  1. Hey Aaron!
  2.
  3. We've completed the planning for the disaster-related pages based on your recommendation to John.
  4. Initially, we wanted to create these as blogs, but after doing some research, it makes more sense to build these as pillar pages.
  5. Adding them as pillar pages will provide a cleaner structure for search engines to follow and should help boost the silo for Alldry's main service areas.
  6.
  7. First we're going to create the state disaster guides e.g Tornadoes in Florida, NY, Texas
  8.
  9. We've already planned out the first content brief here:
  10. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bMPa4rqkSJpDSeXISmSjGhliq5_GU88yFY5O79daBr4/edit#
  11.
  12. Then we're going to add the different city pages underneath
  13. example:
  14. /florida/tornadoes/boynton-beach/
  15. /florida/floods/boynton-beach/
  16.
  17. From these city landing pages we'll then link to the various service landing pages.
  18. e.g /florida/water-damage/
  19.
  20. We noticed during our research, that there are no landing pages for "storm damage repair" and "flood clean up." I recommend creating those because dedicated service landing pages might rank better. It will also give us additional service pages to link to from our new disaster silo.
  21.
  22. example:
  23. /florida/storm-damage-repair/
  24. /florida/storm-damage-repair/boynton-beach/
  25. /florida/flood-cleanup/
  26. /florida/flood-cleanup/boynton-beach/
  27.
  28. Please help us review the content plan below:
