▹BACKGROUND; When Eun was around her preteen years, she was teased and insulted by her fellow classmates for being ‘overweight’ and she distanced herself from her parents so they wouldn’t find out. She was their little sunshine and all it took was a few words for that spark to disappear.’Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me’ was just another lie told to her by her parents. At the ripe age of 15, Eunkyung was tipping the scale of 75kg and she had already felt the side effects of her doings. She became exhausted at doing the slightest bit of movement and even going to the fridge and grabbing a drink was difficult for her. Just a few months later, her family had welcomed a new addition into their family but the poor baby was born with a weak heart and had to stay at the hospital on many occasions. Eunkyung (due to this) decided to lose weight so she could show her baby sister she wasn’t a complete disappointment like what her classmate would say to her. In just 2 years, Eunkyung had lost 22kg and maintained a healthy weight of 53kg. Her sister still had her medically problems but everything was fine now for the Woo family. Eun decided to become a teacher so she could show the students to love themselves and love their body for what it is.
