Star Point Route Hype

First, I'll start buy showing what star points I will get after each battle.

Star Points:
Before Mega Rush drops: Level 4 64
After Mega Rush drops: Level 4 97
After Elite X-Nauts: Level 5 21
After Magnus: Level 5 60
After Dark Bones: Level 6 53
After Gloomtail: Level 6 88
After Dull Bones: Level 6 89
After Red Bones: Level 6 93
After Dry Bones: Level 7 5

With this strategy, I would have to level after Red Bones and get into Peril during the Dark Bones fight in Riddle Tower. This would cost a significant amount of time. Now, what can I do to fix this? Note that I have 5 star points after Dry Bones, so I need to subtract at least 6 star points in order to not level. With the 3 extra fright masks I have, I can use them on the 3 Hammer Bro fights in the sewers where I get Mega Rush. A battle that would normally give a minimum of 11 will now give me 1, cutting off 30 star points. New route:

After Elite X-Nauts: Level 4 91
After Magnus: Level 5 30
After Dark Bones: Level 6 23
After Gloomtail: Level 6 58
After Dull Bones: Level 6 59
After Red Bones: Level 6 63
After Dry Bones: Level 6 95

No leveling in between Dry Bones and Grodus, and I can get into peril with one turn when fighting Bowser!
