[07:14] Slowly moved through the tree's his left hand covering his eye, the man's complexion looking somewhat pale as shadow's continued to escape through the holes of his fingers as he held it over his eye. Once hitting the main road the ranger made it a point to put as much distance between him and Delphina as he could less the worst were to happen again.

[07:17] The rat was probably paying the most attention, and he was running like a gremlin considering his ridiculous short legs, well not that he does care much of others' attention, but seeing something like that.

It certainly is going to cause the rat to pursue, trying to figure out why did the man try to run away after reaching the two, "Oiy! What're you running from?" He looked back behind him though, just in case there was some creature or something.

Nope, there were nothing...

Something's up for sure.

[07:21] Nic simply trying to get out of the populated area before things took a turn for the worse. "I need to leave now!! No time to explain!"

His voice sounding nearly frantic and in a panic. Whisps of darkness continuing to be released from his eye as if it was reacting to something. The pain of the runes activating slowly starting to grow more and more intense.

"I can't be here right now... I should have just left after the damn shadow lands.."

Once more trying to make his way through and leave the city as quickly as possible still holding it together for now.

[07:24] Kira would run from behind trying to catch up to Nic as well, but falling far behind due to being as tired and out of shape from a proper fighting form as she is. All the farm work is tiring and an exercise, but not one that made her able to catch up with the other fighter magis,

"Nic! Micah?!"

She caught on what was said, but it is incredibly confusing her. Though, the constant release of something from his eye, that she can see for sure and is bringing her worry!

"Nic?! Hold on, I'm coming! Micah, please keep him still!"

She tries to keep up the pace anyways, no matter what her age or lack of training is telling her.

[07:28] The rat's been through the shadow lands a lot enough to know what was happening, and the darkness oozing out of his eyes are explanation enough, "No time to explain? There's a lot of explainin' here!" He points out towards Nic's situation.

While the poor lad was suffering from the runes that is hindering him from feeling comfort and spreading those pain, the rat refuses to let him go and run away just like that.

"That right there needs treatment!" He said aloud, pointing out at him, "If you's gonna leave, you'll have to go through the rat!" He could literally just walk over this short buffoon but this rat was quite the chaser.

[07:33] The ranger swung his arm around in one final attempt to try and put some distance between himself and the rat. His right eye thus opening and those close enough able to see it's pale glow. The gently colored red orb which rested in his eye socket was not lit up brightly, swirling darkness visible in the center of the eye behind the array of runes and other bit's that connected the prosthetic to his nerves. "Stay away from me!"


Anger, resent all evident in his words but above all pain and confusion. The sight of what he saw in the shadow lands was the trigger for this episode. The illusion's and darkness in which his magic originated from starting to run rampant within his eye and soon affecting the rest of his body.


With Nic's fight or flight mode having already been in full swing the ranger simply wanted to try and avoid any casualties if possible especially here in the city.

[07:40] The rat was not one to try and harm a person that have already been harmed, but at the same time he is not one who is too experienced in situations like this at some point considering the neutrality status he possesses, and having such is a curse in the scenario.

The rat would try to dodge, using the advantage of his short sized nature somehow, but he is not to say the fastest critter in the entirety of Gutter, only the shortest gremlin.

But with the aggression thrown towards him would only trigger the rat's own, with the size of his axe imbued with the hardened bones surrounding the sharp edge to turn it into a maul of sort instead of an axe, he would try to swing it towards the lad with such an erratic behavior, "Ah said, you need some treatment!"

This is probably a self defense in his point of view... Or maybe there's more to it, an intention to hold him down.

[07:51] In a fraction of a second the fear would consume the ranger, the illusion's coming forth as they started to merge with reality. "I said stay away!"

Jumping back and thrusting forward his hand producing a wave of sound in order to disorient the rat long enough for him to draw his bow from his back. Pulling back its string with his left hand lightning then began to crackle up and down it's frame as dark storm clouds began to loom over head. "I don't want to hurt you! Just let me leave!"


Panic deeply evident in his voice, the pain of his eye growing by the second. As Niclous would look onto Micah from where he stood now in the forest his form began to draw the shadow's and darkness to himself cladding his very form in it. Slowly he started to merge into the darkness his voice only being heard as an echo through the wood.

"I warned you to leave me alone....."

An arrow formed and notched on his string ashe appeared across the wood his aim ready. The arrow glowing faintly with the discharge of electricity and it's center as black as night. The two different magic's condensed and altered with the use of his sound and wind magic letting the molecules of the two energies vibrate ravenously to form them into something new.

His first show was fired letting a sonic boom be released when the arrow would make contact with something.

[08:08] The fight was rather one sided in this case, the ranger wasting no time as he would rush in to deal with his attempted capture as quickly as he could. Each arrow would fly off in the rat's direction. Delivering burst of sound and a minor smokescreen in order to confuse and disorient them. Time and time again he would launch a barrage of shots aimed at the rats feet to add to the confusion.


With the waves of sound, lightning, and currents of air all creating an onslaught of relentless attacks at the axe wielder Niclous would start to slip the battle feeding into his frenzy as his mind started to break thread by thread. A cold and emotionless chuckle was heard originating from the darkness as the attacks continued to come.

Barely holding himself together he held his hand up in a sloppy attempt to end the fight. Calling forth a storm of wind and rain. Vicious winds then started to cut down tree limbs and leaves all around the magi. The entirety of the forest feeling the storm magi's presence.

"Stay out of other's way."

The words broke through the storm being heard as clear as day by Micah distinct snap of Niclous's fingers were heard before the storm ragged on even worse then before. Uprooting tree's and the wind even now cutting into the trunks. For Micah who was Niclouses intended target it would be the worst. Him being at the center of the storm to be battered and broken by the wind. His bones soaked cold by the rain and his flesh cut away bit by bit to the wind.

As the ranger watched this go on his senses were clawing away at him, his nature fighting and struggling to emerge back to the surface and overcome the darkness that was influencing him. Just as quickly as the storm had come the clouds dispersed and what sounded like a glass vial being broken off in the distance with the ranger no where to be seen.

[08:14] The rat came towards him fast, and came flying away from him fast, trying to deal with Niclous was like running straight into the eye of the storm for Micah, he is far too inexperienced to deal with such a power, he had to go through smokescreens, illusion, shadowy things, darkness all over the place.

And worse of all, the addition of countless of wind crashing down into him, followed by the shockwaves of sound, lightning strikes, etcetera! Just how many things are kept within this guy's mana??

Although his flesh were cut countless of times by the sharpness of the winds, and the bones he use affecting him within the low temperature, Micah couldn't handle it forever, he was just waiting for the moment of the wind to throw him so far away from the escapee.

"EUGK!" He crashed into the nearby tree in such a comical way, all thanks to the shortness of his HEIGHT, he couldn't stop the person to get him healed and instead have gottenhis own injuries.

One could say that he's... Injurat.

Although he was cut, the knowledge of blood magic is one of the many strong affinities within the rat, he was able to keep himself from bleeding too much by controlling it, at least for now.

A few bandages and lots of suturing should help with the bleeding part for later.

The worried Kitsune just continues to shout out among the storm and rain. The only thing that would protect her from any crossfire are the trees itself as well as her own weapon, using the two durable objects to protect herself.

Additionally, seeing that her niece, Suzuyu, is here too? She'd step to her side to hug them firmly, of course! But also to protect them from the rampage that is happening in the middle of the woods whose origin being from one of his adoptees.

Once the storm had settled down though, she would stand up to look at the whole forest's state or remains. And among those remains, she'd try to get a good look at Micah and Niclous. Sadly, the latter being gone from sight. Still, it is greatly worrying her! What had Niclous gotten himself into this time...?

For now however, he petted Suzuya and let her go, to run over to the Injurat Rat to check the injuries on Micah, "What's up with him...?" As quickly as the white-haired beastkin disappeared and left Micah injured, as quickly did she apply first-aid to him to cover up his wounds and fix everything she could using her bio magic. Any broken bones too? Fixed as well due to Bone Magic.
