GAME: You accept Guivre's request to meet at Sybaritic - The Atrium.
Sybaritic - The Atrium

        A vast glass room with high ceilings and an open air appeal; the small expanse of gardens ahead can be seen clearly through the glass wall and displays a panoramic view of foliage. The east and west ends of this semi circular room branch off into hallways that lead to private rooms for spa procedures. The gardens act as a covered courtyard in the center of the building with all other rooms benefitting from the flowering views.

        Just through the entryway, The Atrium is dominated by a large pale azure marble fountain which sings a delicate natural hymn, intriguing the senses and yet calming the mind. Comfortable chairs are arranged with care around the space and offer various nooks for quiet reflection. A long wide fishtank designed with mirrors inside bisects the seating area; the self containted mirrormaze is home to many colorful tropical species.

        The sound of falling water, the fine incense of ouzo and anise, the rich earthy textures coupled with natural lighting combine to make this a luxurious place without rival.

The exterior of the building is black marble facade nestled between some of the high rises in the business district; Sybaritic has no sign save for the number 277 hewn into the black marble above a set of frosted glass double doors. The doors open with the sound- that is both off putting and relaxing- of a human sigh. Just inside the foyer is a small basket with purple and green towels and sign that reads, "Don't Forget Your Towel!"

Once inside the spa a strange, subtle sort of music echoes softly from unseen speakers in the ceiling. It is a soothing tonal melody without words, without a beginning or an end, a sweet cyclical song that calms the mind and eases the nerves of many who listen.

Guivre is seated by the fountain, watching the exit while idly flicking pennies into the water.


        Jolene actually picked up one of the warm purple towels, in the basket as she stepped in, tucked in her hand, is what looks like at first glance, two files. As she steps in to the beautiful and calming foyer, she does take a moment to take a deep calming breath, instintively, letting the calming music work on her. She looks as if she has been quite stressed and could definitely use a day at the spa. She offers a warm smile to Guivre happy to see her friend again. "Good Evening Guivre. It is good to see you tonight." If he doesn't seem to mind, she will step forward to give him a warm hug.


Guivre stands and accepts the hug, looking just a little surprised by the visit, "I knew I was expecting someone but I didn't realize it would be you-" Guivre says it so sweetly and his eyes dip for just a second to the files in her hand before zipping back up to her face as he offers, "Would you like to grab a seat, have a chat? Or is this a quick visit?"


        Jolene smiles at his warm greeting, and offers softly, "It can be as long or short as you wish My Friend, admittedly I have done most of all I can at the moment, and I think we may have a big problem." She carefully hands over the files to Guivre to look over. "It had come to my attention that two young girls were rescued from some human traffickers, and I was asked to look over them, in my examination, I took a sample of their blood to test. What I found was unsettling to say the least." She does take a seat near where he was, so he can make himself comfortable too if he wishes, before she continues.


Guivre furrows his brow and leads them over to the comfy chairs by the fishtanks so that he can sits and look over the file with her, flipping the pages, "Unsettling how?" He asks, looking over the pages and trying to figure out the mystery here, "Were they not human or something?"


        Jolene joins him and starts to explain her notes, thoroughly documented and pictures to go along with the research, including notes for a cure for what she has discovered already. "They were infected with a virus, with the potential to mutate, in a fast growing leprosy when combined with the right activating agent. As it stands right now, I was able to find a cure, but the man who created this virus, is still very much out there. I bring this to you, because you need to be aware, and we need to be on the watch for any other patients exhibiting the same symptoms. And because as of yet, I have not been able to determine if this could effect us. Madeline, Fritz, Ed, and even Myrtle are working together to try to find the one responsible so we can find out if others have been infected." She gently lets her fingers run through her hair a moment as she takes a breath, terribly mortal breath but a habit she still has not let go of, as she tries to release her own tension. "They had tortured these girls and put tracking bands on them to keep watch over them, the bands now are in the hands of Madeline, Fritz and Ed, to track the man who had them created to begin with. I can give you his details as well if you like, perhaps you have resources I do not yet, who can help further?"


Guivre holds the files and lofts them a bit, "Can I keep this?" He nods to what she says, "I may have some Influence in the medical fields that can help. I can make a few phone calls."


        Jolene smiles at him and nods, "These are for you. And I would be greatful for any weight you can pull my friend. I will also keep you up to date on anything else I can find. Would you mind if have Myrtle hand deliver these to you? She seems to want to be involved and I think it would be good for her."
