  56. I enjoy cop dramas. Having said that, I REALLY enjoy The Glades. It&#39;s such a nice change of pace, not as deep or dark as some of the fare is now-a-days.<br/><br/>What some call hubris, I would call being glib. It&#39;s nice to see a cop who&#39;s not always beating his chest or tearing his hair out over a case. The interaction of ALL the characters is also refreshing. Actually seems more true-to-life than most. The little gibes, off the cuff remarks to each other really lightens the &quot;mood&quot; of the show.<br/><br/>This is a great example that a good cop drama doesn&#39;t have to be heart-rending or bloody. Don&#39;t get me wrong, I&#39;ll still watch other cop dramas. But it&#39;s hard waiting a week for each episode of The Glades. It&#39;s on my DVD &quot;series-to-buy&quot; list, no other cop shows made it, yet.
  57. This is really a great high quality TV-show! If you like Magnum PI, Hawaii 5-o, The Mentalist and maybe Blue Bloods, this is something for You. Well - that is what I like, anyway.<br/><br/>The setting is Florida, a beach paradise as in Magnum and Hawaii 5- 0. There is a lot of nice views of both people and surroundings. It gives a feel good kind of atmosphere. Every episode has a murder, and clues and suspects are plenty, the mystery unfolds during the show. As in all the shows mentioned above there is a several interesting characters of different ages and backgrounds, whose lives we see change and evolve during the seasons. <br/><br/>On the very big downside of things is that the show ends to soon. It has only four (but very good) seasons. The ending in season four is also very annoying, an unresolved &quot;could be&quot; murder on one of the main characters. (This is a vague reference - no spoiler i hope...) <br/><br/>PLEASE - directed to one with TV-power out there - ONE MORE SEASON! I have learned to love these characters, and I want to see what happens!
