trade with in the APX?
JEFF: Yeah. Both in the south and the north.
BILL: OK.
JEFF: Hey, let me ask you a question.
BILL: Sure.
JEFF: Um, um, this unit that we own, it's in the - IID ah, control area -

2 JEFF: -- which is outside of, uh, uh, Cal ISO?

4 JEFF: Is there any way you guys can take that and wheel it up to a more lucrative

BILL: So you have, uh - are you talking about the 12 megawatts that's outside the ISO?
JEFF: Yeah.
BILL: You mean it's not in SP 15?
JEFF: No. Its actually, a -it's -it's in -it's in California, but it's in -it's in the II - uh,
Imperial Irrigation District control area?

JEFF: Which is not part of ISO and;uh, if we can, we can actually wheel that thing, ah,
we can get it to the border of IID, if you guys can - can take it from there up and maybe
14 to the north.

15 BILL: So, what, do you give it me? Where would you give it to me? At, like, Midway

JEFF: I'd - I'd probably have to give it to you right at IID, for - for the - just because I
don't have anybody here right now. I did directly connect it, to, uh, Arizona Public
Service and it looks like WAPA as well. So I don't know if you can, if you can do
anything with that m - small amount of megawatts -
BILL: But I need a transmission delivery point or I'm gonna have to get a hold of - you
know I guess I could call IID and have them give it to me at probably Palo um, and
what, north [inaudible] line, I think?
JEFF: Yeah, I doubt, to be honest, I have no idea, Bill.
BILL: OK.
JEFF: I'm, I'm -
BILL: I can probably get that stuff out to Palo, to the - your market at Palo right now is
worse than the one at SP 15.
JEFF: Oh, really?

JEFF: [laughs] OK. All right. Ah, just a thought.
BILL: But, you know, that's gonna change in a week, so -
JEFF: OK, all right, good. Well that's - that's something to think about as we go
forward here with this, uh, with this arrangement.
BILL: OK. And right now, you can get those 12 in the SP 15 to sell to me there, right?
JEFF: Yes.
BILL: Is that correct?
JEFF: Yes. We, we're flowing them now so we don't have a problem with that. We've
got the transmission and, you know, that's no problem.
BILL: OK. All right, sounds good, I'll call that 7100 number, uh, if I find out
something I can get done - throw you guys something so you can keep that thing
flowing.
