An unlikely trio travel through time in order to battle unknown criminals and protect history as we know it.
Timeless tells the story of a mysterious criminal who steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. The only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor, who must use the machine's prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. But can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it's too late?
I like this show a lot, but I can't see it surviving if history is constantly being changed. I hope they get all the bad guys this time, and then go to more of a "Quantum Leap" theme, and have them going back and trying to fix what had been messed up.
I really liked the first ten or twelve episodes - decent adventures in which you knew what side you were on.<br/><br/>The more they had paranoid notions about secret controllers, the less I found it plausible.<br/><br/>Also the episodes became scrappy, with nothing much decided. And far too much with the characters thinking about themselves.
