Visionary Casting Lesson

[17:27] Looking a bit confused for a moment. The prospect of someone actually giving him something as rare as a Black Trout made his entire mentality shift to be less self interested, and more.... well, interested in general.

As the girl caught the rainbow fish on just instances of speaking to him though, Roderik would definitely see the girl as some sort of good luck charm perhaps, or maybe just sun-kissed with an extra clover, here and there.

Amber hues fell on her some, as he would take his shirt off, and then go over to strip some bark from a tree and make his own makeshift pole to join her.

If he found any other rainbow fish, he'd pass them to her, or maybe he'd just see if being near her was a token of prosperity.

"Barnaby eh?

Tha's a bitchin' name... I like it a lot! Uh.. wha's your name, tho?

Mnh.. Roddy." he'd speak over his shoulder some before casting a line.

[17:33] Golden hues glimmered with ultimate happiness a child could muster! She didn't know there were rare fish to be caught and here, not a few moments later, she caught one too, the one she wanted the most!

She hopped up and down, twirling around in celebration.

"Yeah... Bitchin'... What does that mean?" She asks, ensuring the top of the bucket had it's own thin mesh to prevent the fish from flopping out and back to the ocean but also allow some oxygen to get through to not suffocate the pretty thing.

"I am Juniper, June or Juni is fine." She smiles in rod's direction at the sound of his name. "Roddy, that's a cool name like Barnaby." Then, she'd toss out her line to catch a few more fishes, amongst the fishing, she'd see a stranger, waving to them.

"Hiya stranger. Are you fishing too?"

[17:42] Behind the gentle sound of drums of the water gently sliding back and forth over the hot sand, could be head the crushing sound of the sand as the masked Kitsune would walk over the beach.

Yet as he would be saluted by the young girl, he couldn't help but approach, to sit his legs crossed around a meter away from her spot where she would be fishing.

" Greetings! ", he exclaimed.

His voice would be very light for his age, yet it would be fatigued as his gaze, unseen by the vixen mask that hides his face. As his attention would once be shifted toward the girl, the appearance of a boy that he once seen before would show itself.

" Oh! Hello there, Roderik. I believe last time I have met you, it was near from the hero club. Am I right? "

Then his attention shifted back toward the little girl, to give an answer to her question.

" I am afraid I was not coming here for that reason, yet I can do it without any trouble. "

[17:43] Hiking back his line and then casting it into the water, the frosty haired pre-teen would relish in fishing some picking up some sardines, haddock and seaweed.

There was a slight pause again though, his gaudy and self absorbed cackling cut short by Juniper's telling of her name as he flopped his fish off on a patch of grass beside him.

"Juniper huh? Wow, ya' tha second one I know! An' bitchin' is like.. awesome, an' all tha."

Brushing off his colorful and uneducated vernacular a cough would come out from the boy as he had to double take. --Normally most weren't so kind to him on first meeting, and hearing his name which he didn't know how to feel about.

Not truly liking it, but feeling that it was his and being without much in his life, knowing he at least owned that and could never be robbed of it placed along the likes of something truly pleasant like Barnaby gave him an internal murmur.

"Y-ya think so..?

Thank ya.." he would pay a wave over to Ayatashi, and clear his throat now, trying to focus back in on fishing! Yes, that's what he came for... right?

Having a hard and poverty wrenched life, gave him a thick skin and odd way of seeing things... but in that one instance, he did sound completely his age, breaking past that stone to the boy within.

[17:46] Roderik says, "Phew..."
[17:52] Stretching out as he looked to his catches off on the side of him, the pre-teen cracked his back and rolled his shoulder as his rather thin and young physique scrunched the armored plating, shirt and cape back about his person as a triumphant yawn stretched from his lips.

"Mmnh, alrigh' I think I'm all tuckered out.. pfft. But thanks fer tha company, Juni… ima call ya Juni, an tha otha Junebug. Make it easier..ya."

A nicer smile was paid to her than the cheeky, and greasy one he gave most people as he walked about to "his" spot.

[17:53] Ayatashi Masume says, "Hm..."
[18:06] Ayatashi Masume says, "Have you perhaps learned about magic? You seems to have the age to learn."
[18:08] Juniper Invidia says, "Oh, no not yet. I do wanna learn... Cause, my mom and dad know it."
[18:08] Juniper Invidia says, "So... Maybe means I can learn it too."
[18:08] Ayatashi Masume says, "Hm..."
[18:16] The masked Kitsune would have seems to be strangely silent during their fishing. Perhaps he would be lost under the abyss of his mind. Perhaps he would be meditating. Who knows... But he remained silent...

until a single glance would be given to the girl on his side.

" So Juniper it is. My name is Ayatashi Masume… You can see me as a simple Kitsune like the others. "

His voice would merely sound perturbed about recent events. What is it? Only him knows.. But he feels quite bad about it, a feeling that he would hide with the vixen mask that hides his face. Those recent events would make the light manifests itself around it's form. Not because he is pained about it...

But because he has hope to save those lost children in the mountains. Locked in a perpetual chaos...

That light would make the voice come back.

Create a path for the young soul to follow...

The voices lingered, yet only Ayatashi could hear it. At this right moment he has come to understand that the voice comes back only when the pure light flourishes.

His head slowly turned back toward the girl on his side.

" Perhaps I can teach you the basics? I have a unique way to cast, you'll see. ", he asked as his head would tilt, waiting for her answer.

[18:27] She kept her eyes upon the older kitsune who wore a mask, he seemed a bit creepy with just how silent he was but at the same time, piqued her interest from just the way he moved and how he responded.

"Nice to meet you sir." Nodding her head, agreeing to see him as a simple Kitsune.

Juniper held a vacuous expression, a hint of a smile etched at the corner of her lips from her previous friendly encounters with Roddy and Bal. Thinking of the two names in one sentence, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit on the inside picturing a ball on top of a rod to fashion a very generic looking wand.

Aside from that, she was simply a child, nothing truly notable about her, not even the mana she could possibly be exhuming. As fresh and pure as morning dew, an empty cup yet to be filled with knowledge and wayward of thought, clay wetted and prepped to be molded.

Though there was a slight maturity to her, the way she viewed the world itself, for now, it felt best to live in it like a dream, no repercussion, no rules, only the endless limits and possibilities.

But that didn't mean she didn't abide by some rules or limitations either her parents or society has set. A little mixture of both.

"I would really like that sir and to see how you cast." She stood a few feet away, preparing herself for anything yet at the same time nothing, especially when she didn't know what to expect specifically.

[18:29] Mikael says, "Hi, you are my new best friend!."

[18:38] Juniper Elisheva exclaims, "What the frick!"
[18:48] Ayatashi has never been teaching the basics of magic before, he would actually more than happy to teach her and after all, the spirit proposed him to do so.

" Hm... First of all you will need to close your eyes. "

Because the eyes are the windows of the soul, it is by closing them that you may convert them into mirrors, which will give you the ability to vision your soul.

" You should be able to see your soul. Then now you will need to connect a circuit to your soul, as draw the mana from that one circuit. "

He would proceed as he explained. Then he lays both of his hands, showing his palm in opposite directions. His hands would seems strangely feminine, that is a simple trait that makes him a little more unique.

" Now you will have to send your mana to your hands. Which will give you the chance to let your mana flows around. A mana that you can concentrate trough practice into whatever you want. "

He would again, process as he speaks, his hands begins to glow in a blue... The spirit would speak to him again as he lets his mana flows out of his hand.

You hear those voices?...

" Hmm... "

Voices of regrets filled the air. Those voices calls for help, they call for Ayatashi as he lets his mana flows around.

Gift them your energy...

He would listen to the spirit that would ask seems to lingers around Ayatashi for a while. As a guide.

The energy that flows in the air would be sent straight forward the voices that filled the air... Which makes three spirits gain a visible form, yet they could not speak. They would only be visible...

" Oh... ", was the very slight and uncertain reaction from the masked Kitsune. " Interesting... "

His gaze would now turn toward the little Juniper on his side as he tilted his head before speaking.

" Try it you will see, it's more simple than it seems. "

[18:58] Mikael walked closer to them, trying to be as quiet as possible. Only the sounds of his feet crushing the sand were heard.

The boy stands very still, closer to them with a smile on his face, he listened to their conversation as the older one used some sort of magic.

Was he teaching the little girl?

[19:06] The child stood by and observed with eyes and ears, allowing herself to be open-minded to the instructions rather than question just how this is all possible.

Eyes are the windows of the soul. She enjoyed the sound of that, soothing and even a bit cheerful. Yet, Juni would continue to listen while seating herself down on the sand. Envision your soul, connect a circuit to the soul, draw the mana...

To the hands, which will allow it to flow around, concentrate, practice...

"Into wh-" He'd answer before she could ask...

Looking around, what did she want. The more she explored externally and in, the more she found herself being lured to the ocean, how soft they looked, it's cool touch and how many fishes and life it housed. The fluidity.

Laying her hands in her lap, preparing herself to begin this meditation before her attention is captivated by spirits- ghosts. Anomaly's she couldn't completely grasp or understand at the moment, only that it were spooky and yet calming with Ayatashi at their sides.

A little nod of her head given to Aya before facing forward to the ocean, the curling shores that brought seaweed and shells.

Closing her eyes, visioning the very shell of her soul, the curves and shape that frames the vibrating energy deep inside, embraced by flesh, connected, a conduit to everything.

She wanted, sought out to captive the very essence of the ocean.

Steady breathes as a hand slips forward, focusing her mind and energy to accumulate towards the very tips of her fingers.

"Is this how... It goes...?" She mutters, no wish to break concentration, curious if Ayatashi could sense it to help further aid the child into something of an execution.

[19:08] Balam Valerius says, "Hey junebug."
[19:08] Balam Valerius asks, "Catch anything juni?"
[19:10] Juniper slowly nods, she was in the midst of meditation and concentration.

[19:11] Mikael asks, "What are you doing?"
[19:15] Roderik says, "Mnh... feelin' a bit less winded now."
[19:25] The masked Kitsune would as he proceeded, notice the little girl repeating his actions. He would be proud that someone listen to his teaching.

He makes a slight nod as an affirmation to her question before speaking.

" Yes, That's exactly it! ", he paused. " Now, I believe you are still too young to create an actual element. ", he nods. " Yet I believe one day it can be possible. "

Casting magic is something complex and it demands a lot of practice. From a ten years old child it would be harder to create an actual element, that's for sure, yet it's still possible if she persist enough.

Ayatashi strongly believe on the power of the will. The will is a key to many doors.

" only doing this may attune your soul to cast magic, even your mana circuits. "

The souls would be lingering around his own as it would only be there, surprisingly silent. It may actually be because he spreaded his mana too much around to make the most spirits as possible show themselves. Perhaps trough practice that would change...

He remained silent as he just... Embrace this little peaceful moment.

[19:34] Once she heard that it'd take more than one try, she'd slowly ease herself back to a resting point, the first point and slowly open her eyes. She felt a bit more sleepy from that... And because the night was coming in along with the lowering temperature.

"I believe too. I will practice more and more when I can." Confirmed with a nod of her head, she certainly wanted to improve for herself and her parents.

Attune your soul to cast magic, even mana circuits. She could only think of it as interesting, something super important to apply to herself.

The silent and peaceful moment lingered before Juniper stands up and dusts herself, looking to Ayatashi. "Thank you, Ayatashi for the lesson. I will continue to practice as much as possible! So I can see you next time and learn something new. Mh!" Another firm nod of her head.

"I have to get going home now. Mom and dad are waiting for me." A little wave given to the older Kitsune before she'd wave to the other two boy's. "I'll see you guys around, maybe tomorrow! We can all go fishing together. Fish group! Fish Friends!" She chimes before dashing off to home.
