Baby Loan [Loan/Rita] [/tlvg/]

>”So, I have my shift and then class and then I’m closing so... I’ll be home around, ugh, 11.” Lori sighs as tickles Loan’s chubby little tummy.
>”Alright, honey. Are you sure that Bobby can’t pick her up?” Rita says as she rests Loan on her shoulder.
>”Bobby and I aren’t... like, together anymore, mom.” Lori looks away.
>”Oh, sweetie... I’m sorry.”
>”I-it’s fine. I just thought it was time.” Lori says, she leans forward and kisses Loan on the forehead. “I’ll see you soon, Loan. Be good.”
>Lori shuts the door
>”Buh! Momma!” Loan says at the door before looking up at Rita. “Momma!”
>”Don’t worry~ Momma will be home soon~” Rita says as sways around back towards the living room.
>”You want to watch a video?” Rita says as she sets Loan down.
>Loan quickly anchors herself to Rita’s leg, lest she too disappear.
>”What do you want to watch? Fruit Stories? Or Sky Friend?” Rita suggests, now holding the video tapes.
>Loan makes a slight move from grappling Rita’s shin towards Fruit Stories and that decides it.
>Lincoln walks in after school
>”Oh, is Lori here?”
>”No, she dropped off Loan though. She’ll be here to pick her up late.”
>”O-oh, okay.” Lincoln says. “Is that Fruit Stories?”
>”Yes, Sir! The knights that yell compliments are on a quest!” Rita laughs.
> Loan is watching intently
>”Oh, very cool.” Lincoln says as he sets his bag down and walk over to Loan.
>”Hi, Loan.” He says as he sits on the young girl’s blanket.
>Loan makes a little wave before turning back to the tv
>Lincoln tickles the girl, who giggles and falls to the blanket
>”it’s the tickle monster!” Lincoln says in mock horror
>Loan giggles as she sits up
>”Hey Linc,” says Luan as she comes in through the front door. “You wanted help with algebra?”
>”Oh, yeah!” Lincoln says as he hops up and heads up the stairs.
>”I didn’t know he was already on algebra.” Rita says.
