  3. SewCat is software for cataloging embroidery files on your computer and external media (CD's, floppy drives, etc). With SewCat you can view embroidery files in specific directories, conveniently move them into user-definable folders, and rename them in a variety of meaningful ways. All this can be done without increasing the disk space already occupied by your embroidery files!

  5. Features of SewCat:
  6. • Graphically choose directories (on HD/CD) to catalog by clicking your mouse
  7. • View and resize images (icons) of the embroidery files to be cataloged
  8. • Drag and drop file icons - individually or in groups - into the catalog folders
  9. • Drop catalogued files into other applications (editors) for further processing
  10. • Edit catalogued file and folder names to reflect your organizational scheme
  11. • Save catalogued files and restore them for future use and further editing
  12. • Store multiple copies of files in different (virtual) catalogs folders
  13. • Print albums showing the file icons and stitch information for cataloged files
  14. • Embroidery files in Zip-archives can be catalogued like ordinary files
  15. • Assign key words to catalogued files for rapid retrieval
