Ambroz's Letter

Dear Làska (that means you Hiden!),

I wanted to test out our hella cool message system by sending you this letter. It's a love letter actually, because, well, duh! I love you, and this is a letter, so. Love Letter. Makes sense to me, right? Soon it'll be a normal everyday letter, because we can totally keep sending each other letters through this thing. Now we just have to get those pet owls Amaterasu and Iren, and we'll be golden! Owl messaging system! I'm sure if we put out food or something them some type of nature creatures have to show up. Food always brings bugs and birds and mice.

I know you're super worried about nature right now, but I think you shouldn't waste all that worrying that I KNOW you're capable of in something that we both know can take of itself. You may be a soon-to-be Hippie Goth, so you want to be classically goth pessimistic, but nature always bounces back. Kind of like me and you! We've lasted for how many centuries now each? Way too many for anyone to actually understand? And nature has existed how much infinitely longer? The old Mother Nature will be fine. You should focus on yourself and staying safe. You're the Fan Favorite, and now I totally regret asking our bro Hideki what he thought it meant and wanting to hunt for what secrets it gave back a while ago. Nowadays thinking about the fan favorite only gives me a really, really nasty fear that I'll somehow lose you.

I've never actually feared losing someone before. All those kids whose bedsides I sat at as their diseases took them were never mine to mourn. You know? I wasn't even able to ever really fear for my Summoner, because she was dead from the beginning. But then you became fan favorite and Guy Fieri - GUY FIERI! I can't believe he's human, it's ridiculous he can do what he does, but I have yet to figure out what creature he is and I'm running low on options without my books to give me new ideas - tried to kill you. And nearly succeeded, right before my eyes. And I couldn't save you like I was supposed to.

It's not that you're some damsel in my eyes or anything bro, you know that's not it. But I've never had to fear losing you before. We're supposed to have the rest of our probably immortal lives. Me and you, Ambroz and Hiden. The demon and the hibagon. We're invincible. I [there are some black smudges here, like something was written and then marked heavily over] wouldn't know what to do anymore without my bro at my side. I know I always say you're my Purpose for being summoned, but that's because you are. Maybe my Summoner wanted a loving son to comfort her as she died and then go on to live his own life in her memory! That's my theory for what she wanted, even if I'll never know for sure. I hope she wanted me to be happy with you, because I am.

Anyway, I'm getting sappy and lovey-dovey again, because you make me that way. Ever since day one, remember? My big lug. I'll make sure to give you a big old smooch the next time I see you, okay? And maybe we'll eventually be given some camera equipment for you to continue our new show with. I'm thinking we do a food tasting show next! What can I say? This murder game has my mind on food. But it'd be fun to travel and just eat food and not have to cook it. You didn't travel as much as I did before we met, but food is actually pretty neutral of a thing in my opinion. I think it'll help recover from being in this damn game. Make food fun for us again and all that jazz!
