ame vs guy

Quick n dirty here

Guy makes a good point that any extended fight leaves Ame's characters pretty fucked up, and I don't buy Aquaman's piercing resistance outside of his suit, which I think is pretty good. A point I think Guy left on the table in that regard is that Aquaman clearly isn't being shot by an M134, it's some little shoulder-mounted thing. I think Guy could've made a strong point about just mulching everything in an area with the M134 but I don't think he fully capitalized on it.

I think generally Ame's argumentation for Aquaman in particular was a lot shakier than his argumentation for Caitlin. "He stabs but if it doesn't work he doesn't try to stab again" is a weird point to make when the scan you link has him saying "you heal?!" and then trying to stab him again. That said I think he can probably stab both of Guy's characters if he hits them.

Caitlin seems fairly strong but not especially durable comparable to the tier when her main argued durability leaves her fairly disoriented, if not injured. Ceding that Guy's characters are capable of that kind of hit, regardless of the rate at which they can do so, I think was a bad move. As is a hit from Brother Blood or Michael Wilson seems like it'll put her to the ground at least, which leaves her vulnerable to more attacks and less able to get hits in in response. Without this concession I think Ame would've put himself much farther ahead.

I think Guy took good advantage of Brother Blood not being speed equalized, and I think without arguing skill it would be hard for an equalized pick to get hits in on him. His scaling to Cyborg is almost definitely not as shaky as Ame attempts to portray it, and I think he has relevant offense even if it's just by Ame's implicit concession thereof.

Generally, yes, I think Aquaman could gore either member of Guy's team, and I think that Ame's team's striking is relevant to both of Guy's characters, but the minigun fire I think will at least give Aquaman significant pause, the missiles will delay him, and BB can probably avoid being hit by Caitlin long enough that Michael can charge her or something.

It's close and it rests on some argumentation that isn't totally intrinsic to any of the characters, just on some missteps in argumentation imo, but I think Guy edges this out.
