Reasoning: This version of Hisame wasn't as strong as the demon. And of course, she possessed no regenerative abilities to keep her consistency within a fight. However, the way she utilized her blade to consistently throughout strikes with her sword while also being able to mulit-task through unarmed skills and techniques was pretty advanced. However with her knowledge and continuation of it throughout the many scenes, she's seen from just cameras. She aimed to find a new development with the sword.

TLDR: Hisame is gaining this through the very visions that her system processed and downloaded. To follow out with the plans that Rose had made while also the orders that she was given. Her system didn't simply allow failure. It would be used towards her power so upgrades were less frequent but were just a simple power boost to her rather than something major that she needed to aim towards.

Moment: As Hisame-bot instigates a fight with the Durendal wielder, it seems that since she wasn't the best wielder for Dainslef, she was lacking. Her energy attacks didn't seem to whiff against her opponent but they didn't seem to do any real damage to him, or rather ruin his footing and send him quite a bit aways.

Looking up her software and aiming to unlock a new potential in her, she'd take the few beatings that her frame has taken and used that as a catalyst for, possibly, a new found power.
