  1. So right now I feel quite busy with all the things I'm trying to juggle in my day to day life, to a point where it's hard to figure out what to stream. Between waking up early, class, HW, meditation group, therapy, and 1-2 hour naps because I'm always exhausted when I get home, I usually am available to stream at around 5 or 6. That doesn't sound too bad, but I play osu! 2 hours a day, so it's much closer to 7 or 8, provided I don't dick around for an hour or so (which I usually do).
  2.
  3. This is where things usually get difficult. There is time to practice or play 2FM, but honestly, I just don't enjoy playing 2FM right now. I have a good time playing it and interacting with chat, but most days when I play 2FM I just feel generally exhausted playing the game. Playing osu! and 2FM back-to-back on the same day is such a toll physically, it's hard to keep that up. I just lack the desire or motivation to play the game.
  4.
  5. Now I can see the advice before it's even typed. "Discipline."
  6.
  7. But with all the constant distractions surrounding the game and me playing it, I find it almost impossible to play the game just for the sake of playing it nowadays. It's hard to explain, but just saying "be more disciplined" isn't really enough right now, and I don't want to end up even more burnt out than I already am. The best time for 2FM is probably during the weekends, if anything.

  9. So I figured now would be a good time to throw out another casual game and see how that works. I think FF13 would work out well, well-known RPG, super polarizing, and I'm interested in why. I feel like it would be right up my alley.
  10.
  11. Now some might ask, "BB, why not just stop osu? This is just like Runescape all over again, this isn't going to help the stream etc."
  12.
  13. Honestly, osu! has been one of the most fun games to play in the last year. Nobody is putting conditions or expectations to play the game except for myself. The skill ceiling is super high and the journey to getting better at the game is always a long term goal with short term goals scattered here and there. It's something I look forward to, and I'm following that.
  14.
  15. The goal is to strike a balance between what is good for me and what is good for the stream, and that's what I'm working towards.
