- 1: What are your pronouns
- She/her
- 2: What are your mains (in any game where you can have a main. smash, overwatch, whatever)
- Kirby!!! (all smashbros games)
- 3: What's your favorite Sonic game (besides Mania preferably)
- uh.... idk there's a lot of sonic games and I've played a good handful of them but not sure which one strikes me as a favorite. Maybe Sonic Adventure 2?
- If only because much of its pacing is legit fun, despite the frustrations of crtain levels (Death Chamber comet to mind). I'm not very much versed into the wii era sonic games, as I've always erred on the side of waiting for the reviews to come out, being accutely aware of the dreaded Sonic Cycle that had manifested in that point in time.
- Mania is freaking awesome to me but if I had to choose a classic sonic game that wasn't Mania, I'm sorta torn between sonic 2 and sonic 3, if only because sonic 2 was my first sonic game and that I have fond childhood memories of it (though I still can't beat metropolis zone...). Sonic 3's ability to save your progress was a lifesaver for me, who really sucks at more difficult sections. I'm not even sure if I ever got past Launch Base Zone in that one, but I remember enjoying it.
- 4: What's your favorite game that you like even though you probably shouldn't
- Favorite guilty pleasure game? that's a tough one.
- I keep my amount of games played list pretty short and I'm not sure if I have any shame for any of them.
- Like, if some other peroson had my game playing history, they'd likely say pokemon channel, but I don't regret the fun times I had with pikachu back then.
- I was pretty lonely and sometimes you just wanna watch some pokemon tv. To have shame in your game choices is to deny your nature. The games we play reflect what we wish to see, what we desire to experience. A creative pursuit such as a video game is a window into the minds and restrictions of those who had influence upon its creation, and how we react to what these games offer say something about ourselves in turn. If there is a game that is interpreted as a guilty pleasure, it means the player isn't willing to reveal a facet of themselves to the general public, which can mean a number of things for various reasons.
- 5: What's a game that everyone seems to like except you
- eh, there's a lot of them.
- For me, interest in a game tends to more depend upon the brightness of the color palette (yes, I know I'm shallow for saying that but at least I know this), so a very large amount of games I am not particularly invested in for this superficial reason. most gun games just aren't my thing (though the ps2 gta games are kinda fun, if only because of the crazy stuff that can be done with cheat codes). If I'm going to play a game, it's gotta be worth my time and I want to get something from it. I want to feel something. I want to be shown something worth appreciating. I want to laugh. I want to be moved. Challenge and goals are fine in moderate amounts for my play-style, but I'm not into gaming for the glory. The numbers mean nothing to me. The flag at the top of the mountain merely means that the climb is over. Without something to supplement it, the challenge is empty to me. I do not seek to be the best, but to find something enjoyable.
