The original Musaeum, Greek Mouseion ("Institution of the Muses" or "Seat of the Muses") was an ancient centre of classical learning at Alexandria in Egypt. The Nine Muses of the Greek Mythology were deities that gave artists, philosophers and individuals the necessary inspiration for creation. The renowned Library of Alexandria formed a part of the museum. According to popular description, an inscription above the library shelves read:
"The place of the cure of the soul."

••• Revival of the Muses and the Glorious Seat •••

This modern Mouseion revival is for cultivating and exploring all carefully preserved human knowledge and cherishing the artists and performers of the liberal arts.  We share our wisdom and our talents in sight of the Muses of mankind and their beautiful but highly mystical truths with the end goal of joyously liberating humanity. This idea of the Mouseion is a template for a universal modern Mithraeum based on Classical antiquity universities and Enlightenment era societies. This template gives those of virtous and noble character with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge the simple tools to begin a independent intellectual and artistic organism. Consisting of a self-constituted administration to handle the functions of the Insitution and the schools of thought or expression that wish to establish within it; the Mouseion seeks to empower the mental and physical abilities of its participants. We create torches that bear the Light of mankind unto and back out of the deepest abyss. We foster compassion, cooperation and creation. We do not foster corruption, control and destruction. Those in the Mousion only plant our seeds in fertile fields but the Muses will sing their songs in any hall and shine as lighthouses on the shores of loving truth for any who wish to travel towards the Light.

••• Institution of the Muses •••

(1) Fraternal orders of benefit known as Lodges that consist of pure-hearted and like-minded individuals who have gathered around a substantive foundational scholarly pursuit or artistic expression and wish to share their knowledge or talent in an esoteric or exoteric fashion. These Lodges are separate from but still within the Institution and have their own Grand and Lesser administrative systems. The first 12 Lodges of a Mouseion may be self-established by willing and able individuals. A Lodge may be designed in any fashion but the founding principles of the Lodges must come from the original Mouseion Lodge template.

(2) A meritocratic feudal administration known as a Synod for those candidates of noble character and virtuous reverence who demonstrate their timeless wisdom and undying loyalty to the Institution. These administration chambers start empty and are not electable until at least 5 esteemed Mouseion members begin equally with a hierarchical meritocracy based in natural law where members must earn the right of quality and distinction. With a positively constructive platform any occupied or unoccupied chamber can be justifiably campaigned for.  To prevent autocratic corruption and a convoluted system, the amount of chambers in the administration are limited. A veteran member or scholar of a Mouseion may start their own Institution with another minimum of 5 members of quality. An administration may be designed in any fashion but the founding principles of the administration must come from the original Mouseion Synod template.
