  1. Team Merge:
  2.
  3. Team Merge is the idea where we allow submissions of the web unity version on the main boards for each game (DL1 DL2 DL3)
  4.
  5. Pros:
  6. The most beginner accessible, when people search up Duck Life 1 2 or 3 they will be put in the flash boards, and without knowing anything about the flash versions or any community standard rules they will be able to submit their duck life run to the most popular board. If later on they want to become competitive they will be able to join the discord and or see the flash games in the resources page.
  7. Will allow for a greater focus on the retro pack speedruns of each individual game (as the web versions are *almost* identical to the retro pack, thus having two separate boards for basically the same speedruns is a bit redundant and excessive)
  8.
  9. Cons:
  10. The web unity games do have different engines and are technically not the same game
  11. Sets a precedent that we don't care for the most accessible version of the game
  12.
  13. *****This will not apply to DL4/ "Duck Life" and TH/ TH mobile*****
  14. Those games will remain unchanged for the time being.
  15.
  16. -------------------------------------------------
  17. Team Tab:
  18.
  19. Team Tab will move all Web unity versions of the run into their own tab (So the tabs on each game would be NMG/Glitched/Web Version) This would separate the Web unity version into its own thing while also keeping it on the main leaderboard.
  20.
  21. Pros:
  22. Keeps thing separated and clean
  23. Allows for the unity web to create its own meta or subset of the community
  24. Cons:
  25. Adds potentially excessive category splitting for something few will run
  26. Might be confusing for newcomers regardless of what we end up naming it
  27.
  28. ------------------------------------
  29. Team No Change
  30.
  31. Keeps things as is, web unity is kept on category extensions and the flash games are untouched.
  32.
  33.
