  19. 3. Plug your phone into your computer and boot it while holding the volume down button to get into Fastboot mode.
  20. 4. Open FHMate10Tool.exe and choose Option 1 to root.
  21. NOTE: If your bootloader is not unlocked, the tool will help you unlock it. You will need the code.
  22. NOTE: If you unlock your phone using the tool, open it again and choose Option 1 again to root after unlocking.
  23. 5. Set up the phone without setting a passcode, without setting a fingerprint, without logging in, etc. Skip everything.
  24. 6. When the phone is set up, confirm that you have SuperSU App.
  25. 7. Go to Settings -> System -> About phone. Press on Build number until it says "You are now a developer!"
  26. 8. Go to Settings -> System -> Developer Options.
  27. 9. Turn on USB Debugging
  28. 10. If you have the option to turn on Enable OEM unlock, turn it on. If not, it's not a problem.

  30. NOTE: For Mate 10 we recommend Asia/International.
  31. NOTE: For Mate 10 Pro we recommend Europe
