  1. A - Commonly known as APL, or A Programming Language.
  2. B - Some ancient language inspired by BCPL which in turn was based on CPL. Ancestor of C.
  3. C - Seriously.
  4. D - A strange dialect of D.

  6. F - A Fortran dialect. Nobody knows or cares.
  7. G - A very old numerical control language. Not that anyone cares.
  8. H - ?
  9. I - ?
  10. J - A saner APL clone.
  11. K - An array based language by the author of A+. Like J but lamer.
  12. L - A C/Tcl bastard^W hybrid. Also a lambda calculus-esque Smalltalkish language.
  13. M - Microsoft allocated this language name just for the sake of it but never used it.
  14. N - ALGOL N
  15. O - ?
  16. P - ?
  17. Q - A strange language on "term rewriting." Also yet another useless language by the author of K/A+.
  18. R - A commonly used statistics language.
  19. S - A dead statistics language. Ancestor of R.
  20. T - A Scheme dialect experiment.
  21. U - ?
  22. V - ?
  23. W - ALGOL W
  24. X - ALGOL X
  25. Y - ?
  26. Z - ?
  27.
  28. There you go. ?s represent either empty blocks or languages that are too obscure to care about. Fill in the blanks (and ALGOL dialects that nobody cares about) by creating new languages. Because the world certainly needs more languages.
