- 1 Inner Power Connector
- 1 Outer Power Connector
- 1 PCIe Capture Bracket
- PURCHASED
- 1 30cm PCIe 3 Riser Cable
- 1 C13 to C14 Power Supply Cable Extension (2 feet)
- 1 Power Button (16mm diameter)
- 6 M3x16
- 4 M3x12
- 4 M3x10
- 10 M3x8 (+4 more for a 2.5" drive)
- 24 M3 hex nuts (5.5mm flat-to-flat (standard))
- Preparation:
- FRONT PANEL
- - Attach the power button
- - (Optional) Attach the 2.5" drive
- - It does matter which direction you place it in, one will be flush with the sides
- MOTHERBOARD PANEL
- - Attach RAM, CPU + Cooler, etc. to motherboard.
- - Attach the PCIe Riser Cable to the panel (not the mobo itself yet) (2 M3x10)
- - May be necessary to remove the lock, I did
- BOTTOM(s)
- - (Optional) Attach 92mm fans
- TOP RIB
- - Combine the parts of the top rib together (super glue recommended)
- - Attach the PSU with the fan facing out, and all necessary power cables
- BACK PANEL
- - Attach the power connector (Outer | Back panel | Inner) sandwiching the female end of the extension cable (2 M3x16)
- - screw from outer through panel into inner
- - put a nut in first, before you cover it up
- Assembly:
- 1. Combine the two bottom pieces using the wide middle foot (out) and foot plate (in) (4 M3x8)
- 2. Attach the motherboard panel to the bottom, with the flat side facing the larger space (2 M3x8)
- 3. Attach the rear panel to the bottom by screwing through small feet (2 M3x8)
- 4. Attach the front panel to the bottom by screwing through small feet (2 M3x12)
- 5. Attach the top rib and PSU to the the front panel (2 M3x10), back panel (2 M3x12), and motherboard panel (2 M3x8)
- 6. Attach the motherboard to the motherboard panel, with standoffs between the mobo and panel at each point. (4 M3x16)
- - Ensure the riser cable goes behind the motherboard up out the top (where the PCIe slot is)
- - You must use M3 screws, since the only way to capture them is with the captive nut.
- - If your screws are too thin for your mobo, print washers by scaling the standoff until it looks like it would work
- 7. Attach the GPU to the PCIe riser. Everything should slot into place nicely.
- - Using the printed bracket, secure the GPU
- (NOT M3 screws, whatever is standard for PCIe brackets)
- (You could get away with M3 screw with a nut if necessary)
- 8. Do the remaining wiring
- 9. Flip the PSU switch
- 10. Profit.
- ** If the IO shield / motherboard does not align correctly for whatever reason, the easiest fix
- is to print corrected standoffs by scaling the z-height in your slicer
