Opening

According to Maries report, the operation was a success but no information has been recovered yet.
What is certain is that the iron-bugs are doing something in this test site and we have to stop it.
However in this situation, with the iron-bugs positioned like that there is almost no strategy we can choose from.
I wish Aeda would have come up with an idea after hearing Maries report.

Aeda: As expected. There iron-bugs are hiding something.
      Despite destroying around 10000 of their units there is still to many of them.
      Moreover, they are cleaning the place so nothing is left behind...
      IT seems that they are trying to eliminate the traces of something.

We reached the same conclusion.

Constantia: What are they doing...?
            It seems that the iron bugs are not experimenting in the laboratory...
Marie: Iron-bugs still have some some kind of intelligence.
       If they are trying to erase the traces, its likely that is some kind of weakness.

There must have been some weakness that the old humans found.

Constantia: Speaking of weaknesses... This is where the predator appeared.
            But what is the reason they cleaning it just now?
            IF the purpose is simply to erase the traces, you can destroy them all at once...
            There must be a reason for cleaning the site this carefully.
Marie: Well, probably because the Predator was there recently.
       And the reason to not destroy it and clean it up carefully is because this facility is necessary for iron-bugs...
       Or maybe something inside this facility that is needed.
Constantia: This is frustrating.
            There is too little information because we cant understand them.
Marie: If we could communicate, we wouldnt have been fighting for more than 100 years.
       What do we do now Your excellency?
       Its impossible to break through the front because of the current number of enemies.
       We have to find a new way...
Aeda: Then Ill help you.
      I was about to launch a Pathfinder drone.

Pathfinder drone?

Aeda: Yes. Is an ultra-small robot used to grasp the internal structure of a building.
      Since its not equipped with weapons, if its found by an iron-bug it can be destroyed easily.
      If you can destroy some of the enemies inside,
      I can send the drone and give you the information about the structure of the building to find a new route.

It is impossible to enter from the front.

Aeda: Im are thinking ways to maximise our damage with the minimum risk.
      We need to use the drone, so please proceed to the point.

LRL: Mmmm...? This is...! Everyone! Listen! The true ancestor has found the ancient ruins!
Griffon: Again with her weird words... This... This is broken...?
         Water is spilling underneath.
Constantia: The tank is broken, right?
Griffon: It looks it was not broken until recently?
         When was this destroyed?
Griffon: Look at this console. "Access Denied". Its a notification when the encryption code entered is wrong, right?
Constantia: Thats right. The iron-bugs were trying to open this tank...
            Dis they make a mistake in the encryption?
Griffon: I see. Looks like they couldnt figure out the code so they broke the tank and took what was inside.
Constantia: Did the iron-bugs used the computers? That is weird.
            We know they can parasite computers, but operating one is a whole new story...
Griffon: Maybe there was a reason they couldnt infect it.
         Also there was a reason to break the tank and take its content...
Constantia: I think Ill remove this console and bring it with me.
            Ill show it to Fortune and ask her to check it.
